Pilgrimage To The Tomb

Ever since I knew Kenny couldn't completely forget Felly, he's still quietly looking at her picture, reminiscing about it, even keeping her name in the deepest recesses of his heart.

I've resigned and demand nothing more, if Kenny still remembers Felly or not, he loves me or not, I don't care anymore.

Now I'm just focusing on the fetus that's now in my belly, the seed that came from Kenny, the man I love so much.

This morning as usual, Kenny would wake up and take a shower, then pack up to school.

I haven't been to school for a few days, I'd rather be at home, be able to look after baby Al, be able to cook Kenny's favorite food or read a book, my mind is calmer too.

I started to prepare breakfast at the lower dining table, Mbok Sumi and Mbak Nur helped me.

Kenny came down with a tie that was not yet attached but, he was indeed less smart to put a tie on.

I swiftly tidied up Kenny's tie, so that the man in front of me looked very handsome and charming.

"Thank you Din!" kenny said.

"Yes, now you eat!" I said while starting to help Icha get her breakfast.

"Mom didn't go to school?" ask Icha.

"No Cha, the mother at home is the same as Dedek Al, later on the mother will also definitely go to school again!" my answer.

"Okay ma'am, I'll be home with Papi?" ask Icha again while looking at Kenny.

"Yes Cha, Icha will come home with Papi!" kenny Sihut.

After finishing breakfast, Kenny hurriedly led Icha to walk towards the car garage, Icha started to get into the car.

"I'm saying good to Din, you're fine at home!" kenny said as he kissed my forehead.

"Yes Ken, be careful!" my answer.

After that Kenny immediately got into his car, and soon the car was already driving away from home.

The time had already shown at half-time by two noon, but Kenny and Icha had yet to come.

Though today I have prepared a special menu at the dining table, hoping when they come to eat together.

Usually they will arrive home at 12 noon, especially the distance from home to school is not too far away.

I sat waiting in front of the porch, baby Al stone just slept after finishing one bottle of milk.

Suddenly Dad came out from inside and sat down next to me.

"Waiting for Kenny and Icha, Din?" ask Dad.

It's 4pm, Kenny and Icha haven't come home yet, I'm starting to worry.

Actually, I've been wanting to call Kenny a lot, but I'm prestige too, not wanting to look so worried about him.

Even Kenny, didn't give me any news. Why should I contact him first?

From the porch I turned inside and sat on the sofa, my mind started to get restless, where did Kenny and Icha go.

While the food that had been on the table since noon had started to get cold, even I missed lunch just because I was waiting for them to come home.

"Kenny??" I cried when I saw Kenny standing in front of me. While Icha was seen directly into his room accompanied by Mbak Nur.

"I'm sorry I came home late Din, I had a little business!" kenny said.

I immediately nodded my head, my heart was very relieved, at least they were fine.

"You guys have eaten yet? I've prepared at the dinner table!" I said I was hoping they would eat soon.

"Sorry Din, I ate on the street, maybe tonight! I'll go upstairs first!" kenny said.

I stared at Kenny's departure.

My stomach was rumbling with hunger, I remember in my stomach there was a Kenny fetus, he needed nutrition, I rushed to the dinner table, I ate alone at the dinner table.

"Why eat alone, Mom?" ask Mbok Sumi who is mopping the floor.

"Yes Mbok, Kenny and Icha have eaten on the street!" sahutku.

"Oalaa, if you know what Mom Dini ate first from earlier!" mbok Sumi.

"It's okay Mbok, Kenny was having business!" I said.

Soon Icha appeared from her room already with a change of clothes.

"Mom, where's Dedek?" ask Icha.

"Going in the same park Mbak Nur!" my answer.

"Mother haven't eaten yet?" ask Icha again. I nodded my head.

Icha sat down next to me.

"Icha want to eat?" tanyaku.

"No ma'am, still full later, I was brought to eat with Papi when I came home from the tomb!" Icha. I stopped my eating.

"Return from the tomb?" my many.

"Yes, Mom, when he came home from school, Papi said he said Papi kangen with Mami, then took me on a pilgrimage to Mami's tomb, there Papi lama Bu, so we just came home now!" icha.

I was silent to Icha's story, and Kenny said he was having some business, why wouldn't he be honest with me if he visited Felly's grave?

As if she was honest, though I was sad but I felt I was valued as a wife.

Is Kenny afraid I'm angry or jealous if he's honest with me, but I already know, I'm sad because Kenny has lied to me.

"Mother why?" tanya Icha broke my daydream.

"Oh, no Cha! Thats okay! Icha play with Dedek Al in the park huh!" I said to divert the conversation.

Icha immediately ran small towards the garden which was next to the house.

My food was not finished, suddenly I became no appetite.

After cleaning the dining table, I went upstairs, just to relax my tired body from waiting for a few hours.

Our door was not closed. I looked up from the door, Kenny was standing in front of the closet looking at Felly's picture frame again, now I know Kenny is keeping the picture frame behind the folds of his clothes, why did he hide it from me.

"Kenny!" call me.

Prangs!!

Suddenly the picture fell out of Kenny's hand.

Kenny glared at the picture frame that was now smashed into pieces.
