Revegenful Billionaire

Revegenful Billionaire
Chapter 10 | Special Guest

When his two younger siblings ate pizza and pasta the next day, Carlotta was required to return to his diet. All foods that you enjoy should be sugar-free, flour-free, and flavoring-free. There should also be no alcohol except at certain festivals. Marco Bruni set the whole diet for Carlotta according to the advice of the professional nutritionists he employed.

Carlotta was rather surprised when one morning, Marco came with a bottle of brandy in his hand, and thrust it at the girl.

"What's up, Marco?" Carlotta was really worried about seeing the sighting of her best friend this morning.

The man's hair is tangled. His eyeballs were red and his eye bags were large, like people who had not slept for days. And it's not usual for Marco to let a few strands of sideburns grow.

Marco shook his head and said there was nothing. However, Carlotta knew the man too well to believe him. "You can tell me, Marco. You know that, right?"

Once again, Marco nodded. "I'm just a little tired after taking care of some of your preparations for this latest movie. I still have to meet Mrs Claudia Sevillo tonight to discuss your script."

"Oh, Marco. You really work hard." Carlotta patted the man on the shoulder slowly. "For the night, let me see Mrs Claudia Sevillo. Where's the place?"

Marco sounded unsure. "I've reserved a suite a few days ago that we used to celebrate your achievement. Are you seriously coming?"

Carlotta laughed softly. "Why not? I don't have a special event tonight anyway."

"Did it interfere with your special non-event? You paid me a fortune to take care of you. I can't interrupt your private show, Carlotta."

Carlotta pinched Marco's cheek in anxiety. "You're not bothering me, Marco. This is, right, about my job too. I can take care of this one."

Marco ruffled his own hair in frustration. "I can only pray that everything is okay."

Carlotta was not suspicious at all. "I heard Mrs Sevillo wasn't that scary. What are you worried about?"

Marco smiled weakly and shook his head. "This is a big project. I just pray that you're given strength to live it."

Carlotta laughed out loud. Removing excessive sentences has indeed become a characteristic of Marco. "You're why, anyway? Your words seem to imply that tonight I will be led to the gallows."

Marco looked at Carlotta in horror. "Don't until that happens, God. Don't make it!"

Carlotta laughed again. "Usually you're not a religious person?"

"I will be a religious man for today and pray for you, Carlotta."

Carlotta immediately hugged Marco lightning. "Oh, how sweet you are. Thank you very much!"

Alessandro was amazingly presentable at dinner tonight. Not a formal look with tux, indeed. However, somehow Mrs Ferrara felt the appearance of Alessandro exceptional. Is it because of his turtleneck plain white sweater? People say boys look more attractive in white, while women are more attractive in black.

Or is it because Mrs Ferrara observed Alessandro unconsciously humming a little during dinner?

Alessandro's grandfather commented first. "Are you going to go see a girl after this?"

Alessandro put down his fork and spoon, then chuckled. "Why did Grandpa guess like that?"

Grandpa Alessandro shrugged his shoulders. "Tonight you reminded me of myself, decades ago, when I first asked your grandmother out."

The grandmother was embarrassed. "really?"

Grandpa Alessandro nodded with confidence. "I can't stop being nervous. Nervous but happy. So I subconsciously ate quickly and wanted to quickly go see you."

Ah, just this time Alessandro was envious of the two of them. Loving each other until the age of twilight.

"You're going on a date with a girl tonight, honey?" Lady Ferrara broke the reverie of Alessandro.

Alessandro lifted his gaze and looked at his grieving grandmother. "No, Grandma. It's business. Old unresolved affairs."

Signor Ferrara, who was more senior, let out a disappointed sigh. "You've been very successful with your work, son. We just want a grandchild now. Give us the heir."

Alessandro laughs. "Grandma didn't tell Grandpa that I didn't want to get married, did she?"

Grandpa grunts. "I already know, and I disagree. We've changed, Alessandro. Any woman you can marry. We've lowered the criteria this low, and you still don't want to get married?"

Alessandro laughs. "No."

Lady Ferrara raised her hand to mediate. "I have a hunch that Alessandro is getting married this year. Just look at it later."

Carlotta did her hair quickly. He had heard, Mrs Sevillo did not like someone who was too 'fake'. So, Carlotta doesn't wear too much makeup. The dress she wore was polite with simple cuts. He chose a well-known brand, in hopes of meeting Mrs Sevillo's class standards.

Marco booked a suite at his favorite hotel, Fendi Private Suites. The hotel is located in via della Fontanella is very accessible. Some of his officers had already memorized that Carlotta was one of the special customers there. They even have a garage with carvings of the name Carlotta. When he arrived, a valet officer approached Carlotta's Alfa Romeo and took over.

"Welcome back, Miss Carlotta. Signor Bruni booked a room on your behalf. Your guests have been waiting."

Carlotta was surprised. Miss Sevillo arrived earlier than she did? Carlotta did not think that the scriptwriter was a very dedicated person.

"Grazie's." Carlotta handed over her car keys, then entered the lobby in somewhat of a hurry. He did not want his guests to wait too long.

Upon arriving at his suite, Carlotta opened the door and was further shocked that the light had not yet been lit. When Carlotta turned on the lights, there was no one anywhere. As far as the eye can see, only a suite with shades of beige and gold. The combination is soothing as well as very elegant, according to Carlotta. The sofas have not yet appeared occupied by someone. No ladies handbags on the table, or on the nightstand.

The balcony door was open.

"Mrs Sevillo?" Carlotta walked slowly towards the balcony. "I'm sorry for coming late. I hope you don't wait too long."

It was a shock for the girl when the person she was facing on the balcony was not Mrs Sevillo.

Alessandro Ferrara.

Five years have passed since their meeting at des Angelo's party. Ten years since he kicked the man out of his home in Verona. And now, Alessandro stood firmly before him.

Carlotta's heart seemed to jump from where she was when Alessandro walked over. "I've been waiting a long time, Carlotta. Very long." Said the man. His voice did not sound friendly, but it was exactly like that night at the des Angelo party.

Threatens.

Carlotta subconsciously took a step back. His brain told him to escape as far away from here as possible, while his little heart wanted to stay.

"You're not going anywhere tonight, Carlotta." Alessandro Ferrara said in a final tone.

And Carlotta should have listened to the danger sign in his mind.
