11. Applying for Rachel

"What secret do you mean Darren?"

Darren and Rachel gasped at Feli's voice. They both turned to the doorway. There Feli was already standing with a full glance. Since when did Feli stand there? Did he hear everything? The question was danced on Darren and Rachel.

Feli snorted so as to not get a response to his question. He walked closer to where Darren and Rachel were sitting. He landed his ass in the seat right next to Darren. Feli put his head down on Darren.

"Darren hugged me, I've worked hard" whined Feli.

Without Feli asking twice Darren pulled Feli's head. Take him into his chest. Feli pinched the chest of that field.

"If you're tired of your job, stop. You know I can meet your needs" Darren stroked Feli's head fondly and sesekeli clenched his teeth tightly when Feli not only played his nose on Darren's chest but also his finger working on abstract drawing in the field.

Feli pinched Darren's chest

"I don't need that. I want you to marry me. That way I'll stop" Feli raised his head. Darren. Their noses touched.

"Hows it? You want to marry me?" Feli asked again as he blinked his eyes. Darren clucked then turned his gaze away from Feli's face

"Darren.I don't like it when I talk you turn your gaze" Feli pulled Darren's face back to look at him.

"Are we eloping Darren" said Feli lightly without burden.

"We're not the only people in the world who do this forbidden and despicable thing Darren. There are even those who choose to marry their own Daddy. There are even some artists among them..."

"Stop.stop that stupid talk of yours" Rachel interrupted Feli's remark

"And you Felicia Breyonna stopped sniffing Darren like a bloodhound. You look like a maniac"

Darren looked at Rachel. From his gaze Darren seemed to say thank you to my best friend. You saved me. Yeah, Rachel saw Darren holding his breath a few times and growling like he was holding something back. Of course the stupid Feli didn't notice it.

"You jealous?" Feli sumringah's. He let go of his embrace. He looked at Rachel enthusiastically.

"I told you to marry Darren. That way I can be free from this complicated love story. Forbidden love that claps one hand" Feli dramatized

"I can't let Darren go to another woman. But it would be different if it was you, Rachel. I can't imagine how happy Aunty Keyra is to have a daughter-in-law like Darren. Maybe this is like a dream come true for Aunty Keyra. Didn't Aunty Keyra have always admired Darren's good looks" Feli's face sparkled with excitement. Rachel and Darren just silently looked at Feli who was dreaming. What Feli said is true. If only the McKenzie family came to propose to him, surely Mommy Keyra without thinking twice would give up her daughter just like that because she really admired the good looks of Darren. He even regretted why he was not born in the same generation as Darren. And that often made Roland annoyed with Darren. Of course he did not dare to voice his frustration at his wife. He may not be given rations.

"I'm sure Darren would agree too. Isn't that Darren?" Still with a sparkling face Feli looked at Darren. Darren looked at Feli for a moment and then got out of his chair and sat down next to Rachel. Rachel and Feli frowned.

"Well Rachel marry me?" Darren clasped Rachel's hands together and took her to him. Rachel snorted in annoyance. Getting a sudden proposal from two McKenzie descendants is not new to him. Every two foolish humans frustrated with their story must have come to Rachel to ask her to marry Darren. They don't realize it's Rachel who's more frustrated to have to deal with the stupidity they created themselves. What a hard thing it is to reveal the truth. That way they will both be free from this complicated love story.

"That way you'll save us. More precisely save Feli from sin. You know I'm a normal guy, I don't know until when I can survive Feli's demonic temptation, Rachel. So marry me" Darren looked serious about what he said. But Rachel knew Darren didn't mean it with her words. Rachel's back is pissed. Staring at Feli and Darren in turn.

"You sure want to marry me to your beloved sister. Your eyes lit up as if ready to pounce on me" Rachel grinned at Feli with a mocking look. Rachel pushed Darren's body away from her. His grip was also released.

"Who let you move Darren. You even held his hand in front of me. You didn't hear he didn't accept your proposal. Back to your place!!" Feli looked in annoyance at Darren. Darren moved out of his place and sat down next to Feli. Feli wrapped her hand around Darren possessively. Rachel clucked in annoyance.

"So you expect Rachel to accept your proposal?"

"Aren't you the one who asked her to marry me. I just followed your will" Darren defended himself. It can be crazy if you follow the mind path of Feli which is of course that direction.

"And you're saying, Rachel, clearly, do you like Darren?" feli's eyes narrowed towards Rachel.

"I'll never like that stupid guy. And you know Feli he's had a woman he liked for 15 years. Don't you know that?" Rachel smiled cunningly looking towards Darren who was glaring at him.

"Who is Darren?" asked Feli coldly. He didn't expect Darren to have such a special woman. He has loved her for 15 years. That means that the woman means a lot in Darren's life to see the persistent flutter he loves that woman. Feli felt a tightness in his chest. Feli's love for 5 years was nothing compared to Darren's love for the woman. Then who's that woman? Do I know him? the question was dancing around Feli.

Rachel chuckles at the show in front of her. Two self-torturing fools who can't live without each other but refrain from living together.

"So Rachel who knows your secret is right?" still with his cold voice Feli looked at Darren.

"Rachel is just teasing you" Darren stared fixedly at Feli's brown eyes. If only Feli was sensitive maybe he would know who the woman was. That woman is him. Darren looked at him with love clearly in his eyes.

"Isn't that Rachel?" Darren turned his gaze to Rachel. Rachel just aimed her shoulders indifferently.

"It's up to you not to believe me" Rachel said Feli ignored Darren's stern gaze. Darren cursed it in his heart.

"Have stopped this ridiculous talk. Tell me how was your lunch with Allan?" Darren changed the topic.

"Good switch Darren" said Feli flatly. Rachel chuckles. Darren glared back at Rachel.

"walking smoothly. Besides handsome Allan a nice guy. I enjoyed it enough" Feli replied honestly.

"Yes it's obvious on your face that you enjoy it so much" Darren said without hiding his frustration.

"Are you jealous now?"

Darren did not answer Feli's question. He shifted his gaze in the direction.

"You don't have to be jealous. Didn't I ever say that even if the galactic star runs out I'm yours and you're mine"

Darren looked at Feli. Feli smiled

"Yes though it is undeniable that his good looks are very tempting. Any woman would willingly open her crotch" Feli smiled sweetly.

Rachel's laughter exploded seeing Darren's sour face growling in annoyance.
