Chapter 19: The Dragon

Alex woke up in the Academy clinic, in a semi-conscious state, he could vaguely hear a conversation between two people, but he could not clearly hear it.

A moment later, the voice disappeared, and Alex heard his name called.

His ears still felt buzzing, so he couldn't be sure if that person actually called his name and who the person who called him was because his vision still felt blurry and yellowish.

Then he felt his head being touched by someone, along with that, a stream of energy that felt warm and comfortable felt flowing in his head.

"Oi, Alex. Are you conscious?" His hearing instantly became clear, the voice was a voice he recognized. "Adrian?" Adrian smiles with relief as Alex calls his name, Alex turns to the other side of the bed. There he saw a man with brown orange-eyed hair, next to him stood a girl with similar characteristics.

they are Raymond Arnaveu Brigantine and Alicia Arnaveu Brigantine. Raymond was the one who healed Brenda's wounds, just now heals yours anyway.-Adrian's voice appeared in Alex's head, just like during the Academy's opening ceremony.

Alex got out of his bed and stretched, "I didn't think I would lose to a pure witch in a gun fight" Alex said as he stared at his slightly scuffed palm as he continued to swing his weapon, looks like Raymond escaped healing this part.

Adrian said, his words made Alex realize that he underestimated Alfonso too much, especially when he saw Alfonso began to falter at the last moment. "I want to study the aura, or anything similar to it." Alex's answer made the fairies who were there look at each other, "But don't you already have us? Who at any time is ready to lend strength when you need it." The big wolf responded to Alex's words.

Alex smiled and shook his head, "It's not that I feel your strength is lacking, but I just don't want to rely too much on you guys."

The big wolf and the fire bird gasped, "Master! There is no greater happiness for us than when we can be of use to you!" The firebird exclaimed in a bow, as if he disagreed with Alex's statement that he was troubling them.

"I agree with the words of Phoenix, sir. Our greatest happiness is when we can be useful to you, please use us as much as you want." The words of the two fairies made Alex feel uneasy, he was really still unfamiliar with their respectful attitude which was considered a bit excessive.

"If you want to use a power similar to aura, maybe you can ask Bane for help." Said a fairy in the form of a winged horse with a body covered in a dazzling white light.

"Bane! You'd better change your shape before you land!" Phonix shouted at the figure. The big wolf immediately beckoned Alex to stay away, it seemed like something dangerous was about to happen.
