55. The Maxston Family

"Good morning everyone" Feli's screams boomed throughout the room. He and Darren just got out of their room.

"Oh how much I miss this shout" Felix looked at his daughter longing.

"When did you and brother-in-law come?" Mike pulled out a chair to let Feli sit next to him. Feli immediately kissed his brother's cheek.

"Every night" she answered and sat down in the chair that Mike had drawn for her.

"How are you and my nephew" Mike rubbed Feli's stomach, which still looked flat

"Do you know Mike last night Daddy and Mommy were intending to give you a little sister again" Feli stared at Mommy and his Daddy alternately and who was stared at only silently and suddenly deaf. Felix with his newspaper and Mika who was brewing coffee for her husband.

"Good then. I can't stand being under Daddy. He always threatened to fire me"

To his left stood a man of Fellix's age and to his right a woman who also seemed to be Felix's age. And behind them were a few bodyguards dressed in all black

Are they mafia families? Darren, Feli, and Mike sat down

"No need to be that way, ma'am. Maxston" Felix sat down and followed everything.

"Is he my grandson?" The old woman looked at Darren longingly. Seeing the woman's gaze Darren's blood rippled. Same eye beads as him. Could they be Sean's Daddy's family?

"Do you still need to ask, ma'am. Maxston. Shouldn't you be able to guess just by looking at his face" Felix replied calmly but trust in his heart his emotions were turbulent.

"Who's your name young man?" the clear crystal fell from the old woman's beautiful eyes

"Darren" he answered briefly

"You look a lot like him" the old woman's voice trembled

"Let me hug you"

Darren looked at Daddy and his Mommy like a child asking for their approval. Felix and Mika compactly nodded. Darren immediately walked up to the woman and sat down next to the woman as soon as the man who was dismping her gave her place to Darren

The old woman stretched out her hand and Darren immediately greeted her. His heart raced fast and without realizing it his tears also fell. He was crying without knowing what he was doing.

"You look so much like him"

"Very similar" The old woman let go of her embrace to be able to look at Darren's face closer

"Mrs. Maxston is your Daddy's Mommy which means he's Grandma mu Darren" Darren turned to look at his Daddy hearing Daddy's remark. He turned to look at Mika and Mika nodded her head.

"Grandma" Darren's voice trembled. He looked at the old woman. The old woman nodded and the next second Darren hugged the woman back. Be happy? of course Darren is happy. All this time he did not expect to still have a family with the same blood. Darren was at a loss for words not knowing what to say. All he could do was tightly hug the old woman in his arms.

"Go home with Grandma, baby. Grandma needs you" and suddenly the atmosphere feels very gripping. Darren released his embrace wiping away the tears on the woman's wrinkled face

"And you know my wife Grandma is pregnant with your great-grandson" Darren smiled proudly and the woman chuckled at her and saw a sparkling look on her face.

"Honey come here" Darren asks Feli to come closer to him. Without being asked twice Feli moved from his place. He smiled as he stood before Darren and his Grandma

"Hi Grandma I'm Felicia Breyonna Mc.Kenzie the wife of your handsome granddaughter" Feli rubbed Darren's face. The old woman nodded and smiled

"Dog and hug Grandma dear" the old woman asked. Feli immediately hugged her.

"Then who are Aunty and Uncle Grandma?" asked Feli as soon as he let go of his embrace

"The beautiful woman is my daughter. The twin sister of Sean Daddy is your husband" he explained

"And this man was her husband" pointed to the man who was his Daddy's age.

"How are you going home with Grandma?" Back the old woman asked which made Darren look back at Mommy and his Daddy. He frowned as soon as he saw the flat expression his Daddy was showing. The expression that Daddy always shows when facing his business rivals.

"I'm sorry Grandma I can't decide now. I need to talk to my family first" he said cautiously fearing the woman would be offended.

"Alright dear Grandma will wait for your decision. But trust me, this old lady needs you the most" implied disappointment and sadness in her voice.

"Well, just like her we should excuse once again excuse our untimely reluctance to meet this" the old woman stared at Felix and Mika alternately. Felix just nodded, saying nothing.

Felix looked at Darren as soon as the Maxston family left. For a moment they were silent with clashing eyes.
