Prison of Love
I'm The Savior

#24

As the police cars arrived and the sirens of the ambulance carrying Shinta slowly disappeared, I was still stiff beside Hengky's car.

My body is still trembling. Tears are getting out.

"Shinta is fine, Naya.. You heard that she was still trying to smile when you called her name?”

“Should have been last night we came, Hengky... we should have come that night as well..”.

Hengky hugged me tightly, he rubbed my head.

"You saw his body? He's battered, Hengky... I barely recognized his face... Oh my... Oh my... She was also bleeding, Hengky. Her clothes were full of blood.”.

I had trouble finishing my sentence. With a cry that does not want to stop and also the lips that tremble make my feelings more unreasonable.

The shinta... Oh my.... How could that cruel man be to you?

How many days has he been here?

It's worth the last time he called me three days ago. It's only right that he's not looking for my whereabouts, he's stuck here...

“Excuse me, Sorry Mommy and I want to ask you some questions, can you please have a minute?” A policeman of not too tall stature and a little fat smiled kindly to us.

“Pak, sorry...This is my girlfriend being very shaken at the moment. Can we talk later?” Hengky returned the Police smile, a very forced smile.

“Sorry, but..”

"We called you here, we reported the incident here. There's no way we'll escape!” Hengky cut the police sentence quickly. He seems to be starting to get emotional.

“Bapak... we only run according to existing procedures. Everyone without exception can be a suspect.”

“What?!”

Hengky who started to step forward with eyes full of emotion was immediately restrained by Andy.

I saw him running towards us. Of course everyone would turn their heads towards us if Hengky's voice was that loud.

“Goodnight, Father... Whoa, Mr Andri? Awesomeaa... how's it going, sir?” Andy shook the police's hand with a big smile.

The policeman squinted his eyes, trying to guess who the man in front of him was.

“Andy, Paak... Andy Nugroho..!” Andy tried to help the cop put together his memory puzzle.

As the policeman laughed, he patted Andy on the shoulder, “Yes God,, Andy, his son Mr Edy Sebastian Nugroho?? Jagaa... You've grown so big.. The more dashing you are now..!”.

Andy laughed, he nodded a few times listening to the police.

While maintaining the intonation of his laughter he walked towards Hengky and embraced his shoulders,

“This is my sister, sir! Name Hengky. Mr. Edward Kusuma Widiyanto's... I used to bring him here when he was this way.” Andy placed his hand next to his waist, giving Hengky a hint of height at that time.

Hengky who felt very uncomfortable embraced by Andy immediately lowered Andy's hand from his shoulder. He tried to smile just to mince the police chief in front of him. It seems like his heart is still upset with the policeman.

“Ya Tuhaan... His son sir Edward Kusuma?? Ooh yaa. of course I know. Ah, Sorry.. sorry... getting older, I'm getting harder and harder to recognize people these days..!” The policeman laughed then patted Hengky's friendly shoulder.

“The victim is my sister's best friend, sir. They're very close. It was only natural that he was very surprised at the moment. Could you please give my sister a minute to calm down, sir? Instead, you can ask me, I'm also on location”

“Ooh...of course... A minute yes..”

The police were seen calling his two colleagues. Not long before his two colleagues came and brought three bottles of mineral water.

He handed the mineral bottle to us while showing a concerned facial expression,

“Please drink first.. you must be very surprised...”.

Hengky almost laughed at the change in the way the police treated us, but was hurriedly nudged by Andy.

Stepping away following the policeman, Andy turned to look at me,

“Your girlfriend's motion has never changed. It's always explosive..”.

...----------------------------------------------------------------------------...

“Naya... Wake up, Honey.”.

I blinked my eyes. The sunlight felt very glare welcoming my eyes that were still not fully open. Ah, I feel like my body hurts all. Sleeping in the car is not a good option but right now I have no other choice.

“Where is Shinta?” my voice still sounds hoarse. I tried to smile towards Hengky.

