Part 17: Storm Behind Rinai

Part 17: Storm Behind Rinai

Azka Aldric's

The rain is raining great out there. Wet every object that dares to stand in the way. The streak of lightning alternately showed his whip. They didn't choose who to snatch, they snatched anything they could snatch. For that we take refuge when the flash of\-flashes of light begins to appear when it rains.

Hours of study were not effective by the sound of thundering rain. The teacher could not explain the lesson because it was disguised by the echo of the rain point hitting the roof of the isthmus. The students were busy with their respective activities. The male\-male disciples gathered over there. I don't know what they saw together there. The female students shared a gossip group. It has become a habit of female students in general.

I don't see that sweet smile. A pretty face sharpener with both eyeballs beautifully aligned with her thick eyebrows. Sometimes the black hair that melted away made my heart melt again when the wind hit. Her tiny hand looks solid when the guitar handle sticks to it. Move agilely switch keys and melodies. Churning out a beautiful voice wrapped in a friendly by the pinch of his fingers on the strings of the\-string.

He was not seen by me from before. I wanted to ask the teacher, but he had already left.

"So, did anyone see Alvia?" ask another friend.

"No idea. Azka here dong." one of my friend\-lak said in the crowd of male disciples\-man. I laughed hearing that. I understand what they see.

"No, no, no repentance" I replied briefly.

"Appaan, anyway. This was the Barcelona game last night. Messi scored two goals" he replied.

I laughed again, but my guess was wrong. Anyway I don't understand football like a boy in general. That's why I was never invited when another class invited us to a futsal match.

The rain is getting heavier and harder on the earth. The wind of the rain blew shaking every tree that was firmly rooted. I set my foot in search of Alvia. It could be raining somewhere. Or he could be with Farel the rain-waiter. I don't think it's a problem they're together. My jealousy of their closeness is gone. Alvia only cares about her, just like me and Cessa who care so much about her situation.

I turned right at the usual spot Farel was enjoying the rain's whistles. Sure enough, he was sitting there looking at the overcast sky. He is still protected by the roof until he is not wet like a floor that is only two steps away from him.

He looked at me with my eyes. His face looked shabby with lips not as red as usual. However, the smile was still the same, thin and simple.

"You're not asking why I'm alone?" ask Farel. He doesn't usually start the conversation. The malay logic flowed slightly from his sentence.

"I already know your answer Farel. That's why I don't," I replied.

"When have you been Azka?"

I digest Farel's question. Apparently it refers to my relationship with Alvia. I nodded in understanding and replied, "Since three days ago,"

"You understand Cessa's feelings right now? do not be too fond of your closeness near him. It would have hurt her heart" Farel said.

His true nature comes out. He was very protective of his own friend. He always protected a friend he had.

"Yes, I know that. One thing I want to ask you. Do you like her? It is impossible for a pair of human friends without harboring feelings," I asked back.

"What kind of foolish question is this, I will not seize the position he has prepared for you" Farel replied quickly.

I was shocked to hear it. I seem to be a bad person who has ignored people who care so much about me all this time.

"He loves you, not me. Never mind, you picked Alvia up in the music room," Farel continued.

"He's in there?"

"I was just there before the rain called me,"

I disappeared from his side to meet Alvia in the music room. That room is across there. I could have run into the rain, but I would have gotten soaked before I could step on the floor of the building across there. I ran around the field until I got to the music room.

I opened the door and entered the music room. There are quite a number of students who are here. Each of them holds a guitar. Each pair of eyes looked at one woman who was sitting while holding her faforit guitar. His hair seemed tied so as not to disturb him while acting with the guitar.

"Key C if one note is raised ..." the sentence stopped when I realized my presence. He showed me a smile I hadn't seen before. "Azka!"

All the female disciples that Alvia was guiding saw me. As always, they will be like big fans who want to take pictures.

"Sir Azka ..," call them together. I throw a smile at them.

"All right, how do you learn the guitar?" ask them. It appears to me that Alvia put her guitar in a guitar bag.

"Don't bother Azka again, because someone has taken care of her" said Alvia. He took my hand. The fragrant bush of his body smelled as he was beside me. The disappointed look on the face of my sister\-class in front of me.

