Prison of Love

Prison of Love
Fahri

#26

Entering the fifth week since Shinta was admitted to the Private Hospital near her home. His condition improved quickly, according to the Doctor, he will be able to go home today.

I put aside my pain and disappointment in Shinta. All I know is, in the last few days he needed me and I can't just leave him.

At least, what I did was because Shinta still owed me an explanation and for that I had to take good care of her. The sooner he gets out of the hospital, the sooner he'll answer any questions that make me cramped.

Luckily, the Police have also informed Shinta's Parents that Fahri has been successfully secured. Although Shinta repeatedly stressed that He did not want to bring this matter to court, but of course his Parents insisted.

Which parent is not hurt if the child is just his wayang, who is treated very well by his parents but treated like garbage by his lover?

Shinta's return process was quick. Shinta's face was already recovering. There was only a small bandage left over the temple. However, he was able to laugh, chat loudly and even sulk to his Parents.

Shinta lucky. His parents did not blame him for the incident. His father even blames himself for why that day he was so emotional that Shinta went out of the house without the knowledge of himself or his wife.

If I were in Shinta's position. Ah, I don't know what Abah and Mom are going to tell me. Or maybe they will ignore me because they think this is happening to me.

From a small, deterrent effect applied by Abah and Mother is always the same. If neither I nor my sisters obey, then accept the consequences yourself.

My last sister even held back the blood that came out of her head with just her hands and went to the hospital by herself. He was in a motorcycle accident. But Abah and Mother had forbidden him to go and he resisted.

Justright. Abah and I only came to see my sister once. The rest, I take care of everything.

It's amazing, isn't it?

On the way home from the Hospital, the police called Shinta's father. Asking politely, if the circumstances allow, they requested our arrival to the Police Station as witnesses.

I hurriedly called Hengky, requesting his arrival to the Police Station. He even said he would later tell Andy to come also as a witness.

Amidst the laughter of Shinta's parents who teased her son, I just smiled faintly. This car feels so crowded. I don't know why I have trouble breathing.

I don't know what's going on with me but I feel like my body is really weird. Cold sweat poured down my clothes, my body trembled and the cold felt so quickly spread through the bloodstream.

Oh my God... What is this?

Why does my breath feel so tight?

Surprisingly, every time I would meet Andy without Hengky, it made me feel this way.

Is this a panic attack?

Is the trauma I'm feeling this severe?

“Where is college without me, Nay? Sepi ya?” Shinta nudged my hand, she smiled as she raised both eyebrows.

"Ah, yaa-- Ha-ha-ha-yaa-seep.”

Hey, what are you doing, Naya? Act well!!

I hurriedly changed my sitting position, cleared my throat slowly and put a smile on my lips,

“Class is always quiet without Shinta. Om Aunt knows? He was very scary when the other group was presenting in front of the class. The question always sucks. No one doubts his watered-down brain, so friends think, why does he ask questions that are difficult to answer even by our Lecturers? There's nothing he needs to prove. Shinta is a student with the highest GPA in our major.

You remember the expression on Mr. Suyatman's face when he had trouble answering your question about ’If Men and Women live on separate planets, what will happen to those two planets?’, he said,

Oh My God's... Om and aunt should also see how Mr. Suyatman's expression at that time...

He tried to answer the fair without supporting a certain gender but oh no. he could not hide his hurt on his wife who had just cheated last month, and he. he.

Oh, naw... I screwed! Why am I this hot?

Shinta's mother looked at my face with a gaze that I could hardly understand, A gaze that clearly believed something was wrong with my face along with a stiff smile that was engraved perfectly on my lips at this moment.

“You're okay, Naya?” Shinta's father asked me without taking his eyes off the steering screen.

Shinta clasped my hand, she looked at me and whispered softly, “I’m so sorry, Naya... I’m sorry.”.

I reflexively release his hand, “Hey, I’m okay... Everything's okay.”.

The fake smile perfectly engraved on my face resolutely rejected the words I just said.

Who would believe I was fine if I saw my face pale, my hands squeezing each other, the words spoken hurriedly, and the temples drenched in sweat.

Yep. I’m not okay. I was trying to overcome my panic in my own way. Unfortunately, I messed up.

“Naya tired, Dad... Maybe he needs a break.. Could you please take care of the sound of his music, Dad?” Shinta grabbed my shoulder and then gently rubbed it,

“Rest, Naya... You soybean..”

