Part 32: The End
Azka Aldric's
That guy really\-taught me everything. I used to be just a kid who could only be quiet when someone bothered me. I don't have many friends who will help me. Including at home, I also rarely go out because I have no friends.
His name was Farel Bintang. The man who pulled me out of the shell that was holding me. Our introduction was in the rain-drenched twilight, just above the wet ground level after he helped me. He introduced me to his friend, the rain. It was also the rain that brought us both closer together until the word turned into a friend.
It has influence. In addition to being born from the group of people who are, he is also respected by friends\-peers. He was a role model in friendship. We were taught solidarity in friendship by Farel. He also helps us if there is a problem.
Everything changed when her father left for good. He lost the person who introduced rain and explained the meaning of the star that became his final name. Farel begins to get caught up in depression, sedative drugs, and a past that haunts him all the time.
Since then he has been quiet and lonely. He doesn't like to hang out with someone. Including me, he always avoided me. We never seemed to know each other before.
Now I see him struggling to defend the meaning of love. He does not want to let go of the person he truly loves. Alvia made herself change. Alvia has made her forget the past as well as the depression that made her drift and drown.
"You know where we're going?" I asked Farel. We didn't find Alvia in her house, nor in Zaki's shop.
"Something related to dusk.l" He refers to a beautiful place that shows the view of Pekanbaru City, Bukit Bintang. Alvia loves visiting the place just to enjoy the twilight.
"Oh, I know the place."
I continued my journey to the Rumbai area, north of Pekanbaru City. We drove down the streets of Yos Sudarso and turned right at the intersection near Kaharudin Nasution Stadium. The road to that place is quite a hike and a little turn. We finally reached our destination.
I saw Alvia's car parked there. Exactly what Farel thought before, he must be here.
"Hurry after Alvia" I told Farel. Farel nodded in understanding. His eyes held the spirit he had been enduring all this time.
"ZAKI!" The guy really\- really likes to make a mess. He influenced Alvia to the creation of a distance between Farel and Alvia.
Farel hugged Alvia tightly. The light of the sun that struck both gave warmth to Farel's embrace. Finally something I was afraid of happened. Farel was approaching Zaki. Farel unleashed a punch right into Zaki's face. I ran to break them.
"DON'T EVER TOUCH ALVIA AGAIN!" shouted Farel. He was still approaching Farel who fell to the ground.
"Farel, no!!!" I held back his hand that was still trying to attack Zaki. He's still fighting. His strength is very strong beyond my strength.
"Quite Farel. We can hate people, but we can't hurt them" I told him. Slowly his hands weakened. "You taught me that yourself" I continued.
He's staring. His gaze was no longer as wild as it had been.
"You're right, Azka." His eyes turned to look at Zaki who was groaning in pain on his face. I know exactly how Farel's incredible punch can hurt. I feel it myself.
He turned around and touched Alvia's hand. "Be my lover, Alvia," he asked Alvia.
Alvia hugged him. No need for words to answer that request. Farel already understood enough with Alvia's answer. They both love, there is no longer an obstacle for them to unite.
I walked towards Zaki.
"If you come again, I won't arrest Farel. You don't know how all Farel's enemies have faced. If you knew, maybe you wouldn't. Wanna?" I abandoned.
I took my car to the parking lot. Behind me are a couple of newly-created lovers. Alvia continued to lean on Farel's shoulder, as if she did not want to escape.
"To celebrate, we're eating a\-dinner tonight. I'm the dealership. But get Cessa first," I said.
No cheers for my offer. They both just smile. I think it's still being possessed by the love that's affecting them. I drove a car. Mentari is leaning towards the west. Leave a line of red light\-lines that imprint on the clouds.
The longer the sun doesn't show itself. There was a moon that replaced his smile. Then the stars approached to accompany the shining moon. I smile. In the end, Farel found his love.
I am so happy, my friend.
