The life of the orphanage had lingered for a long time in Carlotta's mind. From childhood, he loved children. He loved taking care of his brothers. And it's even more fun to come with her grandmother looking around the parlour. The children at her grandmother's orphanage grew up well. Their health and well-being are taken seriously. They were educated at the best public school they could get. The Carlotta family also did not hesitate to finance those who want to continue to college. It all happened before his grandmother died.
After his grandmother died, the stewardship of the orphanage that was handed over to his mother was not properly managed. Their father slashed the parlors in large numbers. When his mother left, Carlotta was too young to understand anything about orphanage finances. His father takes care of everything, but clearly, Carlotta knows his father won't take care of the parlour properly.
He hated to admit this, but his father was greedy and not as generous as his grandmother. He is a man who needs a confession. His pride is severely injured when his wife chooses to run away with another man. Carlotta hated seeing her father destroyed, but the girl hated it even more when the parlour was abandoned.
Seeing the current state of the parlour, Carlotta secretly felt grateful that Alessandro had taken over. The orphanage is in much better condition. The building is refurbished, the rooms are warmed for the winter and cooling for the summer. The interior is not fancy, but everything is functional. Most of the furniture is new. Only a few are preserved from the heyday of Grandma Carlotta. Only the old furniture is still really good.
There are two rooms left in the parlour. The first is the guest room. Large room. There are two giant windows facing directly into the front garden. The bed is queensize. The second room is upstairs. Because it is reserved for small children, the bed is narrow. The room is not spacious. There's only big vents in there, not windows.
Carlotta chose a smaller room, because according to Aunt Valentina, Alessandro sometimes came to the parlor and stayed overnight in the guest room. Don't let Alessandro find him there. If Alessandro ever goes to the parlour, Carlotta plans to hide in her small room upstairs and lock the door.
However, Carlotta did not have to worry too much. After all, Aunt Valentina said, Alessandro was never there long. He would only come to monitor the financial condition of the parlor and make a donation, then leave. Apparently, it was not just this orphanage that was the priority of the man. There are many parlors that are officially managed by the Ferrara family. However, it was this parlor that was specifically taken care of by Alessandro. I don't know why.
Carlotta was glad Alessandro didn't take down a picture of his grandmother from the entrance hall. Her grandmother looked beautiful in her youth. She was wearing a plain black dress and a pink brooch. Her smile is so sweet. The photo was taken long before Carlotta was born, but now Carlotta can see her resemblance to her grandmother. The difference is, the grandmother made the Marinelli family successful, and Carlotta was the one who caused the downfall of their family.
"Are you ready, Miss Carlotta?" Aunt Valentina calls Carlotta who appears to be drowning in daydreams while looking at her grandmother's painting.
"Of course." Carlotta rushed to the front yard, following Aunt Valentina. "Let me do my own shopping, Auntie. You have to watch the kids."
"Is that really okay? But your stomach...?" Aunt Valentina pointed at Carlotta's belly which was beginning to appear enlarged. Her pregnancy has entered the age of 20 weeks.
Carlotta laughs. "It's okay, Auntie. In fact, the doctor said, the second trimester is the best time to exercise. I wasn't as nauseous as I was in early pregnancy, and felt my body fit again. My stomach is not too big. I won't get into much trouble."
Aunt Valentina looked at Carlotta worried.
Carlotta immediately snatched the shopping cart from the older woman's hand. "The market is only a kilo from here. I need a morning walk. Let me go alone. Okay, Aunty?"
"Alright," Aunt Valentina said in the end. "But you have to be careful, honey. Don't walk too fast. If you're tired, stop for a minute and sit down in a store."
Carlotta smile. "Then, I'll stop by for a bit for a sweet drink."
"Don't do too much, huh? That's not good for your baby."
Carlotta nodded. He smiled at Aunt Valentina and immediately sauntered out of the parlour.

Alessandro thought, this time he would recover faster because he had been used to getting rejection from Carlotta. However, in reality, he had not recovered even after many months. Stagnant business. He was not to lose, thanks to Lombardi's prowess. His mind kept on messing up. His brief encounter back with Carlotta continues to haunt his life.
Maybe Alessandro shouldn't have done a spate of revenge plans. Instead of being satisfied after seeing Carlotta, for some reason Alessandro's heart was in pain. The pain of his heart doubled. He feels pain for himself who can never be self-conscious and stops chasing Carlotta. He also felt pain for Carlotta who felt the need to act as far as leaving his glorious career to be free from Alessandro's disorder.
"It looks like you need a new atmosphere, Signor. What if we have a meeting this time somewhere else?" Lombardi.
Alessandro tried to return his focus to the documents he was supposed to be reading, not just looking at. "Good idea. Any suggestions for a fun place to have a meeting?"
"Since our subsidiary's client this time is from America and engaged in tourism, I would like to propose we rent a tourist spot." Lombardi.
"Which tourist spot?" Ask Alessandro.
"A tourist spot outside the city of Rome would be better. Americans must be familiar with the mainstream tourist attractions in Rome."
Alessandro. "good. I think I have a suitable place."
"Where is it, Signor?" Lombardi asked.
"Juliet's House. That place is in Verona. Rent that place for a whole week. Pay losses at their highest income per day if necessary." Alessandro issued the order.
Lombardi nodded obediently. "You're going there for a meeting too, Signor?"
Alessandro nodded tiredly. "I trust you with this project. I'm not doing so well."
Lombardi knew, the circumstances meant by his master were not about physical. It's a heart mess. Ever since Miss Carlotta left, her master has been cranky and more out of control. Everything provoked his emotions quickly. If you have to deal with annoying clients who are impatient, Lombardi is also afraid that his master will get out of control.
"You can come to the project inauguration conference. This is the first time Ferrara Group has opened a tourism subsidiary. At the very least, you have to deposit face, Signor."
Alessandro waved his hands riled at Lombardi's long lecture. "I knew. All right, I'll come at closing. Now, go and let me lock myself in peace."
Luca Lombardi almost spouted a laugh. He hurriedly left because Alessandro was already glaring at him.
