Episode 40 Thank You Satya

KEVIN APARTMENT

Kevin shows CCTV footage of Vara and Brandon entering a private room. But they could not see what was happening in the room because the CCTV camera was not installed in the room. Bry's gaze grew more focused, when he suddenly saw Satya enter the room and close the door again. His guards were guarding at the door. Moments later Brandon is taken out by Larry and several of Satya's bodyguards with battered bodies.

Bry wondered what happened. Until finally Bry's eyes perfectly rounded when he saw Satya carrying Vara with big and fast steps. Without saying anything, Bry rushed out of Kevin's apartment. Kevin and Daniel, who can guess where Bry is going, catch up with Bry with a laptop and all the equipment that might be needed.

Daniel drove Bry's car at great speed. Bry sat in the back seat very agitated. His mind raged, Bry felt guilty because Vara had misunderstood him. He is also worried about Vara's current state, though Bry doesn't yet know what happened to Vara.

　

SATYA MANSION

Bry's car arrived at the gate of Satya's mansion. Kevin asks security to tell Satya that Bry came and asked to meet. After reporting to Satya, Satya allowed Bry, Kevin and Daniel to enter.

Once in front of the mansion, Bry went straight down and entered the mansion that Larry had opened.

"Please Mr. Bry, Mr. Satya will meet you in the living room."

Larry directs Bry, Kevin and Daniel to a room to the left of the 1st floor. But the loud screams startled and stopped their steps.

"Jangaaaaaaaaan..."

Bry who recognized her lover's voice immediately turned around, and ran up to the 2nd floor looking for Vara. Daniel, Kevin and Larry follow Bry from behind.

Bry sees Satya running into a room, Bry accelerates his footsteps following Satya into the room. He saw Satya with a sitting position to the right of the bed, hugging Vara who was wrapped in a white blanket. Bry was about to throw Satya's embrace from Vara's body, when suddenly realized Vara's face looked so pale and weak. Vara's body shivered like it was cold, but it was actually very hot.

"Larry call Doctor Robert." Satya looked worried, Bry climbed to the right of the bed and tried to take over Vara from Satya's embrace. But Satya grabbed Vara's body very strongly.

"Satya give Vara to me, I'm her boyfriend." Satya smiled at her cynical smile.

"Sad.. A boyfriend? Who doesn't even care for his woman."

"What do you mean?" Satya was about to reply, when Vara was delirious again.

"No Brandon.. Don't do that." Vara's tears flowed down her cheeks, making Bry both sad and confused.

"Brandon nearly raped Vara."

"Whataaa??"

Slowly Satya pulled a little blanket that covered Vara's body, exposing Vara's neck. Bry's eyes widened and immediately released a fierce anger, because he saw Vara's neck full of kiss marks. Bry stood up, a little away from Vara. Worried that Vara will wake up.

"Aaaaarrrrgggh... Fuck you Brandooon.." Bry spilled his emotions. Slowly her tears came down, Bry felt very guilty. Stacked his head on the wall of the room, looking down and closing his eyes. Kevin and Daniel patted Bry's shoulders and back gently, trying to calm down the emotionally charged Bry.

"Brandon mixes stimulants in Vara's drink, so that Vara's body does not react as he wishes." Bry's eyes were hot, anger and sadness mixed in his heart. His chest tightness, emotions and guilt so ruled Bry at this moment

'Vara, I'm sorry. All because of me.'

Bry turned to look at Satya who stared back with cold and sharp eyes.

"But is Vara..." Bry was about to ask again, but the look on his face looked very doubtful. Satya understood Bry's direction.

"Brandon did not succeed. I came before he did anything further." A long breath came out of Bry's mouth even though the look on his face was still grim.

"Thank you Satya, because you saved Vara." Bry said very sincerely, but was responded coldly by Satya.

"I'm not helping you. I protect people who are precious to me."

Satya's words touched Bry's heart. It is not only Satya's feelings for Vara that make her sick, but also the fact that she does not care for Vara who she loves so much.

"Whatever your reasons, I'm still grateful." This time Bry did not question Satya's attitude. Bry must suppress his ego, because most importantly Vara survived the barbarity of Brandon.

'Vara, I would love to hug and kiss your forehead right now. But I feel unworthy, for not being able to protect you. I'm sorry, honey. Please forgive my stupidity.'
