Let Me Go

Gerdy was surprised to hear the news. Katrin divorced. The divorce was disastrous for him.

Since the beginning Gerdy had suspected Datuk Meninggi and Sastro was not a good person, a young goat-spirited old bandot. The rest of her life was used to enjoy women. They have a chance to devour young leaves with the threat of the plague.

"Why didn't Katrin go through the law?" ask Gerdy.

"Katrin doesn't have any proof of letter."

"Letter is easy to make, now there are many mafia lands."

"The only person who can prove the letter is real or fake is Papi, and he's not caught where the hoard is."

Or maybe my guess is right, Gerdy's mind is gone. Katrin killed Papi. He knew the letter was fake, but did not dare to complain to the police because it would make him entangled in a legal case.

He was already haunted by feelings of guilt, but could have demanded them to prove the validity of the letter by asking for other evidence, not just a signature on the stamp.

Katrin can be based on irregularities in the buying and selling process. Papi has been declared missing. How could it suddenly appear for a transaction? How do they communicate?

"We can't possibly let your brother be a tramp" Gerdy said.

"He was offered to stay in this house, but he refused."

"Obviously refuse, because he knows you're so jealous of him."

Nadine actually objected that Katrin was staying with them. He will only cause problems for his family. It was still clear from her brother who wanted to sleep with her husband. But as a sister, he must offer a solution even if just a pleasantries.

"What is Mami's response?" ask Gerdy.

"He wasn't told, I thought it was just getting him back to the false hope of Papi's whereabouts."

"Katrin is not used to living poor. Can you see it?"

"He should be able to live like most people. He could not survive his life. He should look up to my husband."

"Not everyone can be like that."

"So you want me to sacrifice?"

"You?" Gerdy who was lying on his side simultaneously woke up in shock. His eyes looked closely. "They want you?"

"Which man doesn't want me?" nadine is arrogant. "It's a good thing I only have one love, as I promised."

"The house can be taken again by your family without the need for sacrifice."

"How is it? You only have assumptions, while they have evidence."

"Signatures are easy to fake."

"How can you prove that the signature is fake? No one in my family has ever signed Papi."

"So you're gonna give up?"

"It's not just them who's willing to trade the house for me."

"Who else?"

"Bradleys."

Gerdy surprised. His eyes stared unblinking. "Katrin's request or your proposal?"

"Passion Bradley through my brother."

Holy hooch! Is that guy crazy? Doesn't he know who Nadine is now? I already have a husband! Have kids! What is expected of his wife? While he could choose a thousand women who were single!

"He hasn't desperately chased after me" lamented Nadine.

"He can't be that crazy" said Gerdy in disbelief. "It could be Katrin."

"Love can make the impossible possible."

Gerdy wondered what Bradley had in mind at this time. Why are you still curious to have Nadine when the door has been closed. Or he just feels now is the most appropriate time to move forward. Perhaps he thought, it was better to enjoy the rest of Nadine's love than nothing!

"He was willing to buy both houses for me" Nadine said slowly. "Even move the palace anywhere. Maybe his brain hurts, if not his weird love."

Gerdy's mind floated on the man while resting his body back on the bed. Of course he had good reason to take his wife. The reason that does not fade is time, I don't know what. Clearly, he launched an attack at the most opportune moment! An opportunity he may have long awaited!

He was impatient to wait. No more playing in secret. When the opportunities were wide open, he blatantly wanted to snatch his wife!

There's such a man! Such a man is good at controlling life but so stupid in front of love!

Is it stupid to try to have a woman who is loved? Bradley is not stupid! Love is too smart!

Nadine herself was first solid with her stance. When Katrin goes back and forth shopping to her workplace, she tries to persuade him patiently to stay with her and live a new life.

He loves Gerdy. Not wanting to part with him. But if it had to be so soon abandoned by his son, his own flesh and blood, it feels more unable to anymore.

Nine months she fed Idyla with her blood, feeling her smooth kicks. Still imagined how heavy pregnant, how the pain of childbirth.

Three years she raised her son, watered with drops of affection, gave him life. Should it now hand over to the Angel of Death, while there is a chance to save it? Whatever the occasion?

