Guarding the Heart

I returned the paper Kenny had written on the back of Felly's picture frame, after which I put it back under Kenny's pillow.

I wiped the rough of my face that kept getting wet because of the tears that were flowing.

True to my feelings, Kenny could not just forget about Felly, even though he was so sweet to me, his attitude was polite and kind, but in the deepest corner of his heart, there was only the name Felly.

Until whenever I can't replace Felly, I'm back to being jealous of the dead.

I heard the sound of the door opening.

I hurriedly pulled out the blanket and covered almost my entire body, even my face.

I felt Kenny start lying next to me. He didn't talk to me and touch me, maybe he thought I was sleeping.

I just don't want Kenny to see my tears.

Not long after I heard her soft snoring, maybe Kenny had fallen asleep, slowly I opened the blanket that covered my entire body.

True to my guess, Kenny was asleep, his face was so sweet and calm, I immediately woke up and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I began to shower and wash my face, a little while I was in the bathroom, just to calm my mind.

By the time I got out of the bathroom, Kenny was no longer in bed, no matter where he went.

I held up Kenny's pillow, Felly's photo was no longer there, maybe Kenny had it stored somewhere.

After I was neatly dressed, then I carried the thirsty-looking baby Al, I then carried him, then I immediately went downstairs.

"Dedek Al is thirsty, Mom?" ask Mbok Sumi.

"It looks like Mbok, ask for help to make milk Mbok, I invite him to walk for a while, so as not to cry anymore!" I said that directly walking towards the front.

On the front porch, Kenny appears to be talking to someone, after I peeked out of the window, I knew it was Leo.

Leo is married to someone, he should be happy.

I ignored my feelings of jealousy because I knew Kenny's heart wasn't entirely mine.

I sat down to join them.

"Hi Le, how are you?" my many.

"Well Din, you can finally get married to Kenny too, I'm so happy for you!" sahut Leo's.

From the radiance of Leo's eyes, I felt he kept stealing glances at me, Leo had expressed his feelings for me several times before, but I always refused.

It's not because of anything, I've been dead love with Kenny, nothing can replace Kenny's position in my heart.

"Why baby? This is Felly's son, right?" ask Leo reassuringly.

Baby Al did look fussy, shortly afterwards Mbok Sumi came with a bottle of milk for baby Al.

"He's just thirsty, no fuss, it's Dek!" I answered while starting to breastfeed baby Al.

"Why not suckle in Din? The night breeze is not good for babies!" kenny suddenly said.

Kenny didn't want me to hold their conversation, I don't know what they were talking about.

"In the heat it's sultry Papi, so it's okay outside just for a minute!" sahutku.

Kenny seemed to be silent, no longer refuting my words.

If in front of Kenny people are cold and indifferent to me, even he tends not to be romantic.

I know the answer, his heart is not entirely mine, there is still Felly who controls part of Kenny's heart.

"Ah, the hell time Le? Maybe it's because I'm two, so I look fat!" sahutku.

Leo seemed surprised to hear my statement, his eyes glared at me.

"What Din? You pregnant? So fast! This is Kenny's son, right??" ask him half in disbelief.

"Well, it's Kenny's son, neighbor's son!" my sergeant.

Kenny was silent without giving any response.

"Congratulations, Ken! So happy in this house, so many kids! Well, you're great too Ken! Two babies at once!"'exclaim Leo.

"Ah you're Le, it's normal!" kenny said.

Whahuh? Kenny thinks my pregnancy is a normal thing, no no, I have to be strong, I must not be hurt or sad, it's enough that it's a matter of time, I have to be tough, at least in front of Kenny.

"How's your wife Le doing? Why not bring it here?" my many.

"Oh, he's fine Din, only we haven't been given a child, but I'm the one who married before you!" leo said, his face looks sad.

"Please Le, we'll only be a few months apart, soon your wife will be pregnant, so dong brought here, so that it can be snared!" my word.

"Yes Din, he wants it too, just now he's at his parents' house!" sahut Leo's.

"Well, you split the bed!" cetus Kenny suddenly.

"Well while!" answer Leo.

After Leo left, he left the house immediately.

I don't know why I caught something in his face, something in his heart, just I don't know what it is.

Kenny immediately invited me into his house, then I sat on the living room sofa, baby Al has been taken over by Mbak Nur, Icha seems happy to play with his little sister.

Kenny walked over from the kitchen, he brought a glass of milk and thrust it at me.

"Drink Din, this is pregnant milk, good for your growing fetus!" kenny said as he sat beside me.

I sipped the milk to the end, actually my stomach was very nauseous, only I learned to appreciate Kenny's attention.

"That's smart, the milk's out!" kenny said while stroking my head.

My heart warmed, but it soon disappeared after I remembered the photo of Felly I found under Kenny's pillow.

"Mom! Dedek time can roll around and sit alone!" yell Icha suddenly.

"Oh yeah? Where's this you look!" I immediately approached Icha who had been busy playing with baby Al and Mbak Nur on the carpet of the room.