“Awhile we arrive, how do I rest? Close your eyes while guessing where it is or close your ears while your eyes are open?”

Before my sentence was finished, I immediately realized, Ah, Shit! I screwed up again.

...---------------------------------------------------------------...

Hengky had arrived first and then followed by Andy. Either Hengky takes the car very quickly or Shinta's father takes the car too slowly.

“Yes God, I’m okay! Why should everyone ask that question?!”

No. no. I shouldn't be angry. I.. hey, why am I angry?

I looked into Hengky's eyes, asking for help.

Hengky sighed then pulled me into his arms, “Week is heavy huh, Nay?”

I didn't answer. My body responds well to Hengky's embrace. Slowly the panic disappeared. My whole body that felt cold was warm again. I could even feel the blood flow back to my legs and hands. Warm.

“You want to be here first or we go inside?”

I let go of Hengky's embrace, “We're in. I want to see Fahri's face.”

"You'd be surprised to see Fahri, Nay. I'll tell you now let's not be too surprised.”.

“Why? Is he more handsome than you, honey?”

Hengky laughs. She ruffled my hijab, “Hey, are there any men more handsome than me?”

I laughed while shaking my head, “You are the one.”

“Haruss... ! Gussa aku...!” Hengky laughed again then clasped my hand, “Yuk, we go in.”

Arriving inside, we were greeted with a voice of shouting and mockery from Shinta's father.

Hengky and I looked at each other, guessing what was going on inside.

“Less Ajar!!! You're accusing my son of teasing you??!! You're crazy, HUH?!!”

Father Shinta's face flushed. His burly body seemed to be difficult to overcome by several police officers beside us.

As I looked closer, my eyes rounded in disbelief.

Gee whiz... Fahris...

"Yes. He's like Andy's twin, isn't he? Although I know Andy is more handsome than he is.” Hengky looked at me, he was really good at reading my thoughts.

“But... but how can it be that similar?”

Hengky laughed softly, he put his lips to my ear, whispering softly, he said,

“People often think they're siblings. Fahri was an orphan since childhood. He had been working at Andy's house for a long time. Because of their age is only two years adrift, Andy already considers it like his own sister. But, since five years ago Andy cut contact with Fahri.”

“Why?”

“Drugs. Actually he was addicted to drugs since Junior High. Om Edy even nearly went bankrupt because Andy secretly sold almost a portion of his wealth assets to treat his addiction and cost Fahri who often went in and out of prison. But, as you see... she has not changed at all.”.

In the corner of the room, a very thin man, with a face that was actually handsome but his eyes looked sunken, lips chapped, and hair puffed glaring at me in our direction.

Her lips continued to laugh cynically seeing Father Shinta desperately restraining her emotions.

“Tell us, what have you done to My Son?!!” shinta's father's index finger points to Fahri. His eyes glinted in anger.

“What happened? You should ask your daughter first... What we have done so far..”.

“Bjakk!! My son wouldn't be like this if he wasn't close to you!!!”

"Hey!!! He has slandered my brother!! You think I want to be close to your son if he doesn't chase after me like he's after my Brother!! He is so obsessed with my brother!! L'm... I just saved kakaaakk...!!”

Andy who had seemed to be holding back emotions immediately jumped towards Fahri and then pulled his hand, “Pak! He's screwed! Maybe he's still under the influence of drugs.”

“Sorry, but brother Fahri is clean, sir. We had a test last night and the results were clean. He is not under the influence of illegal drugs.”

A policeman approached Andy. He brought a piece of paper as proof of the test results.

Fahri laughed loudly, he cursed and suddenly punched Andy in the face hard.

Being hit unprepared makes Andy stagger back. He held the corner of his lips that was bleeding.

“WHY SHOULD SISTER GIVE UP THE GOOD NAME OF BROKEN SISTER JUST FOR THAT DAMN WOMAN, KAAAKK?!”

Andy fell silent. He got up and wiped the blood from his lips. As he was about to approach Fahri, his steps suddenly came to a halt, his eyes as if looking for someone, he said,

“Where's Shinta?”

Me and everyone in the reflex room looked at each other. And we just realized, Shinta's missing.

While Father and Mother Shinta are frantically looking, Fahri's voice is deafening.

“I TOLD YOU, BROTHER! I TOLD YOU! BUT YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME!”
