44. Marry your Daughter
"We're home..." Shouted Feli as soon as he reached his family residence.
"What are you thinking about Darren? Take a patient away. Are you out of your mind!" Hardik Felix saw Feli and Darren. How surprised he and his wife were when yesterday afternoon they went to visit Feli and did not find him there. Darren just told me when they got to Venice.
"Oh Dad, I miss you so much. Happy Birthday Dad" Darren embraces his Daddy ignoring Felix's annoyance
"Ciihhh. I think you and Feli forgot about it" Felix replied to Darren's embrace.
"Your face looks sparkling. Are you so happy with your Daddy's growing age"
Darren chuckled then let go of his embrace
"Yes.of course I'm happy Dad. At your age that has begun to age you still look handsome and mighty. You're like a vampire who can't age Dad"
"Your imagination sounds very strange and silly son, did you make a mistake? Or you're selling some more company stock?" Felix probed
"Since it's your special day, I won't argue" Darren turned to look at Mommy.
"Mom.prepared we will have family dinner" he said as he embraced Mommy's shoulder and rubbed his arm
"Do you want to give a surprise to your Daddy" Mika asked who Darren immediately embraced
"But I don't know if Daddy's gonna like him" Darren sneered
"Whatever it is at least Daddy should appreciate your good intentions instead. All right, let's get ready and don't forget to call Mike to catch up" Felix told Darren.
"You really prepared something for Daddy?"Feli drew closer to Darren as Mommy and Daddy left
"Yes, at least I have to please him first before taking anything of his own" Darren bit off Feli's ear.
"Let's get ready too" Darren held Feli's hand.
At 7:30, they finally arrived at a star-rated hotel restaurant. The same thing as in Venice restaurant is also deserted visitors. There were only five of them there besides the waiter and the music player who liven up the romantic atmosphere in the room
"Gee..Daddy really didn't expect you to give me a surprise like this Son, Daddy was so moved. And thank you Son" Felix showed a made-up face
"But it seems like Dad needs to make sure of something" Felix thought for a moment and looked at Darren with an intimidating look
"Given that this is our family hotel restaurant, did you make any payment for the bookings you made?"
Darren chuckles
"As you said, Dad, this restaurant belongs to our family, why should I even bother paying for it"
"Huh.I guessed it!" Felix laughed mockingly
"You were never sincere to your aging Daddy"
"Of Dad, at least appreciate Darren's efforts to vacate this place" the spoiled Timpal Feli in Darren's arms. Darren chuckled at the plea of his lover.
"That's ridiculous. Appreciate the people who broke us?" Felix nodded in disbelief
"Oh Dad.Why do you count once" Now Mike's chiming in
"Oh God, it looks like my children are plotting to attack me on my birthday" Felix said with a look of a feigned sadness as he placed his head on his wife's shoulder.
Mika raised her hand and rubbed her husband's head
"We only use your restaurant one night and it won't make you broke baby. Or do I need to pay for it?"
"No. Let's eat and enjoy tonight baby" Felix raised his head quickly then pulled out a chair for his wife. If the queen who has spoken is indeed who dares to argue?
The 20 minutes they spent enjoying their respective meals were interspersed with laughs and of course a minor showdown between Darren and Felix.
"Evening is over" Felix said
"It looks like I was expecting too much from you son, if only a regular dinner we should be able to do at home instead" Felix showed a disappointed look
"Of course I won't let you down Dad. I haven't given you my gift" Darren moved out of his place
"Where are you going?" Felix asked as soon as he saw Darren walking out of his place
"Give me your gift Dad" Darren grinned
"Why am I pounding" Felix said
"Pray, may the pounding in your heart not be a sign of something bad Dad" Mike chuckled
"Aki's not sure he really gave you Dad's gift, just look at his grinning face" continued Mike pointed at Darren's face
"He's going up on stage, is he going to make a speech" Felix murmured. Mike smiled hearing it and so did his Mommy
"It looks like he's going to sing again" Feli said
"Again?" Ask her Mommy. Feli is aiming for the shoulder
"One..Two..Three.test.test" Darren tested his voice. Felix clucked in annoyance
"This song I present to honorable Mr. McKenzie. And earlier I wanted to say that I love you so much Dad. I am thankful God found us. Thank you for the love and affection you have given me all this time. Maybe you won't believe this Dad, but you're my idol, my role model and my inspiration in life. Hapoy birthday Dad, always be happy"
Felix chuckles
"What's wrong with him" he said
"It turns out Darren did make a speech" said Mike amused
"And here's your gift Dad, I hope your heart is still strong to receive my present" Darren pressed his piano keys. Feli smiled, guessing right. His girlfriend wants to sing again. But the question is what song will Darren sing? There's no way he's gonna sing Happy Birthday, is he?"

Felix, Mika, Feli and Mike were amazed to hear the song Darren sang. The song Darren sang this time was more stunning than the song he sang in Venice. Feli also really did not expect Darren would continue his proposal before his family. He thought they were going to talk about it at his family's house. Darren was always unexpected.
Felix smiled as he shook his head.

"Mom, Dad.I don't accept rejection" he said as soon as he stood before your Mommy Daddy. Mike whistled with admiration
"Oh Darren you're so adorable" Feli stood up and gripped Darren's face in a frenzy

"No Dad" they answered compactly
"Feli has accepted my proposal" Darren raised Feli's hand while showing Feli's ring finger wearing Darren's ring
"Then why are you singing that song to me" Felix upset
"Just to please you, Dad" replied Darren lightly
"May I throw this glass at your face son?" Felix took the glass in front of him
"If you want to confront your daughter, Daddy-in-law" Darren pushes Feli in front of him.
"Trust me I won't let you marry my fucking daughter" Felix maki vexedly
"Thank you Dad, I know you won't turn me down" Darren blinked his eyes and hugged Feli from behind
