Because of Destiny

Karlina cannot fight destiny. She plans to get married to Roby. Death takes away all dreams. One day after the graduation announcement, Roby left for good because of leukemia.

The malignant disease makes money powerless over everything. God is in power. Roby's parents grant her every wish. Including young marriage, the only request that is not fulfilled because the death has already picked up.

"Roby's departure forced me to accept this match," complained Vishnu on his way to a fancy restaurant for graduation. Gerdy and Nadine one car with him. Prilly and family trailed behind. The highways were not so congested that they could convoy. "I don't know how Andini feels."

Vishnu undoes his intention to show the video of the shur to his mother. She could not bear Karlina getting worse after the departure of her boyfriend. The girl no longer cared about her life, accepting resignedly whatever decision she made.

"So you're getting married soon?" ask Gerdy. "Umi didn't give you guys a tempo?"

"Umi wants us to get married after graduation day" said Vishnu. "All thanks for graduation."

"So a lot of time for you to think" Gerdy said. "I know you two are uncomfortable with this situation."

"I do not know there is still much time or has run out to organize my life," said Vishnu kecut. "But I don't want to be fixated on what Umi has determined."

"What are you, Lin?" nadine asked suddenly, quite surprising Karlina who had been silently looking at the crowd on the sidewalk. "I know you're not the one who likes to take advantage of opportunities. There's a man besides Roby in your heart?"

The question felt so overwhelming and Gerdy knew what the meaning behind it was. He tried to be patient to face his wife's concerns. Nadine fears that she is returning to the palace to live a luxurious life with her mother's chosen woman.

"Roby has broken his promise because of fate" Karlina bitterly said. "I'm waiting for the next fate."

"Don't give it up that way."

"I was so fiery to marry Roby, but fate extinguished my hopes. Today I refuse to marry Vishnu, if tomorrow fate decides to sit in the guarantee, what can I do?"

"You don't want to marry Gerdy?" nadine asked directly to the target.

"As long as you love your husband, luck is with you."

"My love wouldn't have been a landslide if the land that was stepped in was split in two."

"Then don't ask that question because the answer never exists" Karlina smiled faintly.

He wanted to close the chance for anyone to pry his feelings at Gerdy. Honestly he could not forget the memories that had happened between them. But it's past time to deliver. Stale.

Gerdy also must have not forgotten their togetherness. Many beautiful moments are created even without love.

Remembering the beauty that ever happened does not mean Karlina wants to repeat. He simply asserted that he had been present in Gerdy's life, even though only a pseudo-matchmaking.

Vishnu looked at Idyla who was fast asleep in the stroller. "I need a nephew for a successor to the dynasty."

"One thing is a problem" Nadine smiled wryly. "How two? My apocalypse. Just find a uterus suitable for removing a boy. I thought Karlina could give what she asked."

Nadine clearly supports the succession of matchmaking. If they get married, Gerdy is safe in his arms. He hangs out with the crazy rich in the office, not closed to the possibility of being tempted to go back in time, living with glory.

"I want to live freely like you" Vishnu said. "I'm tired of living with all attachments."

Gerdy is worried that what Vishnu says will come true later on. He said, "I don't want you to follow in my footsteps. Enough of one that was erased from the family tree."

"I'm not comfortable living like this."

"You can change the habits at home without Umi noticing."

Gerdy knows it's all about taste. Vishnu loves music and movies, while his parents love movies and classical music. They don't want to hear any other music in the house. The solution is simple, Vishnu live tuning his favorite movies and music if they are not at home, or live alone in an apartment.

"Women like Umi usually live long, so until I get old it is difficult to change the culture at home. I envy you guys."

Nadine smiles. "You don't deserve to live like us. Feudalism is no reason to wade through life like the average person. I want to live in your palace, live a life that everyone dreams of. But the opportunity for that is not there. So don't waste the opportunity you have."

Where the earth is put on foot is where we enjoy life, the proverb is suitable for them. Optimism is important in going through the days so that complaints do not arise. Vishnu saw their lives happy because they needed freedom, while they saw Vishnu's life was good because it needed a guaranteed future.

The key is treasure and love. Material happiness without love is like a robot with all routines, the happiness of love without matter is a human being with all limitations. Treasure creates ability, while love brings comfort.

Since childhood Nadine wanted to live like a family of kings, so she dreamed to be Gerdy's wife. Disappointed there must have been when he was his wife was not living like a family of kings. But disappointed it doesn't drag on. In his eyes, love is above treasure though not above everything else.

"Since lunch with them, you've been quiet a lot" commented Gerdy as he drove leisurely to his way home. "What's wrong?"

"Life is strange" said Nadine. "Vishnu wants to live freely like us, whereas our lives are bound by limitations."

'Then enjoy life as it is" said Prilly, who sat in the back with Mami and Mimin. "A few hours ago we became sultans in an exclusive restaurant, we enjoyed it well. Well, now that we're back to being ordinary people, we're also enjoying our real lives."

"I've become a scholar today" Gerdy said. "Tomorrow you and your brother will follow."

Nadine stared at half the protest. "I'm in college with the baby?"

"Don't make the child an excuse to put off ideals."

"You want me to be a doctor."

"You don't want to be a doctor?"

"I want to be the mother of your children."

"The hope has been realized. Then make your other dream come true."

"I work, you work. We open a shop. Do you still feel less?"

"Rubber."
