I didn't think I was coming back to this house. A large house full of luxury items but it somehow feels empty.Padahan servants in this house alone amounted to about twenty people. It looks crowded, but in reality it is empty.
One thing I am grateful for, my presence this time was not because it was forced like last time. At first I wanted to ask Hengky to take me home to Kosan only. But seeing the nurse who was busy treating Hengky's wounds made my tongue run amuck. Yes, it was unethical when the group was on the way to the house of Hengky but I instead asked to be delivered to the boarding house.
“This is an online taxi?” maybe that's what they'll say if I keep forcing my way to the boarding house.
But the biggest reason that kept me from opening my mouth was because I was afraid of provoking Hengky's anger. He who was heroic protecting me would feel like a joke if I suddenly said, “get me down at kosan.”
Just imagining it gives me the creeps.
When he arrived at his house, he tried to make me comfortable by placing me in a different room with him. Surely while being supervised by a nurse who was deliberately asked by Hengky to stay for three days in his house.
Three days that felt really fast. Unlike usual, I who usually feel uncomfortable living in a man's house now began to feel like living in my own house. Hengky really treated me very well.
Unlike before I was barred from leaving the room, this time I was allowed to go wherever I wanted. Although of course I am the introvert will feel embarrassed if with full confidence around pretending to be like the owner of the house.
The servants will probably greet me well, serve me just as they serve their master, but the content of the human heart, who knows?
As a result, almost all day I was only in the room or went to the big window in Hengky's room. Talk lightly, ask the news, then watch a movie together.
Thankfully, it turns out that the wound at the Hengky temple is not so deep that it does not require a skin suturing action to close the wound. His elbows and knees were bruised as well as small cuts. Maybe it scratched a piece of glass. On the third day, Hengky still wore plaster cuts on his forehead, elbows, and knees.
I who from the beginning did feel fine still not allowed to go home by Hengky on the third day. The nurse had been home since this morning. The house wasn't as big as three days ago.
One thing that makes me curious, where are Papi and Mami Hengky? There's no way they don't know about the news of their child's accident, right? Moreover, Papi Hengky was in the same city on the day of the incident.
The only ones who came to visit were Om Hari and a few people from the company. I only caught a glimpse of them when I just got back from the park.
On the third day, someone I hadn't seen for a long time came to see. Someone who once carved a smile on my lips but then scratched a deep wound that even today I still feel.
Andy smiled when he saw me out of the room, he raised his eyebrows when he saw me,
“Wow...! What dream did I have last night so that I can see you here today.”
I, who was also in fact shocked at his sudden arrival, only replied to his words with a faint smile. Just a smile and then walk ahead of him to Hengky's room.
“You have memorized the room Hengky?” andy asked, bowing his body, aligning himself with my height.
“I don't think for three days here I was locked in my room?” ketus.
“It's been three days? Justjust wonderful. I don't know what has happened during those three days yeah.”.
His voice sounded very familiar in my ears. The tone of the probing voice while insinuating me.
Geck! poke!
“There is Andy here.” I cried a little hard, trying to pretend not to hear the sentence that Andy said earlier.
“Iya, Darling. Wait a minute.”
I nodded slowly. Trying not to look to the side because I knew Andy was looking at my face while trying to hold back a laugh.
“Still a long time, Darling?” I asked impatiently.
There is no lawfulness.
I'm getting uncomfortable being alone with Andy in this hallway. His eyes really made me careless.
Why aren't there any servants here? Aren't they usually very diligent pacing back and forth here every time?
Almost three minutes passed. What is Hengky doing inside? Why so long??
“Can't don't look at my face?” irked me. My eyes fixed on the door, not looking back at it.
Andy laughed, his hand tried to hold my head but on the ground when it almost hit my hijab, “It's nice to see you after so long.”
“Kakak is now gondrong?” tanyaku.
Wanting to not want the sentence to succeed made me look at him. He smiled gently while looking me in the eye. The round eyes I used to love. That eye view...
Hey, Naya! Be aware!!
I hurriedly turned my eyes away. My hand almost knocked on the door but the door suddenly opened.
Hengky smiled widely. Her hair was still wet, her face looked fresh. The scent of a typical male soap burst out as he asked us to come in.
Apparently he was taking a shower. Just deserve.
Seeing Hengky and Andy sitting together while occasionally laughing made me realize, their faces were nothing like it.
Hengky's face is very Korean and Andy who is a middle eastern style. No one would think they were cousins. Each of them has its own aura.
“So after so long, Naya is the first outsider you invited into Giant Tree?”
Andy looked back at me, he raised his left eyebrow. He knows very well, I used to love it when he teased me while raising his left eyebrow.
“Giant tree?” I asked while looking at Hengky, ignoring Andy who was teasing me.
“We called it a giant tree when we were kids. The mansion was vast, like a giant tree that was conspicuous in the middle of an oil palm plantation owned by Papi.” Hengky explained to me while walking to pick up some soft drinks in the fridge.
“Coffee?” ask Andy.
“Coffee, Nay?” Andy looked at.
“Eh? Kan Hengky nawarin Brother,” I replied confused.
Andy laughed, he nodded towards Hengky's sign of approving the coffee choice.
“Naya does not like coffee, Kak.” said Hengky relaxed while putting drinks on the table. He smiled at me and handed me the mineral water.
“Eh? Since when?” Andy looks confused, “First..”.
“If another person falls in love, indeed sometimes he becomes someone else in front of him.” Hengky cut Andy's sentence, “bedanya currently Naya does not need to be someone else when with me.”
Hengky calmly opened the lid of the mineral water bottle and handed it to me. It seems he did deliberately say that to silence Andy.
I smiled towards Hengky, “Still, Darling.”
“Hey, how's Auntie doing? Already home from Turkey?”
Hengky switched the conversation. He really understands if this conversation continues will feel uncomfortable.
Andy opened the lid of a coffee drink bottle,
“Then last night. I brought some souvenirs. I told you you wouldn't need souvenirs but Mama insisted. Said you used to love turkish delight and finally Mama bought a lot of turkish delight!” andy grumbled half annoyed.
“Tante just finished vacation?” manya curious.
“Back home, Darling.” Answer Hengky gently.
“Tante Emira? Eh? I don't know..” I reflexively turned to Andy.
Andy tilted his head slightly while smiling, “Why? You feel like you already know everything but it's nothing?”
I hurriedly looked away. Avoiding my surprise at Andy's heartbreaking questions.
Honestly, he's right. Andy told me so many stories about his life that it made me feel like I knew everything about him. But it turns out something this simple I don't know.
“Hey, isn't it natural that Naya just found out now? Again later she will find out after becoming my wife.”
Hengky grabbed my shoulder, he smiled looking at Andy. The domineering smile seemed to tell Andy that whatever happened between me and Andy, it was over.
“Oh yes? Did Naya also tell you that she can't marry a man carelessly? For example a man like you?”
