Alex woke up in the Academy clinic, in a semi-conscious state, he could vaguely hear a conversation between two people, but he could not clearly hear it.
A moment later, the voice disappeared, and Alex heard his name called.
His ears still felt buzzing, so he couldn't be sure if that person actually called his name and who the person who called him was because his vision still felt blurry and yellowish.
Then he felt his head being touched by someone, along with that, a stream of energy that felt warm and comfortable felt flowing in his head.
"Oi, Alex. Are you conscious?" His hearing instantly became clear, the voice was a voice he recognized. "Adrian?" Adrian smiles with relief as Alex calls his name, Alex turns to the other side of the bed. There he saw a man with brown orange-eyed hair, next to him stood a girl with similar characteristics.
they are Raymond Arnaveu Brigantine and Alicia Arnaveu Brigantine. Raymond was the one who healed Brenda's wounds, just now heals yours anyway.-Adrian's voice appeared in Alex's head, just like during the Academy's opening ceremony.
"My name is Raymond, he's my sister, Alicia." Raymond introduced himself briefly, "Ah, thank you for bothering." Alex sat down and shook Raymond's hand.
Raymond shook his head, "I used to go around the clinic a lot, because I couldn't fight much, so at least that's what I could do" he said, "But instead of healing your injury, my sister wants to duel with you someday." Alex turned his head towards Alicia, he smiled towards Alex, a golden badge embedded in his uniform, which meant that Raymond's younger brother was also the owner of the power of light.
Already the umpteenth time he accepted the duel challenge, first Ferdinand, then his brother Alfonso, now there is another Alicia Brigantine. Somehow his hunch said that Alicia was as dangerous as Ferdinand and Alfonso, even though he had not dueled Ferdinand anyway.
Yeah, but he's got no other choice, right? Raymond healed him too. "Well, but you're ready to heal me on the spot if I get hurt because of your sister, right?" Raymond laughed and nodded in agreement, "Calm down, I'm still not that strong either." Alicia said with a smile, but somehow Alex shuddered at the smile.
After that, Raymond stood up from his chair, followed by Alicia. "Then, we'll both go back to class, goodbye." The brothers then walked out of Alex's nursery, leaving Adrian still there.
"The break is over, you want to go straight to class or take a break?" adrian asked Alex, Alex shook his head, "I'm fine, Raymond's healing powers are awesome." Alex got out of his bed and stretched, "I didn't think I would lose to a pure witch in a gun fight" Alex said as he stared at his slightly scuffed palm as he continued to swing his weapon, looks like Raymond escaped healing this part.
"While she was a witch, but she still remained a member of the Chevallaire family famous for their combat power, she should not be underestimated at all. Besides, you're also the first time you fought using a weapon, right." Adrian said, his words made Alex realize that he underestimated Alfonso too much, especially when he saw Alfonso began to falter at the last moment. Who would have thought Alfonso could find a gap in such a crucial moment?
After thinking for a while, Alex sat back in bed, stopped going back to class, "I'm here, right" Alex said, "Aren't you going to class? Okay, let's." Okay." Adrian gave his thumbs up without much question even though he was also curious.
After Adrian leaves the clinic room, Alex lays her body in bed. A moment later his breathing pattern instantly changed, he fell asleep just like that.
...****************...
"Welcome, my lord." A large bluish wolf greeted Alex, at this moment he was no longer in the clinic or anywhere else in the Academy complex.
"It's been a third visit, hasn't it?" A large bird with a body shrouded in purple-colored flame chimed in, Alex nodded in agreement.
The fairies were small humans with butterfly wings flying around Alex laughing cheerfully, which was how they welcomed their master.
"I want to study the aura, or anything similar to it." Alex's answer made the fairies who were there look at each other, "But don't you already have us? Who at any time is ready to lend strength when you need it." The big wolf responded to Alex's words.
Alex smiled and shook his head, "It's not that I feel your strength is lacking, but I just don't want to rely too much on you guys."
The big wolf and the fire bird gasped, "Master! There is no greater happiness for us than when we can be of use to you!" The firebird exclaimed in a bow, as if he disagreed with Alex's statement that he was troubling them.
"I agree with the words of Phoenix, sir. Our greatest happiness is when we can be useful to you, please use us as much as you want." The words of the two fairies made Alex feel uneasy, he was really still unfamiliar with their respectful attitude which was considered a bit excessive.
"If you want to use a power similar to aura, maybe you can ask Bane for help." Said a fairy in the form of a winged horse with a body covered in a dazzling white light.
"Bane?" Alex had only heard the name for the first time, the subconscious world in which the fairies lived was indeed very vast, even Alex felt it impossible to know their names one by one.
"Brilliant! Pegasus was right, maybe Bane could be the solution to your problem." The figure of a firebird named Phoenix approved Pegasus' proposal.
Alex also seems interested in Pegasus' proposal, "Where can I meet this Bane?"
"You don't have to bother to see him, he's a slacker, but I'm sure he'll come if you call him" said the big wolf. Alex nodded, he closed his eyes and tried to focus.
Moments later, from the mountain range of the subconscious world, a huge winged figure shot out at high speed towards Alex. In just a short time, the figure that turned out to have a large body size had almost arrived at Alex's location.
Without reducing the speed, the figure swooped sharply down, making some fairies frightened and screaming in panic. lex began to tremble, but he tried to resist the urge to scream in order to keep the image of the fairies against him.
"Bane! You'd better change your shape before you land!" Phonix shouted at the figure. The big wolf immediately beckoned Alex to stay away, it seemed like something dangerous was about to happen.
The size of the body of the winged figure began to shrink rapidly, a few seconds later, he landed onto the ground giving off an explosive sound and an extremely strong gust of wind.
"Can't you land in a more normal way?" Ketus one of the fairies in the form of a woman with a body shrouded in greenish light.
"It's pretty normal, huh." Without a voice lightly, it seemed like he was the figure who had just landed in a frenzy.
From behind the dust, a man walked up to Alex and gave him a salute of respect.
The figure standing before Alex at this time was a male figure in his 30s in a dark military uniform equipped with light armor attached to several parts of his body.
"It's your honor to call me, I'm Bane, the dragon-like fairy. Ready to take your orders."
