Chapter 5: The Queen

In a city included in the Kingdom of Vasilius, residents held a festival to celebrate the first harvest in the spring.

Tourists and locals alike enliven the festival. The show was held, the tents of merchants selling snacks and trinkets lined up along the street, shops and houses decorated in such a way, making the atmosphere even more festive in the day.

Even the nobles celebrate this festival, even though they are in a place separate from the ordinary population. But the Counts in the region still gave a welcome to the residents.

Among the tourists, two sisters who were enjoying the festival were waiting in line to buy a fruit candy that was recently popular with the girls.

Rangda who also did not know about it was silent for a while, then she asked a bunch of teenage girls passing by. "If you want sweet food, I suggest you buy sweets there ... Uh, it's wholesale, ehe. Then try to buy that fried food over there, or meat skewer over there". One of the teenagers answered Rangda's question.

"One more question, where to buy drinks?" Ask Rangda again. "Try to buy that ice cream, fruit juice is also delicious anyway, a lot of people sell fruit juice, you just ask". One of the teenagers replied again. Rangda then thanked them and gave the money in return.

"That's how the Queen is, I think the fruit juice they said was quite mena-" the Queen was already in front of the tent selling ice cream.

Rangda approached the Queen who was in the tent of the ice cream seller, she was still confused to choose the ice cream menu displayed by the seller.

Rangda gave more money to the seller and gave the change, "Come again yes". Again the Queen was in the garden seat that they had occupied before Rangda realized it, he immediately followed the Queen.

She had just realized that the ice cream she had put in her mouth was really delicious as the Queen said, although it was not like the chocolate she was familiar with, but the taste of chocolate in this world is better than the one in his world.

Before he knew it, the chocolate ice cream was up, now he took another cup containing strawberry flavored ice cream. He was not so impressed, it was not too different from the strawberry he knew. But delicious too.

The queen's ice cream ran out first, and now she's looking back and forth for an interesting seller's tent. "Rangda, would you like to try some fruit juice? I'm gonna buy this". The queen pointed at the seller's tent which was shown by the horde of teenagers.

Rangda nodded and stood up, "Let me alone". The Queen keeps Rangda from sitting down. "Here, your ice cream is not finished yet, I choose the menu yes". Said the Queen. Rangda nodded, "Thank you for your kindness". The queen waved her hand and walked towards the tent of the juice seller.

Again the Queen looks confused by the menu choices, Rangda looked at the queen with a smile on her lips. The queen looked so friendly and passionate when she was at her side, though her face sometimes showed a sad expression and seemed lonely. Well, it's something that's natural for people who've lived for either twenty years or even hundreds of thousands of years ago.

"Rangda, do you hear me?". Rangda received a voice transmission from a man. "Memphis, I can hear you, what's the matter?". Answer through voice transmission.

"Ah, it's kind of hard to explain, I think you and the Queen should see it in person". Reply to the man.

"I myself am not very aware of the details, Memphis asked me and the Queen to come to his location". Rangda. "I'm going to use the space shift to get to the Memphis location". Rangda looked like he was forming a certain formation with his finger, but it was immediately prevented by the Queen.

"Drink this first". The queen thrust a glass filled with juice onto Rangda.

"Alright, thank you for your kindness, Queen". Rangda received the glass and drank it in a hurry, while the Queen looked relaxed, but the juice was still running out quickly.

The Queen and Rangda arrived at the site of Memphis which was in another city in the Kingdom of Vasilius, with Memphis there was a woman who was one of his subordinates. Also a man who looked like a beggar had a seedy appearance with his eyes covered in bandages.

"Not to be afraid, I won't do anything, I just want to see what's behind that blindfold". The Queen tried to convince the beggar, but she did not budge, the Queen sighed.

Suddenly the Queen was already before him and tried to forcefully pull the blindfold off, but the beggar could react at the Queen's speed and take a step back to avoid the Queen's hand.

Rangda and Memphis who saw it immediately surrounded the beggar from another direction, Memphis' subordinates were also seen pointing their long-range weapons at the beggar.

"Calm you". Said the Queen, "This man is dangerous Queen". Memphis Timpal. "Silence Memphis". The Queen's words made her pause instantly, her aura stabilized again, but she remained on standby.

"Are you from this world? Or are you just like us who came from another world?" The beggar looked a little jolted, from his reaction, the Queen could deduce that he was a native of this world.

The figure smiled, then he took off his blindfold, revealing something he had been hiding all along.
