They were all confused and exchanged glances, just now it sounded like the voice of someone speaking from outside Alex's barrier.
But they try to ignore it, maybe they're too drunk until they start hearing it wrong.
"Hello? There are still people here, right?"
Alex opened a slight gap in his barrier, he gasped as he looked out, a soldier standing outside with a body drenched in blood covered in wounds from the prick of a needle.
He immediately opened enough gaps for the man to enter, Dustin hurriedly helped him lie down and gave him first aid.
"Tristan! You're alive, aren't you a bastard?" Drunk Wilman approached the soldier and patted his armor.
Gilbert turned to look at Tristan and watched him for a while. "Well, are you Tristan? I can't even recognize you because of all the blood on your face, what the fuck?"
"You can't even recognize him?" Alex shook his head while clucking, in fact he didn't recognize her at first either.
Tristan looks confused by the situation in this place, he looks back and forth to find people who are sane enough to answer his questions.
Free, son. All these bastards have lost their minds.
"What's going on here?" Tristan finally had no choice but to ask a group of drunken madmen.
"Huh!? You didn't see?! We're experiencing what you're going through stupid!" Gilbert cursed Tristan and poked his eel with a finger.
"Not ... I mean, why are you all drunk?"
The five people looked at each other and were silent for a while, then their laughter exploded, Saul sprawled and rolled on the ground.
"What do you want to do again?!" Gilbert in the middle of his laughter exclaimed right on Tristan's face, his saliva spouting to where. The other four laughed even harder.
"So, how did you survive?" Dustin asked Tristan, and he gave him a cigar.
Tristan received the cigar and lit it. "So then, just after the train rolled over I lost consciousness, when it dawned, I was already lying under a pile of corpses."
"You're the only one alive?" Alex asked.
Tristan nodded, he sucked on his cigar and exhaled his smoke out slowly while staring at the ceiling of the barrier.
"I was about to kill myself, but after a second thought, it might be best if I die while facing the demons. Sounds cool, right?" Tristan grinned towards the five of them.
Gilbert laughs. "This bastard went crazy after seeing his partner die."
Once again Tristan sucked on his cigar, "When I came out, it seemed that the devil was gone, then I heard the sound of laughter from behind this dome of earth. That's the story." Cigar smoke came out along with Tristan's words, he then exhaled a little of the remaining smoke.
"I should be moved?" Wilman looked at Tristan with a contrived look of pity, the four others laughing looking at him.
Tristan just smiled, then he reached into something from his pocket and pulled out a few bottles of alcohol.
"I think it's useless to leave these bottles without an owner, so I just bring them here."
They all laughed again and continued drinking until the sun began to sink.
...****************...
"You're not a real noble?" Dustin asked Alex, now the two of them and Tristan are left. Gilbert was weak to alcohol even though he liked it so much, while Wilman was understandable because this was the first time he drank, Saul seemed exhausted, he also lost quite a lot of blood.
"How many times have I told you, the people in the Academy don't even trust me until the end." Alex replied in an annoyed tone, he picked up a new cigar from the pouch and lit it.
"I was taken by a Count to the Academy after they found out that I got the power of light, probably because I came to the Academy using a noble carriage, they mistakenly thought I was a noble." Alex sucked his cigar deeply, then exhaled it all at once.
He laughed a little before continuing. "Silence, since the horse carriage I used at that time included a simple horse carriage according to the nobles, they thought that I was some kind of prince hiding an identity."
Dustin laughed loudly at Alex's story while Tristan just nodded while coolly sucking his cigar, I don't know what Tristan means.
"You were at the Academy? Do you know the Balchanes children?" Dustin asked Alex.
"Alvaro's? Yeah, we're staying in the room. Do you know him?"
"No, I used to be a magic mentor at their residence when they were apprentices, but the kid I taught magic was like your friend's sister."
Come to think of it, Alvaro did say that he was from a country in the north, maybe he would get good treatment if he visited the Balchanes residence and claimed to be Alvaro's partner. Where could it be, the noble would definitely not want to believe it.
