BRINGING NADINE TO MANSION

Adrian and Nadine are already in Ray's pickup car after meeting at a major crossroads. Nadine, who was exhausted from running and other factors, immediately fell asleep in the backseat.

"Do we need to go to the hospital, sir?" seeing Adrian's injured hand made Ray feel pain himself.

"No need, we go straight to the mansion!"

"To the mansion sir? Bring Miss Nadine?" Ray's shocked.

"Whoa.mau how else! You think I'm gonna leave him? There's no place safe anymore than in the mansion."

"That's not so, sir, it's just that I thought about how your family would react!! If Mr. Alan and Mrs Diana found out, Mr. Adrian brought Miss Nadine to the mansion."

"Let them all know. Nothing will be covered anymore, I'll introduce Nadine to my family as a wife."

"Seriously sir?" adrian's statement further added to his shock.

"When have I ever joked? I'm serious!" press Adrian.

Ray gulped his saliva roughly. "Aren't you in a hurry, sir? Miss Nadine would be surprised to learn the real identity of you."

"I've calculated everything Ray! Life disguised as yesterday-yesterday even made Nadine in a dangerous situation. At the very least, if everyone knew she was my wife, people would think twice about teasing her."

Nadine's jaw dropped down. He couldn't believe what Adrian had just said. Her house? Isn't Adrian just a bodyguard? And that simple house that they previously occupied was his original home? Then why is it like this?

"You go straight to Ray's office, represent me for today's meeting. I'll take care of Nadine first..."

"Okay sir, I say goodbye first.let's Miss Nadine." said Ray kindly.

Nadine is getting clumsy. "Ehh.i-yeah.."

"Why did Ray suddenly call me Mom? Yesterday Miss..now Mom, I am old what?" nadine murmured in the heart.

"Come in.." take Adrian.

Nadine approached Adrian and wrapped her hands around the burly arm.

Adrian glanced at his arm held by Nadine. "Gapain you?"

"Yes this.again hold you!! Why emang?" Nadine had started to be brave and did not feel awkward anymore to Adrian.

"Who says you can hold my hand like this! Don't fuck around, let's go!"

"Could it.can yes, we are husband and wife so legitimately dong if this is the case. It's also a new place for me, I'm afraid.." Nadine uses her face to plead with Adrian.

"Adrian...?!!" father Alan's greeting was waiting for him on the sofa accompanied by Mama Diana.

Papa Alan and Mama Diana's gaze was fixed on the figure of the woman who stood opposite Adrian. Their eyes also could not be separated from Nadine's hand that was coiled in Adrian's arm.

Obtaining the order, they immediately withdrew and rushed towards the back pavilion.

"Who is the woman next to you, Ian?" asked Papa Alan who felt familiar with Nadine's face. They had met but forgot where.

The same goes for Nadine. He still remembered very well who this middle-aged couple that was in front of him was. They were the parents of the two girls Nadine had helped while at the beach, and it turns out that now they are her in-laws, aka Adrian's parents.

Means, the one he helped back then.is his younger brothers Adrian?!!! Nadine was suddenly nervous.

It never crossed his mind to meet his in-laws in such an awkward situation. Before marriage and during marriage, Adrian never discussed anything about his family background. Every time he was asked, he always switched the conversation.

"Can you please explain to Papa and Mama..What happened?"

Adrian glanced at Nadine for a moment.

"Me and Nadine got married on the 5th yesterday.about 2-3 weeks ago. We got married in a simple church, which was not attended by any guest. There's only Ray and Roni, two employees in my office, who act as witnesses."

Papa Alan and Mama Diana looked at each other. Slowly they began to digest the news information conveyed Adrian.

"Why did you marry Nadine so suddenly? Is it not.your wife, s-have..?"

"No Pah..Nadine is not pregnant. Our marriage was purely on our own will."

"really?" Papa Alan held great suspicion towards his son.

How not, all this time Adrian has always been strongly opposed to marriage. Close to a woman she is allergic to. But now, he decided to get married?

"Yes Pah..Adrian is an adult, this is the right time for Adrian to build a family and open a new life. Adrian hope, Papa can accept this decision."

"Honestly, Papa was happy that you were married. Papa is so happy! It's just, Papa is quite disappointed with you not even wanting to tell me about your marriage to Papa, Mama, and your sisters.."
