25. Darren's Little Friend

"Take care of yourself" Mika tightly hugged Darren's body.

They are currently at the Jhon F International Airport. Kennedy. Airports located in New York State United States.

"Yes Mom, take care of your health. I'll call you often" Darren returned Mommy's embrace.

"Be careful there. And always tell us." Felix grabbed his son.

"Yes Dad, don't worry about me. I was there for a month at most. Daddy takes care of his health too. Don't work too much. Poor your beautiful wife will feel lonely"

Felix chuckled at his son's advice. He really did not expect the son he grew up with was good at giving advice to him.

Darren took off his embrace from his Daddy. His eyes turned to look at Feli who had just stayed in his place. Mike can't come because he has to go to school.

"Love? You and Felicia?" he said not sure.

Darren nodded steadily

"This is my secretary" Allan explained. Darren only took a quick look at it and then nodded. There was no handshake or friendly smile on his lips. He clearly remembered his lover's order that forbade him to smile to other women because according to his girl his smile was too intoxicating. His heart suddenly warmed as soon as Feli remembered. After 12 hours of separation, he missed her so much.

"Long time no see Darren" Allan's secretary was friendly. Allan and Darren frowned. Moreover, Darren, this is the first time he set foot in his birthplace after 24 years. "Yes, almost 4 years I've been her secretary" Emily replied with a smile that still adorned her face.

"Oh that must be heavy. Allan is a very arrogant man, he must have made it difficult for you a lot" Darren deliberately raised his voice to be heard by Allan.

"You have no intention of moving. I'll give you a salary 3 times what he's given?" Darren giggled amusedly at his offer which sounded like seduction. He could not imagine what Feli would do if he heard this.

"I can hear him Mr. McKenzie" Allan who was standing in front of his car looked at Darren upset.

Emily chuckles

"I'll consider it" he said, accelerating his pace toward Allan and opening the door.
