ADRIAN'S CONFESSION (Part 1)

"What do you want?" ask Nadine loudly.

The taxi driver did not answer. He even smiled grinningly showing his demeanor. Afterwards, the driver smothered Nadine's mouth, pressing her so strongly that Nadine was almost out of breath.

"Let Me Go!!" Nadine screamed trying to escape.

"Silent!! Stop being a rebel or I will give you a lesson..."

"Please, I want to know.please explain!" Nadine pleads. "Does this have anything to do with Naomi?"

"Where do you know about Naomi?" Adrian glanced at Nadine with a dislike look.

"I've heard her name mentioned when Valerie came to Mama's house." Nadine reasoned.

She couldn't possibly reveal the secret that it was Mama Diana who had told her about the background of Naomi and Adrian's relationship in the past.

"There's a lot I want to ask you Adrian, and I want you to answer honestly!"

Adrian snorted, "Ask it. But whatever you hear later, I hope you're not disappointed. I warned him."

"I'm ready." replied Nadine steadily.

The two of them were both dissolved in a long silence before Nadine finally opened her voice.

"Who's Naomi? Why is it that every time there's a discussion about Naomi, your face always turns tense?" ask Nadine.

Despite knowing the truth, Nadine still wanted to hear it directly from Adrian's mouth.

"My ex-lover. But he's dead in an accident." Adrian let go of their clasped hands.

"Maybe, but not completely. This is more of an inner problem that exists within myself. The trauma and fear I had experienced long before I knew Naomi, because I had a problem with mental health. I suffered from PTSD," Adrian lowered his head.
