So My First Two-Wife Love

God, what happened to me? I continued to be here, among them even I couldn't resist when Ruby forced me to eat with her.

I sighed, though, unfortunately Gibran also sighed at the same time as me and made the atmosphere awkward especially Ruby was in the toilet now and before that he threatened me not to go anywhere, he even brought my car keys as collateral so I wouldn't run away.

Sitting alone with Gibran was something I never thought would happen again in my life even though we didn't talk to each other.

"How's grandma doing?"

"Yes?"

I was a little surprised when Gibran suddenly asked me about my grandmother. I knew their relationship had drifted away after our quarrels, but just like how I felt about her parents, I was sure Gibran loved my grandmother.

"Well." I answered briefly without asking.

The atmosphere became more and more silent after this short conversation, I saw my watch and Ruby had gone to the toilet long enough for me to start worrying.

"Go find Ruby, I have to go home" I said coldly without showing the slightest bit of my worry to Ruby.

Gibran then got up, but Ruby was seen stepping over to us so Gibran sat back down.

"His daughter is that big, you shouldn't let her go to the toilet on her own!""

"You should go with him!" He gave me back my words.

"You are her husband!"

"You are her brother!"

"But you're the one who impregnated him!"

"Yes!" Gibran replied, This time he lost but I was not happy.

"Well, by the way, it's like I'm really excited to see it from afar." asked Ruby when she arrived and immediately sat next to Gibran.

"Not saying anything." replied Gibran quietly.

"Not fighting again, are you?" Ruby asked back.

"So!" my answer and Gibran compact, I don't know how many times. How annoying!

"Sister don't be fierce dong with sister-in-law. You also don't be cynical about brother-in-law!"

"Hum..." Once again we muttered compactly.

I immediately glanced over to confirm Ruby's expression because maybe my cohesiveness with Gibran would irritate her but she instead laughed after that.

"You guys are so funny! My stomach..."

"Why?"

Gibran and I immediately panicked as Ruby grimaced while holding her stomach.

"Quiet is just a mild contraction because I mostly laugh."

"Well, I'll go home first!"

"It's time to go straight home, isn't it too bad brother!"

"I can't go home with you guys!"

"Why not, if you need to!"

"Don't be silly!"

"Don't be fierce to me dong!" Ruby protest whining. "Sir Gibran, bear me dong!" ruby continued, who also protested to her husband.

"Don't be fierce!" gibran said to me with a lazy expression.

"Hum..."

"That's dong, so would you like to stay in our house?"

"Sir, Ruby!"

"Sister, please... I crav!"

"So buy cravings, eat also cravings, this is still cravings too? How many times do you crave in a day? I can't, I have to go home later Juna nyariin!"

"You live with him?" unexpectedly Gibran suddenly asked, and he looked displeased.

"No, we're neighbors..."

"You are really neighbors..."

Gibran's sneer reminded me of my graduation day and I made a video call with Juna right next to Gibran and our conversation back then about Juna's plans to be my neighbor. That time was long gone and Gibran still remembered it, somehow my heart was touched.

"Not just neighbors, we're engaged."

"Wedding?"

Now Ruby's reaction makes me wonder because she looks sad to hear my status now.

I didn't want any more fights after this so I immediately got up and rushed off. "I'm home!"

"Sister!" Ruby blocked my wrist, she lifted her face and looked at me.

"Ruby!"

I immediately held onto Ruby who was currently grimacing in pain. "Sister, sick..." groaning while holding on to my arm so firmly that the nail stuck in my arm but I felt no pain at all because the worry about Ruby was much greater than the pain I felt.

Gibran swiftly called an ambulance, he then carried Ruby's body but Ruby did not let go of my hand.

I don't understand, in the midst of my worries, all of this made me think of the moment Gibran held me in his stomach and Ruby stepped in with us, the difference is now that Ruby is in Gibran's arms and I'm with her.

The ambulance did not come immediately while Ruby continued to grimace in pain until Gibran finally decided to take Ruby directly with his car.

Gibran lowered Ruby's body in the back seat, I immediately entered next to her and placed all of their groceries in the back seat.

"Thank you for not staying in his clothes."

I really want to laugh, even in times of pain like this, Ruby did not forget her groceries because she also reminded me to bring her groceries earlier.

Gibran immediately started his car engine and exited the shopping center to a nearby hospital.

"It hurts, sister.." Ruby cried.

"Patience." I said while wiping Ruby's sweat and rubbing her stomach. "Son, be patient... Wait for your mom to get to the hospital." I said as I stroked Ruby's stomach.

"Ok mama.." said Ruby slowly with the voice of the children.

Really, I want to snap his head which can still be joking when I'm worried half dead.

"Dong spout, Gibran! You want Ruby to stand out here?" I yelled at Gibran to let him drive his car even faster.

"Yes, this is speeding!" His voice sounded panicked.

"Experience if it gets bumped!"

"Yes baffles!"

"That's why!"

With a little quarrel, we finally arrived at the hospital. The hospital attendants swiftly moved Ruby to the push bed and immediately took her to the delivery room.

"You've got Ruby, I'll take care of the administration!" I said to Gibran.

"No! I'd like to be in the same town as big brother!" Ruby refused firmly, still unwilling to let go of my hand and also Gibran's hand on the other side.

"But, Ruby..."

"Please, sis..."

"Oh yeah, I'll take care of the administration!"

"So, I'd like to be at Gibran's too."

Gibran and I shared a confused look, Ruby still insisted on not letting go of any of us and the doctor finally let us in together to the delivery room.

Really, if you can turn the clock...

I want to forget all my anger towards Ruby. Seeing him in such pain made me really regret my anger at him. I can't stop crying right now while praying that Ruby's delivery will go smoothly but God won't grant my prayers...

The doctor said the baby's placenta in Ruby's bladder was stuck in her uterus, causing her to bleed profusely.

There, Ruby pulled me closer.

"Sir, I'm sorry." said Ruby whispered softly with the rest of her strength.

"Yes, I'm sorry about you..."

Ruby came back crying, I hugged her and cried. "You must be strong, you can definitely carry out this labor smoothly..."

Ruby took a deep breath, a breath that seemed to be stuck in her throat. "Same promise I'm brother, take care of my daughter like a sister's own son, so her mother."

"What the hell is Ruby, anyway?! I'll love her but you're her mother's! Don't digress, please..."

"I'm not strong..."

"Son Ruby, you must be strong, baby..." Now it was Gibran's turn to strengthen him while crying he rubbed the top of Ruby's head.

"Marry Jasmine, brother... I want our son to have a mother..."

"Son... Ruby please! Please don't talk about it!" My crying is getting louder, my fear is getting worse.

Ruby took a deep breath. "I know my time is running out..."

"Ruby please..." Gibran and I cried bitterly. We held Ruby's hand very tightly, unwilling to lose her.

"Please, this last request should not be denied..."

"No!!!" I still firmly refused as I continued to cry, "Ruby you must have survived..."

"I'm sorry I can't ..." I chose to leave but Ruby still held me. "Sister, I know the sister who knows best how hard it is to live without a mother. I don't want my son to have no mother. I beg..."

I couldn't look at her, as Ruby kept pleading with me, she then turned to Gibran and looked at him softly. "Please, brother Gibran... Please persuade Brother Jasmine. Please marry her, now. I want to see you married before my death..."