"So Alvia is the same as Azka? Yeah ...." Their tones are low. One of them approached.

"Yaudah, get to know us with that cool sister. Who's often alone in that back seat."

"Farel means? There is also someone to take care of. Hahaha, tomorrow\-tomorrow Brother knows you. Today's music hours get here first huh, Brother wants to go first, bye!" Alvia took a break from them. I threw a smile and pulled Alvia's hand out.

The rain that envelops enters every heart. Especially the couple across there. I don't really call them friends, but I deserve to call them friends.

Mutual needs shoulders when the mind is heavy by pikulan. Behind the rain, Farel and Cessa were sitting together while enjoying the rain.

"Is there such a friend, Azka?" ask Alvia to me. His hands touched the rainwater flowing from the roof.

"There are, like them," I replied.

"Why aren't they dating? They fit so well. Sometimes I want us to be like them" asked Alvia again. My mind immediately concluded inwardly, the reason being that Cessa likes me.

"Yes, there's always a reason they don't exceed that limit. Cessa is his first friend here. Farel was not one to easily let go of a friend."

I saw again Cessa's expression on Farel's shoulder, looking sad and desperate. I know what he's thinking. He thought of me who had chosen Alvia over him. Cessa always needs a shoulder when she's hit. Just like when he was leaning on my shoulder.

Farel's eyes were staring at us. The rain that disguises the appearance of his face still implies the glare that lately painted the face of Farel.

Suddenly he fell from his seat and crashed onto the wet floor.

"Farel!" shout Alvia.

With my hand he let go and ran through the rain that hit. He did not care about the cold that gripped after the rain soaked him.

"Alvia, no!" My ban he could not hear. Alvia continued to run after the fallen Farel.

I immediately ran to their place. Farel's nose was bleeding and his body was hot. There was a slight black hue under his eyes. Must be Farel's been sleep deprived lately.

"Cessa, hurry up and call the teacher" I asked her.

Alvia kept calling her name\-call. Her tears fell down Farel's cheek and mixed with the blood coming out of his nose. I lifted her body and took her to the UKS. Farel's hand felt so cold when I touched it.

Something's wrong with him. His mentality had indeed been hit, but never made his body this weak. All I know is that Farel is a strong man, even though his mind is filled with things that make him hit.

I put it on a UKS mattress. The PMR officer, cleaned the blood of Farel's nose that filled his cheek. They also removed Farel's shoes and uniform to make him more comfortable. A PMR officer attached a stethoscope to Farel's chest and checked his breathing.

"Breaths normal. He might be so tired that he fainted like this. We'll wait until we wake up" the PMR officer said.

"So who will wait for Brother Farel to wake up?" ask the PMR officer. He is a younger brother of class who is on duty in the UKS today.

"I am," Alvia answered quickly.

   "Me too" I answered.

"UKS regulations must not allow two people to care for the patient, Sis. Azka's sister can return to the classroom" the PMR officer said.

"Oh, that, yeah. Yaudah, I went back to class first yes, Alvia," I told Alvia. He nodded and then took my hand gently.

"Azka don't worry, I understand, really."

I understand Alvia's explanation. He must be worried if I don't like it if Alvia is close to another man. This time I understand. His explanation reduced my anxiety. I put my foot in class.

Outside the UKS, Cessa is sitting head down. Her crying was worrying about something. I stood in front of him. Cessa who noticed my presence immediately hugged me tightly.

"Farel will be fine\-all, really." I stroked his head gently. Her tears wet my chest. I couldn't touch her hair that was bounded by the hijab she was wearing. My finger removed the glasses she was wearing, then rubbed the tear line that formed straight along her cheek.

"Don't cry, your beauty's missing on the tear broom." Slowly the crying subsided. But his eyes remained puffy by the remaining tears.

One day Farel fell from his seat. I got a call from Cessa that surprised me. He brought the news that Farel was in the hospital. I don't know what disease is attacking his sturdy body.

Cessa and I went straight to the hospital. However, my steps were stopped by Alvia who was silent at the door of the room where Farel was being treated. His eyes looked blankly ahead. I who held his hand could only be silent.

"Is this the reason?" Those two words came out slowly from Alvia's mouth.