The closer to the deadline, Nadine panicked. He felt as if he was waiting for his own death, as if waiting for a hanging.

Idyla is already showing critical signs, as it will end prematurely. And an extraordinary event happened to him tonight.

Idyla cried out in screams, her body convulsing, her face turning blue, her eyes glaring wildly.

With Nadine grabbing it. But the cry did not subside even though he had been carried, bought, kissed.

"Our son, baby!" nadine choked between panic and despair. "Why is this so?!"

Gerdy stood glued in confusion. He himself tried to entertain. But Idyla seemed to feel no touch of her hand, not listening to her persuasion.

Not knowing how else, Nadine finally cried bitterly while hugging her child.

I don't know where the power of crying is. I don't know where her tears are. Suddenly Gerdy found an answer there.

He noticed that Idyla was unceasingly floundering. Of course the boy was in terrible pain. Which could not be stopped by the cry and the hard bend of his face.

Unaware of Gerdy's tears falling. She never cried for her life, but she could not bear to witness her son's suffering. Not willing to let him go!

How devastated Nadine felt when watching the seconds of her son's death. How empty she was left dead her son. What happiness is left of his life?

It is the idea that is able to build his spirit to welcome tomorrow. Which makes his life meaningful, stoic, rigid. But it was the only provision of his life that soon passed from his side!

Gerdy has to make a decision tonight. He had to admit that he had lost everything!

"Tomorrow we take Idyla to the hospital," hissed Gerdy while suppressing the turmoil of feeling in his chest, when almost an hour of his son's crying had just stopped. Sleeping in his mother's arms. "He must be operated on immediately."

Nadine who was petting her daughter spontaneously raised her face, and looked at her husband in a stifling manner.

"cost?"

"You can talk to Bradley."

"No!" nadine screams for a moment. "Are you crazy?"

"Ityla must be saved."

"But not in this way!" nadine protests are fierce. "Not at the cost of your life!"

"I don't have a life anymore" murmured Gerdy ill. "Edyla's life is still very long."

Nadine stared at him with a pus. "You're tired of me? Wanna dump me?"

"Don't say that in front of the man who sacrificed everything for you." Gerdy looked on painfully. As much as possible to hold tears that almost spread. He did not want to cry over the failure of his life. "I have done foolishly by glorifying love, and now I must sacrifice for my son, my own flesh and blood."

Nadine had opened her mouth to say again, but what came out was even sobbing. She herself did not know who the cry was for, for herself, her child, or her husband?

She did not want to lose the husband she loved. He also does not want Idyla to pass from his life. But he knew he had to choose, with equally difficult choices.

Gerdy can read his inner upheaval. Nadine couldn't have left him, couldn't have asked for divorce. So he's the one who has to leave, who has to divorce her.

He knew his wife never told him that her career was increasing rapidly due to working at her mother Bradley's supermarket. He suspects that there is a role for the man in decision-making.

Bradley is preparing a trap to trap Nadine. And now there is a great opportunity to move forward!

So Bradley's request didn't come through Katrin, but from their meeting! Although there was no betrayal, yet he knew all about time!

Nadine has been dishonest because she does not want to live to suffer! He couldn't possibly obtain such a high position anywhere else!

Though their lives will be much happier if Gerdy first received an offer from Marliana's mother! Because it glorifies love too much, it ends up being stupid!

Now it's time to go!

At dawn, as Nadine was sound asleep, Gerdy gathered his things. Mobile phones, digital cameras, modems, laptops, and important files are all stuffed into backpacks.

His heart was bleeding, sick, poignant. But he knew he had to go, no matter how heavy. He wanted to leave this house before they woke up early. He couldn't see his son's hand. Idyla is too innocent to understand what happened to her father!

"I'm willing to divorce you" Gerdy wrote in his letter. "For Idyla who should not suffer. For the sake of you who should be happy. For the sake of your brother who doesn't deserve to be a game of fate. He looked guilty because life judged him."

"Let me go with my love" he wrote. "Although that love betrayed me. Accept the terms of your boss's son meeting you yesterday to save Idyla. He knows how to treat a loved one...."

When Gerdy came out of the door, his heart broke. The world is indeed a demon to desperate men!
