Second Road

Second Road
Episode 31: The freak

"Then do you know who did it?" ask Allen.

"So, I don't know yet. At that time, there were about eight people who helped me work on it there. I can't just go around accusing someone, can I?" obviously grandpa.

"Then what now? Is it okay like this?" my many.

This news made me think of many things. Anything can happen, even if I thought before that everything would go smoothly. And this is what I got. Bingo! done already.

"Maybe it's okay, what can be done. But for sure, we will soon know who did it, no need to worry, if you really want to grow soon, I will work on it again," explained grandfather.

I bowed my head, digesting the sentence Grandpa had just thrown. Nobody knows who took it and nobody knows what might happen next.

"The most important thing is you. You sure you're okay, right? There's a lot of material in it. If you feel like something's up, just say it, "grandpa added.

I nodded slowly, reciting the sentence. There's not much to do about this. Well, what can I do.

"The conversation is over? My cooking is cold. Want to eat or not?" Allen cut our conversation immediately.

I went straight to the dining table form. I sat in the chair I used to sit in, and so did our grandfather and Allen, our chef who's been crazy about cooking these days.

As always, the food Allen made never disappoints. Everything seemed to glitter on each side, persuading anyone to eat it immediately.

If food has a mouth, then they will say, "Hey, eat me. There's nothing to lose if you eat me."

And thankfully I never heard food talk. Instead of being hungry, I would lose my appetite.

"Eh, dinner this time you cook fish? And this one is fried? Aren't you afraid of frying fish?" chirp me as soon as I realize there's something different tonight.

That's right, the fried fish draped with red sambal looks tantalizing. Ah, but it looks spicy, can I eat it? I've never been able to get along with spicy food so far.

"Hmm? I told you, I can make anything. If it's just frying fish, it's not a big thing. I just need to fight a little bit" explained Allen proudly.

"He~ I'm so sorry to sleep all day. I'm sure you yelled when you turned the fish. I wish I could see you doing it," my god with a mischievous smile.

I grabbed the porcelain plate that was in front of me, then took the rice and put it on the plate with my heart. The rice is still hot, steam coming out of each grain.

"You're starting to suck huh. Wait a minute, I'll make you cry. And when that happens, I'll record your red, tear-filled face, I'll laugh at you for life" Allen said.

I just laughed a little. What could he do to make me cry? That would never happen, he would never be able to do it.

Tok tok tok tok

Not long after, there was a sound of knocking on the door in between the loud twang of spoons and plates. Looks like someone's coming. Who would want to visit at a time like this?

"Let me open" I said as I got up from my chair, leaving the dining table.

I ran for a small run towards the front door. The sound of knocking on the door was still heard several times, the knocker seemed to have important business, to the point of not stopping knocking on the door. Or maybe he likes to do it.

As soon as I arrived, I pulled the door hinge slowly. Then the door opened, someone was standing there.

That person was a young man, he looked at me in wonder as soon as the door opened wide. His body was tall, black-haired and a bit random. His eyes looked slightly swollen with dark circles around him. Maybe he's sleep deprived?

If I was brash, I'd call his appearance a tramp. How not? His hair was random shuffling and his clothes were shabby like they had not been ironed out, very unkempt.

He also carried a large backpack, like a child who had just run away from home due to a fight with family or a problem.

But, as soon as I saw the good watch he wore in his left hand and the smartphone he had in his grasp, I immediately threw away all those thoughts.

"H-hello?" I swore at the man.

He was silent for a moment while watching me. Is there something wrong with me?

"You... who?" lirih.

Hmm.I'm like I've been in a situation like this before. Why does everyone always ask me who every time I open the door? Allen was at that time, too.

But on this occasion, I'm sure the same thing won't happen again. It's different, I'm sure he's not Allen's brother, because Allen admits he doesn't have a brother or a cousin.

"Haru, why so long?"

Allen came, he came to me who was staring at the door, he checked who was coming.

"Ha! Finally met! Why are you always so happy?! Don't make me take care of everything! I also have a life of tau!"

The man was instantly enraged indistinctly at Allen upon seeing him. But unfortunately, Allen's face looks unconcerned, it looks like they know each other. But who is he?

"Haru, just close the door. Just ignore him" Allen ordered.

"But.he.." I hesitated.

"I've had a hard time coming here and this is what I got?! I hope you just disappear from civilization, why did God create a creature like you?! This is not fair!" his screams.

"Already, just close the door, Haru," Allen said.

The man standing at the door looked even more upset, he cared nothing, and immediately slipped into our house. Still wearing shoes, he stepped on the floor so that the white ceramic floor was dirty.

"Woy, blondie! You're not listening to me?!" yelled the man.

"Stop calling me blonde, you tangled yarn!" reply Allen.

"You're the most disgusting playboy in the world!"

"You're the saddest single I've ever known!"

"I'm not single! I'm single and I'm not pathetic, you blonde!"

"Stop calling me blonde, you tangled yarn don't do any good!"

"Who do you think you are?! Blonde playboy shitty, you can still wander around like this because of me, you know!"

"I don't need the help of a matted singles like you!"

So, the inevitable fight was finally broken between the blonde playboy and the tangled yarn did not sell. I can't do anything now.

But it's quite nice to see them fighting like this, it's funny. Maybe I have a bit of a demon soul for being happy to see their quarrel, hehe...

When one of them started to mock, the other would retaliate with continuous insults. All right, this is starting to go overboard. Why haven't they stopped too? And strangely, just a war of ridicule, no banging and fielding.

I gulped, what should I do for them to stop?

"What's the storm?"

Grandpa has joined the living room. His short speech managed to calm the brawl between Allen and the young man I did not know earlier.

"It turns out you, long time no see, Liam, how are you?" greet grandpa.

"Oh, grandpa. Long time no see" said the young man.

Uh, so they do know each other?
