So My First Two-Wife Love

So My First Two-Wife Love
Among us

"Ruby's..." Gibran stepped closer, I wanted to prevent him from going towards where Ruby was but I held myself back.

"You're dating now?" ruby asked when Gibran was near her.

"Why are you here?"

I was quite surprised to hear Gibran's question because the man deliberately ignored Ruby's question earlier.

"I'm going to buy something. You guys how are the nights here?" ruby replied, she looked at me and smiled but I could see that her face did not show any pleasure.

"Gue again looking for ingredients for cake, it happens to be Gibran nemenin." answered me who also tried to show my smile even though Ruby's presence made my chest tight.

I was afraid, I was afraid that the distance between me and Gibran would appear again because of his presence.

"Oh so..."

"Where's papa loe?" ask me again because Gibran still didn't say anything.

"There's a point in the tooling." Now Ruby no longer smiles, she even seems lazy to answer my questions.

"I'm bothering you guys, right?"

"It's not." Gibran finally raised his voice again but his tone sounded inhospitable so I had to pull the jacket slowly so that Gibran realized if his words to Ruby were a little cold but it actually made me get a cold look from Ruby.

"Yes I mean it's a public place, besides I'm the same Jasmine don't really do it."

"Why ask for a kiss?"

It was like hearing a lover interrogate his lover who was caught cheating.

Heart hurts...

"It was just a joke" Gibran said nervously.

"Oh..."

"Yes, if you are again your papa, please... Papa you will be nyariin."

Though I had expected that Gibran might take Ruby shopping with us but this was beyond my expectations because Gibran did not invite her at all.

"Yuk, there are still many materials that you want to buy. Yes first..."

Gibran did not wait any longer, he led me while pushing our shopping trolley with his other hand and stepped away leaving Ruby still standing in her place.

I turned towards Ruby before my footsteps and Gibran completely moved away, ruby looked at us without a smile on her face and then I looked at Gibran who also showed the same cold expression.

"Loe why Ruby?" ask me, 'cause all this time I knew Gibran was always being nice to Ruby.

"Why not." replied Gibran casually as he placed several boxes of milk into a shopping trolley.

I no longer ask after that, honestly I feel happy because Gibran attitude that does not necessarily ignore me when meeting with Ruby but on the other hand I feel sad to see Ruby who looks moody earlier.

What's wrong with me? The tightness in my chest appeared again feeling suffocating.

They made me feel like they were fighting and Gibran made me his escape.

"It's all like this." said Gibran while reading a list written by my grandmother.

"Yes, I paid!"

We then went to pay to the cashier, counting one by one our groceries patiently. After I finished paying, Gibran swiftly carried our heavy groceries while I carried the lightweight grocery bag.

"I'm here to help you if it's heavy" I told Gibran for fear that he would mind carrying two bags of groceries in his hand.

"No need, you just bring the real telor not to break."

"Yes..."

Arriving at the parking lot, Gibran immediately opened the trunk of his car and put all of our groceries there.

I nodded my head in agreement and Gibran began to lead me to the front of the car. His hand held my hand warmly and tightly, he carried that warmth also up to my heart.

Actually I was a little confused by the attitude of Gibran who took me since earlier in the supermarket, usually he just took me in the crowd so we wouldn't go our separate ways but now Gibran is always holding me at every turn.

"Why hold on anyway? I can't possibly say it." I asked while looking at our cluttered hands.

"Why? Don't like it?"

"Well, that's weird."

"Well, how dong, I'm still missing. If I could, I'd hug you all night."

"That's not mode!"

Gibran laughed and rubbed the top of my head gently.

"Yuk ride.." take Gibran while opening the car door for me.

"Gibrans!"

My steps stopped when I was about to enter the car because Ruby was seen running towards us.

"I'm nebeng yes, papa is still a long time" said Ruby after approaching.

Gibran did not answer, he looked at me and made me confused to find the meaning of his gaze.

"Can't you?" ruby asked once again with a face.

"Yes." replied Gibran and Ruby immediately stepped into the car, sitting in the front seat right Gibran opened the door for me.

"Yuk.." asked Ruby, her face looked bright now.

Gibran then closed the door, he looked at me for a moment who just kept my disappointment in check.

"Well in" Gibran said after opening the door in the back seat.

I tried to smile and rushed in, but suddenly I felt lazy to see Ruby sitting inside.

"You guys first, I suddenly got a stomachache" said I who immediately ran out of the parking lot and ignored Gibran's call.

Stomach pain is not a lie because it looks like I'm coming soon for the moon and because there's Gibran, I couldn't buy pads so I went back to the supermarket and bought pads there in a hurry.

With a little confusion looking for the brand of pads I used to wear in the midst of the many rows of brand pads, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry.." I said reflexively when I turned around but then I was stunned to see the person I hit.

The middle-aged man simply smiled in response to my apology then continued his footsteps leaving me who was still frozen in my place.

The man looked similar to my father who had long disappeared despite looking older but the vibe was very strong moreover his face did not change much from the photo I always looked at secretly while missing him except the wrinkles on his face became clearer.

My body suddenly went limp, I almost fell down but someone refuted my body.

"Loe why?"

I turned my head, my tears were no longer blocked when I saw Gibran panting holding my body so as not to fall.

"Why cry? Loe dateng moon?" gibran asked once more but I could not answer him and just kept crying until the man immediately hugged me. Gibran hugged me and rubbed the top of my head to calm me down.

"Look at me, Gibran... There's my dad here but he doesn't know me." My cries were getting broken, my body was shaking violently. The longing I held all my life was mixed with heartbreaking pain.

The fact is that the man didn't recognize me, the fact that I looked foreign in his eyes, when I missed him.

I miss him so much that I don't think of the grudges or wounds my father inflicted on my heart since he never came to see me again.

"He completely forgot about me..."
