ANOTHER THREAT

This weekend, Nadine took the time to go to the supermarket for monthly shopping and daily necessities. It could have been if he had sent a waiter in his house, but he didn't want to.

Nadine wants refreshing all of you, because she is bored at home. Adrian busy at the office makes it rare to take Nadine traveling everywhere.

"Thank you Jun, you're going to take Brother with you today. The same bodyguard should be enough." said Nadine.

At the back there are already 4 bodyguards that follow it for control.

"No, you can't Sis, the danger is that Nadine is shopping alone even though there is a bodyguard. Brother Ian's enemies are everywhere, it's risky to let your brother go unattended!" reply Arjuna.

"The fierce sister's husband will nag me and the sisters if we fail!" tukas Arjuna again.

Adrian initially disagrees with Nadine going out for safety reasons as well as her pregnancy. But because Nadine insisted forcefully, finally Adrian sent Arjuna who was on vacation to accompany Nadine shopping. That way he'll calm down a little.

Nadine chuckled softly at Arjuna's chattering. "Adrian is cheating! He should be the one who accompanied brother, he was brother's husband. But even you're bothered."

Nadine bertehem. "If Adrian could be so sweet like you, maybe you'd be the happiest woman!"

"Great Brother Nadine can feel at home with Brother Ian who every day his face is serious and stiff so tense!"

Nadine glanced at Arjuna and thought a little. "Oh yeah? Brother just found out. Adrian because he rarely talks about Naomi with me."

Arjuna immediately realized that release spoke. She shouldn't have carried Naomi's name in their discussion. Arjuna was afraid Nadine was offended and wrongly jealous.

"June, that's the past. Naomi was calm up there, nothing to worry about. Instead Brother is happy you want a story, sometimes I like to be curious. Adrian is too mysterious!" said Nadine while entering two cereal boxes from her favorite brand.

"Not much I actually know. Sister Naomi is not so close to us, unlike Brother Nadine who can directly enter the family circle. Never known, never brought to the house or major events, anyway the status is secret."

"Is that so, really?" Nadine laughed. "Not wrong, too, because we married him suddenly."

"Sister Nadine can tell you from where to conquer Brother Ian? He did not want to marry and have children. Uh now there's even a wife, plus there's a baby on the way in the belly!"

Laughter came out of the mouths of both. Their conversation continued with various other discussions that are classified as random while choosing the items to be purchased.

Nadine and Arjuna were so swept away in the chat that they were unaware that from across the supermarket aisle, two women and a man were observing the interaction between the two.

"Sister, I'm going there first and find my favorite biscuits and snacks and Athena. It feels good, you have to try it later!"

"Yes, I'll wait here.." Nadine nodded.

Shortly after Arjuna covered the hallway next door in search of his favorite snack, Nadine was suddenly surprised by the presence of Adrian who had just come from behind.

Fuhh..

"Good God!" Nadine dropped the thing she was holding. "You're surprised to know! Who I thought it was!" Nadine stroked her chest that was pounding.

Not without reason Nadine was shocked. The amount of crime that befell them, making Nadine a little parno.

Adrian himself only replied with a careless smile while grinning and then kissed Nadine's forehead at a glance.

"Why are you here? Isn't there a meeting?" nadine asked, tilting her head.

"You don't like me coming?" Adrian with his formal appearance was standing gallantly in front of Nadine. Both hands were put in a bag of pants.

Nadine gave a smile as she held on outside the edge of Adrian's suit. "Yes happy! It's really nice, I'm beyond happy that you're coming. I didn't expect you until you came here!"

"Meeting is done. That's why I can approach you here." Adrian spread his gaze to the left. "Where's arjuna? Why did he leave you alone?"

"He's in the hallway next door, grab a snack he said!"

"Also, you should go with him and not be alone like this!"

"And there are 4 person bodyguards in the back, what is still lacking?"

"Bodyguards are not too close to you. They watch from afar so as not to attract a lot of attention. Different from Arjuna who must be near you." Adrian threw his face and clucked in annoyance.

"Come by already nagging! Yes, this is again!" Arjuna grunted and immediately put some snacks he was holding onto the push trolley.

"Paid the groceries now. We have to leave this place immediately" said Adrian emphatically.

"Why? I'm not done yet, it's still halfway through. I haven't bought any toiletries!" reply Nadine.

"It can be back tomorrow. Or let the waiter at home who shop if there is less. You're pregnant, it's not good to be too tired." Adrian's face turned serious.

"Adrian stage..this is all here!" nadine whine.

Adrian refuted, "Nadine said, I will not repeat it again. Go home now,"

Adrian orders one of his bodyguards to take Nadine's grocery trolley to the cashier and pay for it. "Let him take care of your groceries, we're going straight to the parking lot right now."

Seeing Adrian's movements are a little suspicious, Arjuna can conclude if something is wrong here. There must be something that causes Adrian to suddenly come to the supermarket.

Arjuna knew very well that Adrian could not have bothered with this if it was just an ordinary thing. Adrian is the type of person who likes to move quickly in overcoming problems that concern family matters or loved ones.

With a quick step, Adrian took Nadine's hand out of the supermarket, with Arjuna trailing behind with all three bodyguards. The three go hand in hand with their heads lowered on Adrian's orders to be unknown to the public.

"Adrian, do you want to be honest with me? Why do we have to go out this way?" nadine asked as they all got into the car safely.

"I can't answer it now. The most important thing is your safety. It was in the supermarket, there were two people stalking you and Arjuna."

"Who's Brother?" Arjuna.

"Valerie and Sean, Nadine's ex-boyfriend." Adrian replied. "Our Bodyguards reported it to me, which is why I came to pick you up."

Nadine took a deep breath and leaned her body behind the seat. "Why are they still bothering!"

"Maybe Sean was hurt to see the happiness of you two Brother, didn't Sean really love the last Brother Nadine I heard? Valerie still loves Ian!" Arjuna.

Arjuna's theory makes sense. Valerie and Sean are a collection of heartache lines due to their unattainable goals. Valerie can't get Adrian's love, neither can Sean.

Last time, Valerie came to Mama Diana's house crying for forgiveness. In fact it is just a mere booze, aka crocodile tears.

While Sean, of course he will demand revenge after Adrian threw his father-David, into prison and bankrupted his family business.
