Second Road

Second Road
Episode 15: Lily

Time is rolling so fast. Sometimes we don't realize that much has passed. The longer we are, the more we grow up. That unstoppable time always brings many things, many changes.

Time can not be prevented, like the sound of melody that continues to propagate in the air. There is, but it is invisible. You can only be sure he exists because he can listen to him without being able to see or touch him.

Time kept revolving around me. It's probably been about a week since I went to school and a lot of things have started to change, except for my height. And there are other things that time cannot change like true love.

It's about two in the afternoon. It's time to go home and forget the school load for a moment. I tidied up the books and stationery, then quickly stuffed them into the bag.

The lesson is over for today, some people are out of class first. Some are still in class to run a picket agenda or just chat.

"Haru, go home with yuk."

Arya greeted me, she's done cleaning her stuff. He was standing quietly next to me. The term 'go home together' for us is just walking together from class to the front gate because I'm going to ride my grandfather's pickup car after.

"Wait!"

Someone shouted as Arya and I were about to approach the door. I feel deja vu. As expected, it was Yuna. The girl with chest-length hair hurriedly approached us.

"I want to talk."

He looked at me seriously. This time what else have I done until he looks at me like that? The last time he was like that was when I walked into class without anyone knowing and it made him mad. He's the chairman, maybe because of that.

"Did I make a mistake? I'm sorry."

I hurriedly apologized before he urged me like before. Yuna was different, she actually had a pretty face, but unfortunately more often put on a cold or sour look.

"No, don't you want to join a club or something? Does nothing interest you? It's been a week."

He spoke a little more calmly. There was no sour face or fiery voice. If he was always like this, it would be better. He could be very popular and attract many male students.

"Club activities? Should it?" I answered doubtfully. It seems like fun, but it will be troublesome too. The club's activities involve a lot of people and I never fit in with that. I don't really like crowds.

"Of course, at least you should join one club every semester. You know, they do it after school. After all, in two months there'll be a test, do you want your paper to be empty for not participating in club activities?" Yuna explained in more detail.

"Sorry, I usually go straight home. So I didn't know there was anything like that. And why is the test so fast?" I scratched my head while smiling.

Arya laughed beside me. I looked at him not understanding. Is something wrong?

"Aren't you coming in after four months of school? Of course the exam is two months away. Exams are held every six months."

Arya shook her head. I didn't even know I was going to this school after four months of the first semester. What about the lesson before I start? I seem to have missed a lot.

"Arya, what club are you following?"

I just asked, someone entered the classroom and ran over to Yuna. She was a long-haired beautiful girl, her beautiful hair was neatly tied back. His knee-length skirt swayed swaying as he ran.

He smiled so much that his eyes seemed to close. Dimple completes her beautiful smile. Briefly said she looked very carefree and beautiful.

"Yun Yun! Bereng yuk's home."

The girl laughed, she hugged Yuna from behind. They seem very close. And wait, what did he call Yuna? Yun Yun's?

"Lily, wait a minute." Yuna smiled like most normal girls. Why did it look so different before? Where did the fierce bull-like Yuna go? Is this long-haired girl the counter of Yuna's sour nature?

"I want to go to the cafe too, Yun Yun who bought it."

I just stared at the two of them. And who is this girl? Yuna called her Lily. Who her? Is Yuna's close friend?

"Ah, I've never seen you before."

He took off his embrace from Yuna, then walked up to me with a smile. He kept approaching me. From this close distance, I could see his face more clearly, even the scent of perfume he wore until it smelled. I reflex a little backwards. She was beautiful, until I thumped a little.

"Lily, meet Haru. He just came in this week. And Haru, this is Lily from 1-E." Yuna immediately introduced us. I'm a little clumsy, I've never experienced this before. He reached out, then I shook his hand.

"Then I'll just call Haruru, okay?" He smiled again for the umpteenth time. And it was as simple as I had just seen him smile for the first time, so loose without any burden.

"Haruru?" I was confused, why did he change my name? And that sounds a little weird. Arya laughed next to me.

"That name fits you. Sounds so cute."

His laughter became so, it made me very embarrassed. And I'm sure that now my cheeks are red. What the fuck is this girl? It seems like I changed my name.

"Didn't you like it?"

Lily looked at me, her expression instantly changing.

"Ti.it's okay."

I hurriedly answered him. I actually really objected. Even very objected. But what is power.

