Nadine has just dropped out of Nathan's penthouse after a heated argument. Both still maintain their own arguments.
Nathan with his helplessness still lying and yet to return in prime stamina, strictly forbade Nadine's departure to Brazil. But, it's not Nadine's name if it's not stubborn. With or without Nathan's consent, he's leaving.
Looking at the parking area, Nadine could see that her car was ready.
"Nadine....."
When Nadine opens the car door, Adrian suddenly appears and is already sitting sweetly in the passenger seat with crossed legs.
"Adrian.are you here? Said your driver was gonna pick me up?" nadine said as she entered.
"I deliberately followed you here without telling you first.My business was finished sooner than expected. We're leaving now?"
"Where's your car?" nadine asked curiously.
Usually Adrian prefers to drive his own car, although he has a lot of drivers who can be assigned at any time.
"Brought with Ray for monthly service, so we go home to ride this car with the driver. I'm also driving!"
Adrian then ordered the driver to go immediately.
"What about your conversation with Nathan? Everything going well?" ask Adrian.
"Hmm.not as easy as I thought, Brother Nathan still does not agree if I come with you to Rio.." Nadine pursed her lips.
"It's my guess, Nathan couldn't have allowed you to come along. I've also advised you to go to LA with my family, but you refused."
"How many times should I say to you, I don't care.I'll keep coming with you to Rio!" ketus Nadine who now turned her gaze to look out the window glass.
Adrian could only shake.
"Where are we going? The way back to the mansion you will turn right?!" peekkik Nadine's.
"I want to take you somewhere!"
"Where? We haven't packed yet!"
Intentionally, returning from Nathan's penthouse, Nadine was about to climb luggage that wanted to be carried to Brazil. Nadine is the type of woman who is excited when invited to travel. He always wants to be perfect when packing.
"I told you, bring something simple! Clothes don't need to be all brought, can buy there later!"
Nadine finally gave up.
1 hour passed, Adrian stopped his car at a beach house located quite far from the city and the crowd.
The atmosphere is very shady. The smell of clear sea water can be clearly smelled. The breeze that blows hard makes Nadine's long hair fly. The dress worn by Nadine was also slightly blown up.
"Come with me..." Adrian took Nadine's hand to enter the beach house.
"This beach house is yours?" nadine asked as she spread her gaze to look at the interior of the house.
"Yes. I just bought it a month ago" replied Adrian.
Adrian then stepped into the mini bar to grab a cold drink, while Nadine sat herself down on the soft sofa.
"So, what are we doing here?" said Nadine who took a small pillow to put on her lap.
"No idea," replied Adrian flat.
"If you don't know why you brought me here? What purpose?" Nadine furrowed her brows.
"Yes I don't know, I just wanted to bring you here. There has to be a reason?" ketus Adrian as he approached Nadine and put a glass of orange juice on the table.
"Yes, maybe you have something to talk to me about?" nadine said as she played her fingers.
Adrian did not reply again and chose to gulp his drink, then set his eyes on the open sea.
Next to her, Nadine tilted her body and propped up her chin to stare intensely at Adrian. Seen up close like this, Adrian increasingly looks handsome to Nadine.
"Don't look at me like that!" jolt Adrian to break Nadine's daydream.
Adrian is uncomfortable when someone looks at him deeply, even though it is Nadine-his own wife.
"May I ask you something, Adrian?" nadine said carefully.
Both of them were silent for a moment. The mood turned silent. All there was was was the sound of the pounding waves crashing into the coral filling their void.
"What are we both doing?" lirih Nadine's.
"Sit. At the beach house," Adrian raises both shoulders.
Nadine shook her head, "That's not what I mean..I mean, what kind of relationship are we in right now?"
Nadine paused her speech for a moment.
"We've known each other since 4 months ago, when we first met. And not felt, for 3 months long.we are bound in marriage..."
"There are so many things we have been through together. Although at the beginning of our marriage we were both awkward and like strangers, I feel now everything is different. Our relationship is starting to improve, right? We've been comfortable with each other, even we've been doing ist--"
Adrian turned to Nadine at a glance and cut off his words, "I don't understand where you're talking Nadine.don't beat around!"
Nadine sighed, "My question is simple, do you want to give our marriage a chance?"

Adrian's body froze. His tongue felt stiff not knowing what to say. Adrian has no answer to Nadine's question. There is a question mark in Adrian's mind, what makes suddenly ask like this?
While Nadine herself, out of nowhere she got the courage to ask questions about topics that make Adrian sensitive. Eh, love. Nadine felt that her relationship with Adrian had developed. But on the other hand, there is a feeling of emptiness there.
Honestly, Nadine had long been curious to discuss the clarity of their relationship. The more here, Nadine is getting carried away with the feeling of being beside Adrian continuously. Intensive meetings between the two are almost every day, making Nadine impossible if not in love with the figure of Adrian.
"Isn't everything clear in the contract? From the beginning, I've warned you not to mix personal feelings into our covenant! After 2 years of marriage, we will be separated. That's deal!" Adrian began to raise his voice.
"Then what about those of us who have already had a husband and wife relationship! It's not in the contract, but we've breached Adrian!" nadine won't lose.
"It won't change anything.we do it also on the basis of liking! Then why are you suing him?
"What if I'm pregnant?" Nadine expressed her concern.
While performing the unification, Adrian never used safety. Nadine also did not take birth control pills or install contraceptives. That's why Nadine wants certainty.
"You're not going to get pregnant!" adrian said with great emphasis.
"That might happen.we do it often! And when we make love, you don't even use safety.akupun also not KB, so that's possible!" Nadine debates.
"What do you really want now?" challenge Adrian.
Nadine tucked her hair behind her ear,
"Can we forget all those contracts and start a new life? We start from 0, build a proper household without the shadow of that 2-year contract."
Adrian grimaced, "I don't want to renege on the deal we made at the beginning. I want to be consistent in my stance."
"So what Adrian? There are many promises you have broken! You once said to me, if you ever swore to never get married, in fact you married me right? So what's the difference?"
"Therefore, I will not repeat the same mistake!" Adrian is stubborn.
"Was we spent time together, you didn't feel like there was anything different about Adrian? Are there not a few seeds of love among us?" nadine's eyes began to glaze over.
"I've never loved and don't want to be loved either" Adrian turned his eyes away. She could not see Nadine crying.
Nadine approached Adrian and cupped his face gently.
"Just look at me..look into my eyes.." - Nadine rubbed Adrian's face gently.
Adrian lowered his head and released both of Nadine's hands which were on his cheeks.
"We're going home now! Tomorrow morning we fly to Rio, you say you want to pack? I'll wait in the car.."
Adrian immediately went and ignored Nadine who was still pensive on the sofa, lamenting what had just happened.
"Hiks..."
Nadine sobs. In the end, his cries broke as well. His heart ached after a rejection from Adrian. So worthless is Nadine that Adrian does not want to give their marriage a chance to be happy?
