Nadine could not accept her brother's logic. Katrin willingly serves to save Mami from domestic violence. Misguided sacrifice, or just to the extent of his mindset about the meaning of sacrifice.

"You animals" angry Nadine. "You don't deserve to be called human."

"I don't care about the name" Katrin said calmly. "I only care about Mommy's safety. Papi takes an overdose and Mami is sick again. I don't want Mami to die serving her depraved lust."

"Sweet as your brain. You can let the Dajjal die for his own doing."

"You don't know how tortured Papi was then. The honor of the family does not rest if I refuse. He must have run to the neighbor's house to vent his desires. You still remember Papi spent three months in jail for slapping Bu Lurah's ass again! I don't want that to happen again!"

The corner of Nadine's lips lifted slightly. "As far as you know, Prilly and I have never had a drink in this house except to make it on their own. I smell your husband's stench."

"Look good" Katrin said, losing patience. "How do you think I avoided Papi's depravity? Locking the bedroom door and letting Papi bang around to let the neighbors come? Or let Papi fling to the neighbors to vent his depraved lust? Let's just how he's my dad! I don't want her name to get ruined!"

Nadine looked coldly. "That means you want me out of this house." 

Nadine hated the depravity that had happened to her family. No more honor can be preserved. Katrin's disappointment in life has ignored all norms and made this house a house of animals.

Nadine is getting round to buying a house. She wants to take Mami and Prilly away. One day his sister could be a victim, because Sastro is no better than Papi.

Nadine again read a magazine waiting for time while sitting on the sofa when suddenly surprised by the excitement of birthday singing, followed by the emergence of her friends accompanying the boarding mother carrying a cake. Bradley looked most excited. This must be his idea. Substantial.

"Today's your birthday" said the mother as she placed the cake on the table. "Once upon a time we celebrate."

Nadine hasn't celebrated a birthday since Papi's company went bankrupt. He thrived in the ferocity of life. Seventeen who should have been the most beautiful memories passed without a moment, and became a habit until now.

Mom is lighting a candle that forms her age.

"Don't say no" said the mother. "There's still time, right?"

His friends are encouraging, "Blow! Blow up! Blow!"

Nadine felt bad to disappoint those who had good intentions to give a surprise. The applause broke when the candle went out blown.

Costum kisses right and left cheeks congratulating and giving gifts. His friends one by one got a turn. Nadine was moved to feel their warmth and attention.

Bradley got his last chance, he gave a tiny gift of diamond jewelry.

"Happy birthday" Bradley whispered as he kissed his hand.

And Nadine was late pulling her hand. He was late to learn of Gerdy's whereabouts in the doorway. Who witnessed the incident with a disappointed look.

There was a painful sense of disbelief floundering in his eyes. Throttled. Crushed. Nadine forbids stopping by the lodge. There's a betrayal going on here.

Nadine never wanted to celebrate her birthday with him. He was never given the chance to enjoy such sweet moments. Moments where you can share your love on the most beautiful day. But tonight Nadine is willing to celebrate with Bradley!

His love is not the true love as it is given. The promise is just lip sweetener. Nadine is not as beautiful as imagined!

"Wait!" hunt Nadine as Gerdy turns away. "You misunderstood me!"

Gerdy came out the front door and walked to his car. When Nadine arrived at the yard, the car had already sped away leaving the lodge.
