Episode 59 I'm the Cause

Time showed at 8pm when Bry arrived at his apartment. Bry rushed to the bath and intended to immediately lay down his body on the bed. But fatigue did not take away his smile since noon. The arrival of Vara and lunch together in his office, it was enough to give an injection of happiness for Bry until tonight.

Bry had just finished taking a shower and was about to call Vara when suddenly a call from Kevin first came into his phone.

"What's Vin?"

"Bry, Brandon's confidant who was held by Satya, was finished off by Satya's men. It must be on Satya's instructions."

"Shiiyit.. Did you get any information about that guy?"

"The man was named Kang In Pyo, a confidant of the Wang Eagle clan, precisely the right hand of his father Brandon. He has no family in Korea or in Indonesia. That's all I got."

"OKs.. Get more complete information. Bring all your hacker friends. Find out about Brandon, the Wang Eagle clan and everything we need to know. I don't want to be left behind, a step away from Satya."

"Ok Bry's.."

Bry hung up the phone as soon as he heard Kevin's reply. Bry massaged his temple with one hand. The question marks seemed to swirl in Bry's mind. Exhaled very rudely trying to throw away the burden of the mind that was in his head.

His phone suddenly shook. Notification of the message from Vara appears to appear there makes Bry move impatiently open the message Vara.

Nae Nest:

'Bry, can we meet. There's something important I want to talk about.'

Me:

'Alright Honey. I'm going to your house huh.'

Nae Nest:

'No.. Meet me at Restaurant S. I've reserved a place.'

Me:

'Alright Honey. I'm leaving now.'

After traveling for almost half an hour, Bry finally arrived at Restaurant S. The waiter immediately escorted Bry to the Private room when Bry mentioned the reservation on Vara's behalf.

Bry's gaze immediately fell on his lover's face, as the waiter opened the Private Room's door. At the table there are many foods ordered by Vara. Bry's smile instantly burst open as he walked over to the lover he had missed. But the look on Vara's flat face invites a question in Bry's mind.

"Darling, why are you pouting like that? What's up, honey?"

"It's okay. We better eat first."

Vara's tone did not show any emotion, but Bry knew something was different from her lover. Vara began to eat food in front of him, Bry also undo his intention to ask again.

During the meal there was no chatter between them. Because every time Bry was about to start a conversation, Vara always raised his hand or put his index finger in front of his lips so that Bry did not continue his intention.

"Bri.. Is there something you're hiding from me? How long will you cover it up for me?

Vara said in a flat tone but the question immediately hit Bry's chest. His mind instantly became confused.

'Did Vara know about Arya's death?' Inner Bry.

"What do you mean, honey?"

Bry's words sounded a little heartbreaking, Bry felt something bad might be about to happen in a moment.

"That's Bry.. Until when I have to wait for you to speak honestly. I'm waiting, doesn't mean I don't know Bry."

Vara was heard emphasizing his words making Bry even more claustrophobic. His feelings of sadness raged, Bry was confused where to start because no matter how he thought, all the words that would come out of his mouth would definitely hurt Vara.

Bry bowed his head so deeply avoiding the gaze of Vara's eyes that felt like a sword pouring down on his heart.

"Vara, I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I couldn't be honest with you in the first place. I covered it up from you, because I couldn't lose you. If you know the truth, I'm afraid you'll leave me."

Vara who still did not understand what Bry said, already seemed impatient with Bry's next words.

"What are you hiding from me?"

Vara slightly raised her tone demanding an explanation, thus making Bry's chest even more painful. Bry looked into Vara's eyes with a sad look and was full of regret.
