Stunned, Carlen even sat down limp. This is an unexpected surprise. In times like these, a normal girl who had married Maxilian did not mention Maxilian by name when pain struck. How handsome Maxilian was, he knew. There were many girls willing to kneel down only to marry a Maxilian even though they all knew that Maxilian was a cold and cruel person.

But this girl, Julia Brasco, never mentioned her cousin's name even once. Is what this girl said true? That the relationship between this girl and her cousin was not what she thought. Didn't all this explain everything, that this girl loves a man named Aaron not her cousin.

Carlen was very limp when he found out the little secret he had just gotten. There was actually a girl who did not love a Maxilian even though she had now become his wife. Now that his eyes were completely open, he saw Julia more clearly. Approaching, and directly carrying Julia's body in front of his body. He can't just let this girl die. When Julia mentioned the man's name in between her pain, she knew the taste. He knew very well the pain Julia was feeling, also knew the pain Maxilian was getting.

Maxilian's steps were very wide entering the luxurious house that looked silent. He opened the door of the house violently and looked at every corner of the room. The first thing he found was Janet. The girl looked unconscious on the floor. His eyes widened once more and the second thing he found was Julia's shoes which looked still shiny even though the rope had been cut off.

He walked over, approached the shoe and picked it up. These shoes are here, but he doesn't see Julia. Clasping the shoe tightly in her hand, she turned her head when she heard Janet groaning softly.

Janet just realized and felt her back hurt to make her head dizzy. Sitting down he sewn his head through the sidelines of his long hair that looked tangled. He did not stare around, but the cold foreign sound was enough to make his body freeze.

"Where's Julia?"

Janet looked up, looking at the tall man who looked very handsome with a hand holding a shoe whose rope had been severed. Squinting her eyes she recalled that this man was the same man who had been kissed and hugged by Julia while at the atomic bar. Why is that guy looking for Julia?

"I don't know," replied Janet with a grunt.

But Maxilian's hand moved very quickly clutching Janet's jaw hard. "That's you! you made Julia run here! So where's Julia?"

Janet tried to release the grip on her jaw that was getting more painful. "I don't know. Or maybe he's dead."

The grip is getting stronger. Maxilian looked at Janet without blinking. His lips were tightly clenched but the strength of his grip was increasing.

"Lep-pass," Janet said in pain.

"You're the one who hurt him at the shareholders' meeting, right?" asked Maxilian coldly. His hand slammed Janet strong until Janet fell.

Janet woke up with her hand holding her jaw slowly. Staring at Maxilian with hatred. "It's just an unfiltered scratch. But he's suing my family like I killed him."

"So that's right? You hurt him and now you're trying to kill him? The Khiel family, from this moment on will never exist in the world."

Janet's eyes widened, "What do you mean?" ask her to hunt.

But Maxilian only stepped in by contacting someone. "Tomas, the Khiel, they don't want to live in this world."

Janet stood up, and grabbed Maxilian's hand from behind. "What are you talking about!"

That was so fast, Maxilian threw out Janet's hand hard as Janet pulled her sleeve. Janet crashes and hits the couch.

"Don't touch me!"

A gaze full of warning and disgust made Janet stunned. He did not dare to move despite feeling the pain in his body from being hit by the sofa. This man treated her very harshly. But those eyes continued to shower coldly on him until he cowered in fear.

The sound of footsteps hunting made Maxilian turn his head. Jeni came in and looked very rushed.

"Young man, this is bad."

Maxilian did not answer except to wait for the next report.

"Miss Julia was taken to the hospital by Mr. Carlen. It's a hospital in the suburbs. I've sent you the location point."

Maxilian is expressionless. He just stepped out and very quickly Maxilian's car drove quite fast. Jeni looked at Janet carefully.

"You, do you know Miss Julia?"

Janet looked up and nodded. "I'm his cousin."

The corner of Jeni's mouth was slowly drawn. "Miss, this way, I'll take you home."