"Arya, don't keep laughing at Haruru."

Lily looked at Arya with annoyance. Finally he stopped laughing. This girl also looks beautiful when angry. She is the definition of a perfect looking girl. Large eyes, bright skin and well-groomed long hair. Less is more like that.

The dust was scattering slightly as the girls behind him moved their brooms. My nose is filled with tiny particles that can cause itching or allergy symptoms.

"Lily likes to give pet calls, so it doesn't matter, right? That's a sign she's happy to see you." Yuna smiled, her aura instantly turning 180 degrees. Turns out right, Lily is the counter of Yuna's ferocious nature.

"I'm Yun Yun's close friend. Haruru, let's make good friends too. Your hair is so pretty, do you color it?"

Lily seemed very interested. Some people in the class asked the same question. And it's a little strange for a guy like me to receive a compliment from a girl who says that my hair is pretty.

They think I dyed my hair brown, but that's not true. My hair is like that. Black, then white because of marie antonitte syndrome. After that I realized it was brown.

"No, it's like this." I smiled when I saw him. Somehow she was like a smile-bearer elf to everyone so anyone would smile when they saw her.

"Then, why don't you call Arya by her favorite name too?"

I cursed, because I still do not accept being laughed at by the call 'Haruru'. In hindsight, it seems that Arya is also good friends with Lily, as well as Yuna. They look very relaxed when they talk like that.

"Nothing, Arya was ever mean to me?"

"Why?" I reflexively asked.

"He rejected me once, so I dropped his special nickname. I don't want to call him by a special name."

Lily's expression changed again, but she still looked beautiful. While Arya is just grinning, not really caring. What's up with them?

"refused you? Doesn't he want to be friends with you?" I asked back. Yuna patted her forehead.

"Ah, we go first. See you tomorrow."

Arya hurriedly ran while pulling my wrist. We both ended up leaving the two girls in class. After passing through several classrooms, Arya finally slowed her pace. We were back at normal speed.

"Why did you pull me?"

I glanced at him, still not understanding the intent of his actions. The hallway between classes is still crowded. There are a lot of students walking down and down here. This is natural, considering that now is the hour to go home from school.

"That's a little hard to explain. And you better not know either."

Arya laughed a little. We walked side by side across classrooms and small parks in several corners of the field. The small garden was filled with greenery and a wide variety of flowers.

"Why?" I'm still not satisfied with the answer. This is one of my traits, it won't stop until it gets an answer.

"You're still too small, it's a problem adults know..."

Arya rubbed my head in an agitation. From these few days he started to like to do it, like grandfather. Maybe because of my appearance that still looks like a twelve-year-old child, when I am fourteen years old.

"Oh, tomorrow's Sunday. Want to go hang out?"

Arya was consistent with her footsteps. A few people passed by in front of us and greeted us at a glance. He seems to be quite famous in this school. Considering he has a charming handsome face and a tall body.

Recently I also realized that he is good at writing poetry and playing guitar. He is also good at teaching and sports. Which girl can refuse him?

"Hang out?"

I asked back. I've never heard that term. Is it something to eat? Or maybe the title of the book?

"Yes, we can go out and walk the road. Go to a cafe or watch. You know, like a date." Arya looks excited, but what's the date?

"Eh, I don't mean we're the ones going out on dates, it's short she said to make you understand. We are men. We can spend time together as close friends. So how? Or do you just want to play at my house?"

The wind blew slowly that afternoon, so soft and elegant. But keep cool. Tree branches and leaves made her dance nari. Today it is not raining, more in the direction of hot and sunny. This weather makes me feel a little calm.

"Maybe I should ask grandpa first."

We finally arrived in front of the gate after passing through a long field. Grandpa's black car has been parked there since.

"Arya, I'm first. See you soon."

I ran away leaving him waving my hand. Then I opened the car door and went inside. Grandpa was ready in the car.

Today was so fun. I just made a new friend, a beautiful girl named Lily. Oh, and I forgot to ask her full name.

But it's not a problem at all, it turns out that having a friend is not bad, maybe I used to be so bad that no one wanted to be friends with me. Not the good old days, is it?

The past changes into the present, and the present will soon transform into the future.

Life isn't as bad sometimes as you think. But if you respond too lightly, then you will also lose.

Lions always target prey that is off guard, but that does not mean that vigilant prey will never enter the target of hunting.

So, be careful...