"What age were you at the internship?" Tristan asked Dustin, but he showed no signs of pain or weakness due to heavy blood loss. Maybe what Gilbert said was true, this guy went crazy seeing all his comrades killed.
"Twenty fits." Dustin raised two fingers.
"From what age did you go to the Department of Magic?" Ask Tristan again.
"You've interned at that age? Great as well."
"Heh, you seem to understand that Tristan, even if it looks like this, I am indeed a pretty good witch." Dustin's face became arrogant after being praised by Tristan.
"It's that great?" Alex replaced asked Dustin, making him scowl because Alex's question seemed to demean him. But he doesn't know.
"Normally the age of magicians who graduated education in the Department of Magic was around twenty-three to twenty-five if they started from the age of eighteen." Tristan.
Dustin nodded happily, "You really know a lot, have you also received a magic education there?" Dustin asked Tristan.
Tristan shakes. "It wasn't me, but my brother, he said he'd reached third place."
"Oh, really? What's-her-name? I hope it's not the girl I've been to bed with."
A horrifying cold expression appeared on Tristan's face. "Alex, if it turns out this bastard ever slept with my brother, kill him on my behalf."
Alex stared hard at Dustin. "Understanding, but killing him was a bit excessive, how about cutting off his little sister instead?"
Tristan nodded with satisfaction. "I think that's enough" he said, grinning at Dustin. "So? Ready to hear my brother's name?"
Dustin's face turned tense and pale. "Can't we forget this?"
"Maybe, that means you missed the possibility of never sleeping with her." Dustin hiccup reflex, that means he wants to retreat now is free, he cursed himself who is free to talk. Inwardly, he swore not to get drunk excessively anymore.
"Allah ... Then." Then." He answered with a trembling voice.
"Irene ... Irene Doukas's. Hows it? Do you feel you've ever had an illicit relationship with her?"
Dustin seemed to remember something, then smiled and laughed.
"Poor tristan." His words confused Tristan. "The person you should have cut the bird off wasn't me."
Tristan gasped at Dustin's words. "No way! Don't-don't ...."
Dustin grinned complacently at Tristan's afflicted expression, he had managed to turn the situation around.
"Yes! Aye! I may be a scoundrel who likes to change bedmates, but I never touch a woman who already has a partner! You know what kaaan means! TRISTA BOYY!?"
Somehow Dustin became crazy, he was crazy when drunk, but this time he looks more crazy than usual. The satisfied grin on his face looked like a demon that managed to play tricks on its prey.
Tristan leaps to Dustin and pulls the collar off his robe. "Who ... Who's that bastard ...?" Tristan asked with a hate-filled hunting gaze.
Dustin's grin became more and more terrifying, he incarnated into an incarnation of depravity and vengeance. "Isn't there a price for everything?"
"I'll give up my soul." Tristan had no hope, hatred and drunkenness had taken hold of him.
Alex was tired of listening to them, he came out of the barrier and decided to look for fresh angis, the dome of the barrier was already filled with the scent of blood and alcohol. He faintly heard Dustin's crazy laughter from within the barrier, then the sound of some sort of indistinct spell chanting from Tristan.
After making sure there were no demons hiding in the surroundings by spreading some little elves in various directions, he took out a cigar and ignited it.
He stared at the city they had been to before, the faces of the villagers who were grateful, the faces of Daisy who was filled with excitement, the children who played chases while flying.
In his heart he wished nothing bad had happened to them.
Dustin is seen following Alex out, he sits next to Alex and turns on a cigar.
"Have the contract finished? Lord demon king?"
"Yukhukhu ... Too much to call me the demon king."
"Tristan how?"
"She fell asleep after muttering her brother's name many times. The kid, he's an acute siscon. After all he was severely injured, it was rather surprising that he could stay awake with such injuries." Dustin chuckled, he finally returned to normal.
Alex just kept quiet, not paying too much attention to Dustin's answer, his mind dissolved again. He had forgotten about it while drunk with these people, but all those bad images were back on his mind at this moment.
"Look, there's good news, the other bastards have arrived here." Dustin pointed to the horse carriage that was speeding towards them from a distance.
Seeing the evacuation unit approaching, a smile fell on Alex's face that looked relieved.
