Chapter 25: Welcome (2)

Alex and his entourage cross paths with Brian's entourage on the way back to the train, Brian's entourage is seen pulling a cart containing many parcels.

"Well, you guys too?" Desmond commented.

"Yes, but it looks like you can't be as much as us, yes" said Tania, one of the girls who had joined Brian's entourage, who rumors that they both liked each other even though they haven't expressed their love.

Upon their arrival on the train, Alex's entourage helps Brian and his friends transport parcels from the cart to the storage room of the train.

Alex continued to dissolve in his mind until the loud clashing sound followed by the light shaking of the steering car made him gasp, everyone in the carriage looked at each other, they also heard the sound.

Desmond immediately took a position at the front, he formed a large shield to cover his companions. Alicia stood standby behind Desmond as a frontline fighter.

They were in the passenger car number one, so whatever caused the screaming sounds in the steering room, they would most likely appear in their carriage as well.

Desmond did not take his eyes off the door connecting the steering room and their carriage, nor did Alicia. While others keep an eye on the windows on the left and right sides.

In that tense moment, Alex suddenly pushed Brenda's body and shouted. "AWAS!"

"Hey! You all right?!" Desmond became anxious as he watched the blood rush from Brenda's arm.

Brenda's voice came to a halt when she heard the sound of flesh being torn apart and the cry being held back, she turned to the source of the voice. There, Brian sat holding his neck covered in blood, blood spurting from his mouth every time he groaned, his legs twitched unkemptly. Brenda widened her eyes full of disbelief.

Tania was instantly shocked to see the sight, "B-brian ...."

"DAMNIT!" Desmond formed a long spear, then he thrust it towards the roof of the carriage, but he did not make it through the roof.

"BRIAN! BRIAAAN!" Tania exclaimed hysterically, she rushed over to Brian and tried to stop the bleeding in Brian's wound with her hand. But it seemed that the strange spear had already pierced through Brian's vital organs, he was already beyond saving.

On the sidelines of his moans, Brian seemed to want to say something, but no one could hear him because what came out of his mouth was only blood and a choking sound, Tania cried so badly, she said, there was nothing he could do but watch Brian dying.

"This is not a spear! It's a spider's leg!" Anford who had cut the silver spears with the power of his light cried out, its strange shape because it had sticky veins and liquid that gushed every time Anford cut it made him aware of it.

"Allicia! Can you hole the roof of this train?!" Alex was also cutting off the legs that kept hitting them with his sword, "We won't be able to hit it as long as we're blocked by this roof!"

"But it's too dangerous right?!"

"This is useless! If it continues like this is not just a hollow train roof! Hurry Alicia!"

Alicia finally pulled out one of the carriage seats and threw it over with all her might, leaving the roof of the carriage torn apart, displaying a silver-colored monstrous figure with eight legs perched on the roof of their carriage, which was the only one on the train, his six pairs of eyes were emitting a terrifying green light.

'What kind of spider is that?!' Alex screams in his heart.

After the figure that attacked them was clearly seen, Desmond immediately formed a spear and threw it into the creature's body.

"KIEEEEEKKK!"

The creature screeched as Desmond's spear stuck into his body. "How can his legs regenerate so quickly?!" Complaining Anford who from earlier cut off the legs that attacked them, he did not expect that the legs that continued to hit them endlessly turned out to be from one creature.

The loud noise from Alicia's throw made the people from the second carriage come, they gasped at the chaos in the first carriage. "Hey! Help me cut off these fucking legs!" Peekut Anford.

"Desmond, give me the spear!" Alicia exclaimed as she stretched out her hand, Desmond immediately formed a spear and threw it at Alicia, swiftly, he grabbed the spear and threw it with all his might. Alicia's throw hit the creature's body, making it hollow, sparks coming out of the hole from Alicia's throw.

"KIIIIEEEEEEHHHHKKK!"

But apparently Alicia's attack was still not enough to subvert the creature, in fact the creature's attack was increasingly blind, those who tried to resist the attack of the spider's legs began to be overwhelmed.

Brian leaned against Tania's body, his eyes blank, his breathing dashed, his body turning blue from running out of too much blood. Tania clenched Brian's body from behind, tearfully trying to listen to something Brian wanted to say.

They could not help but cry, seeing a colleague die while they could do nothing to save him.

Not long after, Brian stopped groaning, his breath no longer felt by Tania, those eyes staring blankly had already lost their light.

Tania's cry instantly exploded, she clenched tightly onto Brian's body which slowly started to cool. All those in the carriage were powerless to hold back the tears, they had witnessed the first death in the coming chain of death in the near future.
