"It looks like it's safe, they're not following our car anymore!" Ray occasionally looked back to check if they were still being followed or not.

"But we still take the rat's way, Ray, I'm still not sure!" exclamation Adrian.

"Okay, ready..."

Ray bends the car to pass through a fairly small and narrow road. In terms of appearance, the street was not convincing, but Nadine entrusted it all to Adrian and Ray.

"Drink this..!!" Adrian gave Nadine a bottle of mineral water she took from inside the dashboard.

From the look on his face, Adrian can see that Nadine is still shocked by the incident just now. That's why Nadine paled a little. Naturally, perhaps he had never encountered anything strange before.

Nadine immediately straight up the drinking water until it runs out without rest. The depleted effect of running down the emergency stairs made him thirsty as well apparently.

"What apartment do you live in is it deserted?" ask Adrian.

"Said my friend who rented it, on the floor that I lived it was actually available 6 rooms. Only 2 rooms are inhabited. The room on my left right was empty, so it was practically deserted! He said, the apartment manager was also a little apathetic" replied Nadine.

When there was an incident of broken window of the apartment room, no one around reacted. Though the sound is quite loud, considering that the thrown is a big stone.

Even a group of intruders could easily gain access and make Nadine almost kidnapped. But on the other hand Adrian also thought that everything that could have happened was already planned.

"If it's like that, it's also free you ask for help with security earlier.There is definitely no end-of-end handling!!" adrian Sahut.

Nadine could only gulp her saliva hearing a poignant remark from Adrian's mouth.

"Why did you choose to live there?" Adrian asked back.

"My house is in the process of being investigated by the police, so I need a temporary residence quickly! Then there was my office friend who offered to rent his apartment, so yes we agreed to transact" explained Nadine.

As previously explained, the apartment residence does belong to Nadine's office friend. The rental system was paid per year and happened to have been repaid at the beginning. But not for a year, his friend has decided to move.

The apartment's own tenancy runs out this month. Instead of losing money unused in the recent lease, finally his friend Nadine offered the place to be rented by Nadine who was in need of a place to stay. A kind of symbiotic mutualism.

"Where are we going, by the way?" Nadine looked at her right-hand side.

It's been about 20 minutes, but there's no sign of stopping.

"Look at it later!!" adrian said in a cold tone.

Shortly after, the car driven by Ray began to enter the area of the country house. It seems clear that there are many trees that grow shady around the streets. The air feels fresh and cool even though it's daytime.

Even more interesting, the houses in this area are far from one house to another. Every homeowner has enough privacy. The atmosphere is quite calming...

The three of them finally arrived and stopped right in front of a simple-style house. While waiting for Ray to drop off the suitcases in the trunk, Adrian invites Nadine to go inside first.

Entering the tiny house, Nadine was quite impressed with the interior. Simple, minimalist, with a little classic twist. The size of the house is not large even though 2 floors, the concept of this house falls like Tiny House more or less. But about comfort, this is not to be doubted because the house is classified as homie and friendly.

"The house is good..You two live here?"

"Yes, we both live here" Adrian lied.

This house was rented by Ray about an hour ago at Adrian's request. Simultaneously after he put Nadine's suitcases into the trunk while in the parking lot of the apartment earlier. So just like Nadine, Adrian and Ray just set foot in this little house now.

This was deliberately done by Adrian, with the reason because he did not want his identity and background to be known more deeply by Nadine. What he wants, Nadine knows him as Adrian ordinary people.not Adrian Natadipura who incidentally is a CEO and business tycoon with many multinational companies everywhere. The fewer facts Nadine knows about her, the better.

Naturally Nadine thought like that, because the fact Adrian and Ray's relationship is only limited to superiors and personal assistants.

"We met it in a formal style. It became a distinctive feature for our friendship."

Speaking of friends, Adrian himself never had a specific close friend. He is a typical antisocial person and does not like to socialize. There used to be one person who was quite close to him when he was in college. But since graduation day, they've lost contact.

Adrian and Nadine are sitting on the sofa in the living room to talk.

"Can I borrow your car in the afternoon?"

My car is still in my friend's house and has not been taken. This area seems difficult if you want to order a taxi online.so can I borrow your car for a while?"

Nadine was anxious when she would hear Adrian's answer. Somehow seeing the figure of the man in front of him made him afraid. Moreover, Adrian's face is very difficult to guess. But clearly, it seems Adrian is still considering Nadine's request.
