"I'm nervous.this is the first time I've come to an event like this!" nadine's palms were sweating.

"Close your hand on my arm!" adrian said. Nadine then gripped tightly on his arm.

"Remember that you are my wife in the eyes of the world, act like that throughout the event. Keep smiling and put a friendly face on everyone."

"It seems like everyone is staring at us?" Nadine rolled her gaze around and grimaced forcing her smile.

"They're just curious about us. Usually I never take women to big events. So this is our first public appearance as a couple after getting married almost a month ago."

Nadine's left hand held her stomach. "I feel nauseous!"

Adrian and Nadine turned to look at each other. The netra of the two were tethered tightly to each other.

"Don't ruin my plan this time. Remember what I said in the car. Look at 9 o'clock, Sean's there. You have to move fast!" Adrian whispering.

"Wish me luck.." replied Nadine.

Unexpectedly Adrian suddenly kissed the top of Nadine's head. "All the best!" he said briefly while stroking his right cheek with a gentle hand gesture.

Then Adrian left to launch their other plans.

Nadine's heart rippled because she had just received a sweet treatment from Adrian which she rarely received. He even smiled at himself thinking about it.

The sight did not escape the eyes of Sean Malik-Santoso, Nadine's former lover who had been eyeing Nadine since she entered the ballroom.

"Hello Nadine..?!" as planned..Sean was apparently hooked.

Nadine felt no need to bother to approach him first. "Oh.hi Sean."

"I accidentally saw you coming with Adrian Natadipura. Is he... the guy?" sean asked carefully.

"Yes..Adrian Natadipura is my husband."

Like being hit by thousands of beach waves, Nadine's statement just pierced Sean's heart through the heart to the roots. This woman he loved so much belonged to someone else now.

"Are you serious, Nad?!" Sean still can't believe it.

"100% serious."

Sean's eyes turned pushy staring at the departure of the woman he loved was already seen far out of reach. Unlike Nadine who does not flinch at all. Her brief reunion with Sean had no effect on her.

Sean is just a piece of the past. Love and love are left. There are only scratches of heart wounds that still feel impregnated.

A hand pulled Nadine's body as she was about to go to the bathroom.

"Jeez Adrian.you're surprised to know that you're not!"

Nadine nodded. Again he and Adrian walked together as they joined hands to enter the elevator.

The room that Adrian ordered was on the top floor and was private. Not many people rent rooms on that floor.

Arriving there, the two walked down the hall to find their room number. Adrian only booked one room, because he didn't intend to sleep tonight. Let Nadine rest, he thought.

However, their footsteps had to come to a halt when they heard a commotion in the corner. Adrian, who realized that, pointed his index finger at Nadine's lips as a sign to keep his mouth shut.

"Shhtt.." whispered Adrian.

"LOOSE YOU!"

Before long the sound of gunshots and the sound of someone's snapping sounded.

"Adrian I'm afraid.that's what?!" nadine's body trembled.

"True I said, you're not afraid yet!" adrian Ejek.

There was a firefight between Adrian and the five men in suits earlier. Nadine chooses to hide behind a wall, she tries to send Ray a message for help.

"Arghhh.." because a little careless.Calf legs Adrian hit by a missed opponent's shot. Adrian also returned their action and opened fire again until the five men finally fell floundering.

Feeling the condition was safe, Adrian called Nadine's name a little screaming from behind the wall.

"Nad..Nadine.." she shrieked in a hoarse voice.

"Jeez Adrian.your feet!!" nadine's body crouched to the floor and immediately limp to see the amount of blood coming out of Adrian's legs.

"Well, I'm going to room.number 802" Adrian said.

"Okay..." Nadine helps Adrian to get up and puts Adrian's arm around his neck.

The two rushed away from the scene of the crime, as if nothing had happened.

This is the third time Nadine has treated and treated Adrian who was injured in a fight with an opponent. He was already almost invulnerable and calmer to deal with it even though the remnants of tension still lingered. Nadine was really afraid something bad happened to Adrian.

"Who else is that? Why do we always have to look at it! You're hurt again!!" Nadine suddenly mellow saw Adrian's wound.

The atmosphere turned cold and silent. No more interaction between the two. They both choose to be quiet and sit in bed without knowing what to do.

Long pensive in their respective daydreams, now they are back in a face-to-face clash. And suddenly, Adrian cupped the nape of Nadine's head and grabbed her lips as fast as lightning.

Nadine's body froze. His heart is pumped up and down. Although he was stunned by what Adrian did, apparently Nadine could not resist it. Nadine reciprocated Adrian's treatment by holding the right-left side of his handsome face.

Adrian can no longer hold his soul that has been ignited burning passion. She gave Nadine her soft lips with a loving touch. Adrian pulled Nadine's hip to get closer and no longer leave a distance.

They kiss each other back, devour each other's lips, and link together a passionate romance as if there were no tomorrow.