Janet stood up, she followed Jeni without saying much. But he was quite wary considering Jeni was the one who was looking for Julia's whereabouts. But who would have thought that Jeni would take her to a very quiet mansion.

Janet looked at the mansion in front of her with a faint smile. "Can I ask you something?"

Jeni did not answer and just looked at Janet. Get Janet to voice her question.

"So, why are you looking for my cousin?"

Jeni frowned and felt strange. But then he began to realize something and his lips increasingly smiled thinly. "Did Miss Julia not tell you anything? That Miss Julia has married into the Lunox family?"

"That's what I know."

"The man she was referring to was young master Maxilian Jade Lunox. Husband of your cousin, Julia Brasco."

Janet turned her head and looked at Jeni unsure. "He's the principal holder of the Lunox family business?"

Jeni nodded. "Miss can wait for my young lady in this house. Make sure the lady just stays in the house and never try to get out of there."

Janet simply nodded without asking any further. She enters the house, and Jeni closes the door before leaving. His smile was so wide. He looked at the door of the house once more and felt amused.

"Bas stupid," he said slowly, "You'll soon be living in fear."

Julia just got off Carlen's car. His body was very weak and shivered with cold. His lips were tightly clenched with a red face that kept sweating. Occasionally a mild cough was heard accompanied by blood that kept trying to get out.

Carlen looks very worried. His face was pale and started to get scared. No matter the gaze of everyone who was looking at him bare-chested. Julia's condition is more important. He screamed and asked the doctor to do his best.

Some nurses came with a young doctor who directly handled Julia's condition. The main thing Carlen could do was wait outside the door as the nurses and doctors carried Julia's body into the icu chamber.

Another foot-wide step was seen entering the hospital hallway. Maxilian stared coldly straight at him knowing that Carlen's car was completely parked in the hospital. Her feelings start to get worse when she finds out that Julia is really in this hospital.

The wide but light footsteps made Carlen turn his head involuntarily. He was stunned when he saw Maxilian stepping towards him without a clear expression. His body slowly retreated, as the distance between them began to close. But Maxilian's question turned out to be so much faster that Carlen could not escape.

"What did you do to my wife?" maxilian asked coldly and stared intently at Carlen. He clearly saw that Carlen was not wearing any clothes and that there were blood stains on some of his face and body. I don't know why this time his feelings got worse. He looked at the closed icu door and then back at Carlen.

"Carlen, you gave me a reason to destroy you!"

carlen did not speak. His eyes were sharpened and he was not at all afraid of Maxilian's threat. He was just about to speak before the door of the icu room opened, making Maxilian and Carlen turn at the same time.

"Family patient?" the young doctor asked with a gaze when he saw Maxilian outside the room. "Mr Lunox, what are you doing here?" his question was astonished to see Maxilian staring at Carlen full of warning.

"I'm her husband."

"What?" the doctor was surprised. His eyes turned to Carlen in silence.

"I'll make a calculation later if you hurt my wife! Don't expect anyone to help you!"

Carlen silently heard Maxilian's warning. So did the doctor. Maxilian stepped into the room. Now only Carlen is sitting outside waiting. Shut up and squeeze her own hair violently.

That slow groan sounded faint. Some maintenance tools have been installed. At this time Julia looked a little calm even though her forehead was still frowning signifying the pain that was still felt. His blood stain was cleaned.

Maxilian froze, she looked at Julia who looked very weak. One fist tightened, several fogs of emotion flashed in his eyes.

"What happened to my wife?"

The two nurses who were inside earlier came out after the doctor hinted with his eyes. He then looked at Maxilian.

"He's your wife?"

Maxilian did not look, "Jack, you are currently working as my wife's doctor. Not as my friend!"

Jack was stunned, he forgot when they last met. But he's sure he's never seen Maxilian this bad. "Your wife, she's in very bad shape. He's in poison."
