"You believe me?"
Nadine weighed in on Adrian's remarks. Not that he didn't want to believe it, it was just that when he saw the gun in Adrian's hand. But back again, there is no other choice but to trust Adrian?
So far Adrian is the one who has always existed as a savior. Moreover, Adrian has been kind enough to bear all the needs of clothing, food, and top of himself.
"This is not the time to think about Nadine! If you want us to succeed, the key is you have to trust me."
Nadine agreed.
"Then you hold this!" Adrian pulled out a small gun again from the safe box attached to the wall earlier.
"Geez..how many are there in there?" inner Nadine.
"But k-kk-why should? You have to hold it. Do I have to?"
"For self-protection. We never know what's going to happen, so just in case."
As much as possible Nadine neutralized his thoughts. This was the first time he had held such a dangerous object in his life.
"What you're holding is a kind of semi-automatic. First of all, you must check whether the gun is loaded with bullets or not. Make sure the safety is active."
Adrian begins to demonstrate how the use of weapons held by Nadine.
"You see that, the bullet's already loaded! How to charge the ammunition by pressing this button to release the magazine, then enter the sleeve. Lock the back position with the button on the side. That way the gun is ready to use!" adrian clear.
"If you have, move the top of the gun backwards or slide. When the hammer is attached, hold it. This hammer will form pressure so that the bullet is pushed out. Pull the cork back. Then press the trigger with your index finger. Bullets are coming out!" continued.
Despite explaining it hastily, Nadine began to understand what to do. He himself is a fan of action films, so at least Nadine is quite familiar with the basics even though he never practices it directly.
DORR....DORR
BRAKKKIS...BRAKKK
The front door had been broken into by an intruder whose grudging sound was heard earlier. Gunfire after gunfire echoed and filled the entire house.
"We're going through the back door. Where are your cell phone and wallet?"
"There's in the pocket of these jeans I'm wearing."
"Good, it makes it easy for us to quickly go. Come on.." Adrian took Nadine's hand.
For Nadine's important documents, there's no need to worry. Because all of that has been kept in the bank on Adrian's advice. So that when there is an urgent situation like this, they can just leave right away.
The footsteps of both of them were deliberately slowed down. They were both crawling on the wall like lizards. There was not much they could do because his position was currently surrounded.
"Adrian I'm afraid." Nadine's eyes glazed over. From the grasp of his hand, Adrian could tell if Nadine was trembling.
Adrian cupped Nadine's face. "Hey.look into my eyes.we can do this!" (See my eyes.we can do this!)
Like getting an injection of spirit, Nadine nods her head after Adrian reassures her. The hands of both of them re-locked, and now tighter.
The sneaking action they did finally led them to the back door, without being seen by the intruders.
Apparently, their escape path was not very smooth. The intruders who had surrounded their house were now chasing them behind. The Begundals did not give up chasing Adrian and Nadine.
If their boss knew that the catch was hazy and detached, then they would not be able to sleep well. Be prepared for a famous rampage and not get compensation.
"Hoy.. free you two run.I will definitely catch, hahahahaha!!!"
The threat that was thrown from their mouths made Nadine even more panicked. What if it's reality? The number of them more and more will not be able to fight. It will be outnumbered!
"Where are you running, huh? Really rushed?"
Nadine's fear happened too. The intruders finally stopped them. Each of them carried a gun pointed at Adrian and Nadine.
"What do you want?" Adrian put on his cold face, while the frightened Nadine increasingly tightened the hug on Adrian's arm.
"Give Aaron's flash disk and hard disk to us..."
The mood changed quietly. No one is talking.
"Gue is not a statue! Answer!!!" he shouted while pressing the tip of the gun to Adrian's temple.
Again Adrian did not touch it. The pressure they exerted had no effect on him at all. He deliberately provoked their anger. Allowing them to continue speaking without answering a single question.
Who do they think they are? Adrian is not a stupid man who easily gives the flash and hard drive to his enemy even in a cornered state though. Moreover, the existence of the secret object has been secured elsewhere. He's not holding it now.
The gang of criminals turned to each other and whispered. They're like planning something so Adrian and Nadine don't shut up. It was well used by Adrian.
With a quick movement, Adrian dismisses the weapons held by the enemy and turns to beat them. Nadine, looking for safety, chose to spare her body from the dispute.
Nadine felt helpless. He could only see the commotion before his eyes without being able to help.
One by one, the criminals began to fall. Adrian was able to knock them all out with his bare hands. There were fainting, injuries, even broken bones. Out of nowhere the martial ability he had to make Nadine so impressive.
When Adrian thought that it was all over, suddenly from behind someone wanted to stab him in the back with a dagger.
Nadine who noticed that from a distance immediately had the initiative to pick up the available wooden bars nearby. He violently dealt the blow to the enemy...
BUGH..BUGH....
As a result of Nadine's devastating blow, the man was weakly sprawled until his head was bleeding.
"That was a good shot.!!" (that's a good blow) praise Adrian who is waist-running while adjusting his breathing.
PRAKKKN...
The wooden bar had slipped out of Nadine's hand.
"Did I just hit him?!" nadine asked in disbelief.
"Let's go now!"
Without getting tired after fighting, Adrian pulled Nadine's hand and took her to run fast. He completely ignored the wounds on his arm.
This time, no one else followed in their footsteps behind. All those criminals are gone. A sense of relief approached Nadine, at least for now, because she did not know what they would face in the future.
