For hours Gerdy was unconscious. And for hours Katrin waited for him in front of the ER room while incessantly crying. Various feelings whack his heart.
He did not suspect at all that the cause of the coma was because the function of his kidneys was disrupted. He thought that because of sleep deprivation all night completed the thesis and the morning went to work. The energy is drained. Why was Gerdy never honest that his kidneys were one? Why should he know from the doctor?
Perhaps Gerdy felt no need to tell a story. He wants to keep his pain tight. Or does he consider himself a nobody? It means nothing? Only Nadine can know her plight! The only precious woman in her life!
Honestly Katrin loves Gerdy very much. He was not disappointed when he knew he never loved her. He was happily allowed to love and live with her.
When a few hours later the closed eyes slowly opened, he was so happy to see them. No matter Gerdy felt the tremors of his heart or not. He knew he shouldn't be the one sitting in the ER room. He knows who to expect. But she had fun with her husband in Hawaii!
Nadine came in after a few days of Gerdy's treatment. Once he arrived at the airport, he immediately went to the hospital in Bandung. Tears were already pushing out upon entering the treatment room. And cannot be dammed once you meet him. Satisfied to see how he was.
His face was pale. An infusion needle was stuck in his hand. Oxygen pipe attached to the nose. And lay helpless alone. No one accompanied. Maybe Katrin went home for a break, and there was no obligation to wait for her.
"I'm sorry, baby," Nadine cried bitterly as she clasped her hand. "I'm late for it."
"It shouldn't have come" murmured Gerdy weakly. His eyes looked at meu. "Your husband was left at the airport?"
"Luki shouldn't be waiting for me to come home for the news."
"He won't bother your honeymoon."
"If you knew you were like this, not only was my honeymoon shortened, the age of marriage was definitely shortened."
Gerdy's situation erased all his worries. He must make a decision immediately. He knew the risks of divorcing Bradley. He had to leave behind a glorious life. So an ordinary woman. But what does all this mean compared to his love?
"I don't want to lose you, baby," Nadine said. "I don't want to part with you."
Gerdy turned his eyes to the ceiling. Can not stand to see the circles that adorn the beautiful eyeball charming. Billures that almost brought down his fortress. Love swirls.
"Marriage is not a game" Gerdy said. His eyes were shriveled in the ceiling. "You can do it every time you want it."
"I want to live with you, baby. Like before."
"Bradley also wants to live with you, like now."
"He can find my replacement."
"He did it if he could. You should be grateful to have a husband as good as him."
"You're a good husband too."
"If I were a good husband, you wouldn't belong to anyone else" Gerdy bitterly sizzled. "Don't fade the life that has had color. Think Idyla. Don't ruin his pride with his current papa. She's okay, isn't she?"
Nadine stunned. Gerdy has never mentioned his daughter. He survived or not from death threats as if he did not want to know. Now suddenly I ask how he is doing. Is this a sign before death? Ah, it's impossible! Gerdy's condition is stable! Waiting for the healing process!
"Why?" look at the weak Gerdy. "Can't I know?"
"You want to meet your son?"
Of course the desire exists. For years he has been longing. I don't know how big it is now. Must be growing healthy full of nutrition. But he knew what had to come out of his mouth.
"Let Idyla regard Bradley as her father."
"You're his real father."
"What does it mean that a real father saves his life just can't?"
"It's not your fault."
"And it's nobody's fault. This is the path we must cross. We have to learn to accept things we don't like. We take each other's life path."
"Don't tell me it's not me you love."
"Love doesn't have to have each other."
"I don't want you to love Katrin."
"I don't want you to be Bradley's wife either."
"I'm gonna get a divorce."
"You want me to be honest with you?" Through the dim light of his eyes Gerdy tried to build up his strength. Look at it gently. "You're the only woman I love and cannot replace. Until I can't forget you. But until any time I can't forgive you if you ask for a divorce. Go back to your husband for Idyla, for our past."
Nadine silent. Don't know what to answer. But through that plea-filled gaze, he saw a solemnity there. It seems he has no choice. He has sacrificed a lot. Why not sacrifice once more for the happiness of her child?
And the appearance of Katrin at the door further strengthened her consciousness. He must be willing to let go of the man he loves. That woman has the right to stand with him now. He must accept his position has been removed!
He can't stop them from arranging their dreams. Pedaling the dipper towards the shore of hope. Her tears are just the cries of the past! It means nothing! He must be gone from Gerdy's life!
Perhaps his love should be stranded in another port. A man who never gets out of his love. And remembering her husband, there was a desire to contact her.
Bradley was surprised. Not because his wife called in the middle of the night blind. But he heard a voice more than usual.
In their long marriage, almost never heard the voice of Nadine so melodious. Ah, it feels like all his fatigue disappeared instantly.
In the midst of his business, he went back and forth to the area to conduct therapy at the address his wife had given him. Traditional medicine is really effective. In just one month it has gained a very significant development. He purposely did not tell his wife for a surprise on their wedding anniversary celebration!
"Mas" Nadine scolded when Bradley did not hear her welcome. "You overslept?"
Bradley laughed softly.
"Of course not! My sleepiness instantly disappeared the moment you heard your voice. What's up?"
"Can't I tell my husband?"
"You know what I've always been waiting for."
"I miss you, Mom."
"Darling..," bradley sizzled in disbelief. "You're not dreaming, are you?"
"I haven't slept yet."
"Tell me one more time," Bradley's pinta softly. "I want to hear it."
Nadine closed her eyes for a moment. Gathering the remnants of his love that are still scattered in the clouds. Then slowly his lips trembled.
"I really miss you, Mom."
"I've never been so happy tonight."
"The nights before were unhappy?"
"No day with you goes by without happiness" muttered Bradley. "But tonight I'm really happy. If all the pens in the world were gathered together, it would not be enough to write down my happiness. I want to see you soon."
"You can do the weekend."
"I want to come tonight too. I can't wait until the weekend."
"Aren't you tired?"
"Where do you think I am?"
"Jakarta."
"I'm in the south near your town. I've been in therapy for a month with a healer. And you can feel the results tonight. I'd like to thank your men who gave me the doctor's address. What's his name, Darling?"
"You don't need to know what his name is," replied Nadine a little nervously. "Because she wants us to forget her."
"The man's step is great."
"So you're cured, Mom?"
"You'll see for yourself."
"I'm waiting for you, Mommy."
"The sweet dress. I don't want to hug you in such chaotic clothes. It's past midnight now. So today is our wedding anniversary. We start the day with a very romantic event."
Nadine smiled sweetly as she ended the conversation. For the first time she accepted her husband's request with pleasure.
He wanted to make this night the beginning of the next happy nights. She wanted to look her best by wearing a wedding dress. Tonight coincides with their wedding day.
He wanted to create a romantic atmosphere. The full-fledged. Different from a few years ago. He wants to give up his love sincerely.
But what touched his daydream an hour later was not the presence of the figure he was waiting for. Not the appearance of her husband. Ringing the phone from the police station!
"Mrs!" shouted the panicked maid. "Master's accident!"
