Episode 141 You are the First and Only
Bry and Vara sit opposite each other in the 5-star private room restaurant at the Brandon Hotel. Vara prefers an indoor restaurant rather than a rooftop restaurant that incised bad memories in Vara's mind and heart.
The atmosphere of the room was very romantic with a dim light that was decorated with lots of candles and fresh flowers. Vara who chose to change the black dress, to look harmonious with Bry's black tuxedo, looks more beautiful and graceful.
Vara and Bry ordered Italian food for their dinner menu, a little bored because some days they always eat typical South Korean menu. Bry and Vara enjoyed their dinner so much, because in addition to the atmosphere was pampering the eyes, the food was very delicious on their tongues.
Bry smiled at Vara, on the sidelines of her dinner. While Vara still put on a face of annoyance and shame because Bry knew everything he said to Celline.
Vara ventured to look at Bry's face which looked annoying at this moment.
"How do you know everything I told that woman?"
Vara's voice sounded softly with a hint of embarrassment.
Bry showed 4 video recordings from 4 different angles.
"It's CCTV footage that's located right in the corner of the restaurant where you're sitting. I also told my men to install a mini camera on 3 different angles. The woman had reserved the table before, so I could tell where you were going to sit. It's so easy."
A faint smile was still plastered on Bry's face.
"Already dong, don't smile like that continue. Then I'd better go back to the room."
Vara pretended to move from her seat, but Bry held Vara's hand that was still resting on the table.
"Don't go.. I'm sorry, I can't stop smiling because I'm happy when I hear everything you're saying. I am happy, because you have kept me so. That's a sign you love me, right?"
"You know, you're still asking."
Vara muttered while turning his face in the other direction, while Bry suddenly laughed at his wife's words.
Bry stroked Vara's hand very gently.
"Thank you, I've shown that woman that we love each other. I didn't expect you to be able to tell us our habits over tem.."
"Honeeeeyy.."
Vara protested in a spoiled tone, making Bry even more eager to tease Vara.
'Why does every time I hear Vara call me Honey, I feel so happy? But hearing Celline call me Honey, even though the first time, I felt nauseous? Yeah, I didn't ask Vara to change the call, baby.' Inner Bry.
"Darling, do you really like des*han and.."
Vara stood up from her seat and immediately smothered Bry's mouth with one of her hands, making Bry laugh even though he was held back by Vara's hand. After Bry's laughter subsided, Vara just took off her hand that smothered Bry's mouth.
"Darling, you are sadistic. My mouth is smothered, I can't breathe."
Bry's tone was made all the while probably making Vara shake his head.
"Lebay's.."
Bry laughed broadly at Vara's annoyed expression, to him the wife looked very cute and adorable.
“Don't laugh too much, you still owe me one explanation.”
The look in Vara's eyes was as sharp as an eagle, allowing Bry to guess the direction Vara was currently talking.
“Do you want to ask about what Celline said to you?”
Vara nodded quickly, making Bry look doubtful.
“Are you going to believe what I said later?”
“Depends.. I hope you're honest. I still don't know what to react to, but I don't want you to lie.”
Bry looked at Vara's bead very deeply. Suddenly Bry stood up from his seat, then moved to sit right next to Vara's chair. He held both of Vara's hands very tightly.
“You are the first and only woman I touched completely. I've never done it with any woman other than you.”
“Are you honest Honey?”
“I tell you the truth Dear. You know, if I didn't believe in women since Kim Ha Ni cheated on her when we were in high school. Even in college, I kept my distance from women. But Celline was so aggressive, I accepted her to be my boyfriend after months of her chasing me. At that time I was getting used to his existence, so I finally wanted to accept his feelings, even though I did not like him. Honestly, I was getting comfortable with her, but strangely enough, I couldn't reply every time she kissed or hugged me. Somehow his attitude is very aggressive, it makes me uncomfortable.”
“Honey, is everything you say true?”
“I can't force you to believe, but you can definitely feel it. I'm telling the truth.”
Vara's eyes glazed over, then hugged Bry's body very tightly.
“Before marriage, I was determined never to ask you this. I thought, you've done it before marrying me, and I don't think it's okay with that. But when yesterday I heard it from Celiine, either way I feel very angry and disappointed.”
Bry smiled as he gently stroked Vara's hair.
“That's because you love me, you don't want me to touch another woman.”
“Iyaa.”
Suddenly Vara's cry broke, her tears flowing to wet Bry's shoulder that was used as the focus of Vara's face. Bry stroked Vara's back with a sweet smile on his face.
“Never doubt me again. Because you're the only woman I love.”
Vara did not reply, but her cries grew louder.
10 Minutes later, Vara took off her arms. Bry's shoulder was already very wet, but Bry did not care, he was very happy because Vara admitted his love for Bry.
Bry took a tissue and gently rubbed Vara's face wet with tears.
“Ah my face must be a mess. I'm going to the toilet to fix my makeup first huh Honey.”
“Alright Darling.. Don't be long yes.”
Vara nodded her head while smiling very sweetly. Then Vara left the private room to the toilet located at the end of the restaurant corridor.
Bry looked at the clock on his wrist, it had been more than 15 minutes of Vara going to the toilet. But Vara still did not return, making Bry worried about the state of his wife. So Bry decides to follow Vara to the toilet.
Just as Bry reached the front of the toilet, a woman screamed from the toilet. Bry immediately ran in, no matter what room he wanted to turn to was a female-only room. What's in her shadow right now is that she has to figure out Vara's whereabouts and make sure that Vara is okay.
The first sight Bry saw was a woman standing behind him. Bry approached the woman and followed her gaze with worry.
The scenery that he never wanted to imagine though, was now plastered in front of him. Vara's body lay with blood flowing from her neck.
Bry runs and cradles Vara's cold body with tears in his cheek.
"Iawang.. Wake up, baby, open your eyes. Please don't leave me."