He returned my smile while rubbing my head, “Kasian my girlfriend slept in the car... Does his body hurt? I took you to the hotel you do not want.” Instead of answering the question, Hengky was even engrossed in looking at my face.

“Enak good at sleeping in the car, proof I sleep well..”.

“Don't say you don't want to go to the hotel just because I'm afraid of anything..”.

“Eh? Whahuh? Not really..” I answered the belepotan.

I held back a laugh, took my eyes off her face, hid my reddened face.

“I promised you. You're safe with me, Naya.” Hengky grabbed my body into his arms.

“Sorry..” I deliberately lowered my voice intonation. It's so weird to apologize when I don't know what I did wrong.

“You're not wrong, dear..”.

Geck! Geck!

We were shocked by the sound of a knock on the window. Thankfully the window of the Hengky car is coated with Glass Film so that it is not visible from the outside.

“Shinta is awake.”

Andy frowned when he saw me throw my face away when the car window opened.

“Ah, we are in now yes?” I looked at Hengky's face asking for approval.

Hengky nodded quickly.

I had a little trouble walking with Hengky and Andy's long footsteps.

Why are they so fast?

Didn't they realize my mini size made my footsteps not as fast as them?

Their footsteps stopped in the Kenanga 3 VVIP room.

I don't really know the quality and facilities in this Hospital. But since we arrived last night, their service has been pretty fast.

Shinta who came immediately was handled by a doctor who was on duty. This morning he had an operation. I don't quite remember the doctor's diagnosis last night because of the overwhelming panic.

But one thing stuck for me. Andy and Hengky looked very worried.

I don't know if maybe it's because of the humanity that's in their hearts or because they realize Fahri is their friend or not.

When the door opened, I saw that both of Shinta's parents were already beside her.

Along with Shinta...Ah, Yes Tuhaan...

I ran to embrace Shinta. Tears came out of the cheeks.

Shinta tried to smile, she welcomed my embrace.

“Thank you, Naya... Maybe I'm dead if you don't come.”.

My cry grew louder when I heard Shinta say that. I clasped his hand which was filled with bandages. His face was really swollen. His left eye could not even be opened because his temple was badly injured.

His whole body was bruised. Without exception. The mature sapodilla skin is not even able to hide well bruised on its skin.

“Doctor said, roll the ribs the middle of his chest is broken. So the Om child must be immediately operated, because otherwise, it is feared that the sharp ends of the bones can puncture and injure the lungs. The result can be fatal if not treated immediately.

Oh yeah, Om also saw Shinta's shirt filled with blood last night. His mother saw it was so freaking out. Apparently according to the doctor said, he was whipped several times maybe with something rather sharp. His back skin was badly injured.

Thank goodness we also went through the visa process. Hopefully legal process will run soon.”

Shinta's father while holding back emotions told her about her son's condition. He wiped the tears that were dripping on his cheeks. Shinta's mother who had been crying from now on hardened her crying voice while hugging Shinta.

“Thank you, Hengky, Andy, Naya. We owe you guys a lot.”.

Hengky shook his head slowly, he walked towards Shinta's father and patted him on the shoulder,

“Naya saved Shinta, Om. We only help..”

“Thank you, Naya... Thank you..” Mother Shinta walked slowly towards me then hugged me tightly, “You guys are indeed true friends..”.

“Song... Andy, thank you for always being there for our son. Of you are still both small until now you are adults.”.

Andy smiled then glanced at me, “Maya has always been our best friend, Om..”.

I let go of Mom Shinta's embrace. Then look towards Andy.

Maya's? That Name....

Shinta's father laughed softly, rubbed his head and sat back next to his wife,

“Maya... Ah, Shinta has long refused to be called Maya. Maybe five years? Isn't that right, Nak?”

Shinta's father turned to look at his son.

I turned to Hengky and then Shinta, asking for an explanation.

“Naya? Did you know that Andy, Hengky and Shinta are best friends from childhood?” Shinta's mother asked me with a smile.
