"Are any of you willing to speak honestly?" nadine's eyes turned sharp, alternating glances at Adrian and Arjuna who were completely unwilling to respond.

The atmosphere of the dining room turned tense. In just a matter of seconds, it is not impossible that Nadine will be angry and take out all her uncles that are entrenched in her heart.

"Why silence? Answer me Adrian..Why can your hand be hurt? Where did you end up?" nadine said with great emphasis.

Adrian grabs Nadine's hand, intending to calm her down. "I'll explain later. We can talk to each other in the room. We'd better enjoy eating the mall"

Nadine cuts Adrian's speech. "Arjuna, please tell Brother! What just happened to you guys?" nadine's view turned to her sister-in-law.

Arjuna chose to be silent and did not dare to raise his head to face Nadine. He didn't have enough guts to accept the death scolding from his sister-in-law. During pregnancy, Nadine's ferocity increased more than Adrian's violence. That is the power held by a Nadine.

"Okay.if none of you want to explain right now, why am I here! Excuse me." Nadine stomped her feet violently and immediately got out of the chair to return to the room.

Adrian rubbed his face in frustration while condemning his own carelessness that forgot to cover his hand wounds. Nadine's back seemed to be getting farther away so that it widened the distance.

"Where dong Kak, that's Nadine's sister!" Arjuna sounded panicked. The spoon and fork he was holding instantly crashed just like that.

"Let it be a big brother's business. You just continue with the dinner."

"Seriously so? Don't want me to be alone? Maybe I can help explain it to Nadine."

"Take the food. Less can be added." Adrian knows very well if his sister likes to eat in large portions. "So, I'm not going to go to my room to see Nadine. The business can be long if he keeps sulking."

Adrian hurriedly got up from his seat and caught up with Nadine, leaving the dining room area.

Adrian reached out his hand without a sound. He complied with the reason of not wanting to make Nadine's mood deteriorate. Without wanting to linger, Nadine cleaned the dry blood that was attached to the trunk area of Adrian's hand up to his wrist.

After that, he put a red medicine that was bottled with cotton so that the wound was not infected. And finally, Nadine wrapped it with sterile gauze and plaster bandages to cover the wound. If viewed at a glance is actually not too severe, but when observed in detail the scratch is quite long and deep.

"No. I'm sure that your wounds are not just in your hands! Take off your shirt right now, or I'll get mad at Adrian."

"Kelvin's.." Adrian paused his speech for a moment. "Kelvin did it. He told some people to stalk my car while Arjuna and I were on their way home. We were stopped and ended up fighting."

"Keep..have they been arrested? What do they want?" Nadine flocked Adrian with questions that popped out of her head.

"Everything's sorted out. The robbers have been arrested and secured. Ray took care of it. I don't know for sure what their motives are. I'm gonna find out after this by interrogating the gangsters."

"You and Arjuna are okay, right? Arjuna was hurt? I want to check it out now..." Nadine was about to stand up but was arrested by Adrian.

"Call down first? Me and Arjuna are okay. The proof is that we got home safely. If there's anything, you won't be able to meet me."

Nadine closed her eyes while holding her head that was getting dizzy. "Oh my God, how long will this end Adrian? Didn't you promise that our family will be far from peril?"

"Just now we can escape from Galih. Now Kelvin.tomorrow what?" complained Nadine who is not strong to face the problems that always befall them.

Adrian raised his hand to touch Nadine's cheek, giving a soothing gentle swab. "I'm sorry that you had to get dragged into my weird problem. I promise I'll get this done as soon as I can."

"You should also promise to always be okay Adrian. Please don't act recklessly. I am pregnant and soon to give birth. I need you to accompany me during the labor process."

"I never ask for grandiose, I just want you to come home healthy and safe. Please Adrian, if you don't want to obey me, at least do this for your son! Both of our children need their Daddy." said Nadine who cried as she pleased.

"Hey.stop crying!" Adrian pulled Nadine's body into his arms that were not too tight because it was blocked by Nadine's distended stomach.

"I'll be fine, Nad.." as much as possible Adrian convinced Nadine not to worry.

"I'm afraid Adrian.I'm afraid you're gone! I've lost Dad. I don't want to feel the same thing a second time."

Adrian kept peeping Nadine's head and gave her warm caresses. "You know very well that I would never accept Nadine's defeat. Trust your husband. I can handle Kelvin."

"Promise?" Nadine breaks out their embrace and thrusts her little finger.

Adrian could only shake his head and laugh softly. "I promise."

"Not this pain? I hugged you earlier.." Nadine felt a wound in Adrian's stomach. He was very afraid that their embrace had pressed against the wound.

"No. I'm used to this." said Adrian lightly.

Nadine was not surprised anymore, because every time she treated Adrian, her husband never grimaced in pain. His expression was always flat as if nothing had happened.

"Now tell me, what do you want? I will follow your request, so that you will not be sad again. Ask anything, I'll do it.free!" Adrian made an offer.

"Seriously?" Nadine scrunched her forehead in disbelief.

"100 percent serious. After all, you never crave. So just tell me what you want before I change my mind..."

"All right!" Nadine smiled wickedly as she was planning something to prank Adrian.
