Gerdy's car skied fast on a deserted highway. At ten o'clock, Sunday night, the satellite city is dead.
Some young people were seen hanging out in street-side tent cafes. The rest of the houses were silent as if uninhabited.
They just got home from Karlina's friend's birthday party. Looks like the girl's mood is not good anymore. His face was folded like an unwashed prayer mat. He asked to go home quickly before the show was over.
Karlina broke down all the way home, even though at the party she had a laugh with Robby. His happiness was snatched away when Gerdy really irritated him!
Gerdy does not want to go into the discos to attend the birthday event, but his friends are waiting. He even hangs out at a roadside stall.
Karlina wanted everything to go as usual. His friends only asked for dancing, not for company to sleep.
He got to bully them. Gerdy is called the most arrogant brother in the world, and another name that makes his ears burn.
Some even say Gerdy is jealous because Karlina is so fond of dancing with her boyfriend.
Gerdy is entangled in a forbidden love with his own sister!
Karlina was vexed to accept such an accusation. Thankfully Robby didn't know. The problem becomes big if her boyfriend is affected!
He had actually been a fool with their relationship that had been established since the seventh grade of Junior High. Whether because of a long courtship period or other men who start to stop by, Robby has lost his appeal.
This matchmaking has unwittingly built a pseudo hope that melenakan his heart. After all, falling in love with a dirty, handsome, and mighty man is not a mistake.
Karlina did not know that she was not the preferred wife even though Gerdy failed to marry Nadine. A girl like herself is only fit to walk around in free life, not to sit together in a leash.
"My fault, too," said Gerdy shortly after the car he was driving left the discotheque's parking lot. "I came into your life dancing, when I wanted to stop, so there was a problem."
"I don't ask much of you!" sergeant Karlina is upset. He almost hit the young man in front of his friends, but he tried to hold back because it definitely invited the attention of Robby who was again gathered with his friend. "I'm just asking you to appreciate me a little!"
Gerdy asked casually, "I appreciate how you mean?"
"What's wrong with you watching my friend dance? Don't sell expensive!"
"Your friend not only asked for a dance company, asked for a drink as well, some of your friends even wanted to sleep with me. I don't like girls who are too aggressive."
"So you'd rather I get embarrassed? You know what my friends' responses are? They thought you were jealous because I danced with my boyfriend!"
Gerdy's attitude remained cool as if not provoked by Karlina's explosive emotions. "You don't have to be angry with me if your mind is a little clear. Is it hard to say that I'm married, retired from the nightlife, all right?"
"The question should be reversed, how hard are you to serve them dance? If they drink or pray, you'll just refuse!"
"You want to make your friend happy by sacrificing me? What do you think I am?"
Karlina did not accept and glared. "I'm just asking you to take care of yourself as usual, to sacrifice what? Very bayy!"
"For you only, for me it's been amazing. I don't include men who already have wives but love to play with white gray."
"Purely!"
"I don't ask you to respect my decision. I just want to keep my promise with Nadine to stop adventuring after marriage."
Karlina wondered how a big-time playboy like Gerdy could change course drastically just because of his promise to a woman, a creature that had been a slave to his lust!
To Karlina, Gerdy was nothing more than a loser who bent his knees at the feet of women!
Unfortunately, why was that woman not him! But Nadine! A girl who comes from an undignified family!
Gerdy was offended when Karlina brought up his wife's family tree, "So you feel dignified because you come from a dignified family? A dignified family does not necessarily make you dignified."
"Nonsolent," angry Karlina. "So you consider me undignified for embracing a free life? What's the difference with you?"
"I don't admit I'm dignified. I just don't want to judge anyone better than me. So don't be honored by our parents' position, we are bedbugs who eat away at their good names."
Those words left Karlina speechless. He was already trapped in a life that was smearing the face of the number one person in this suburb. It's good there's only two guys. If he showed his love to every guy, this disgrace would have been exposed!
What about his responsibilities as a cadet leader? The life of a leader is cleaner than the members he leads!
"I'm sorry if I offended you" said the male Gerdy. "A lot of dirty things need to be cleaned because I don't want to disappoint my wife. One thing you need to know, I don't see my wife's background, I see what's on my wife. I don't expect Nadine to be the perfect wife because I'm not the perfect husband either."
Karlina so dreamt, would love Robby as great as Gerdy love his wife? To glorify women by not betraying, trying to be faithful to each other, because that is where true love is.
What they have done so far is not part of love, event after event that happens is just a series of pieces of drama.
"Nadine knows what we're doing" Gerdy said calmly. "He doesn't mind if anything happens to us, he just asks me not to seek pleasure from other women as long as what he wants can be served."
Gerdy runs the car slowly, then turns into the courtyard of Karlina's house and stops near the veranda.
"Looks quiet" commented Gerdy. "Mother usually waits for us on the porch."
"We're home not so late because there's no extra show. So Mommy better watch her favorite soap opera."
"The extra way is important to you, isn't it?"
"It wasn't important at first. But you make it important."
"I've bought you auxiliary equipment, as a request because there's no additional event from me."
"I never wear it."
Gerdy looked at him unblinking. "So.there's another guy? Not Linmas, is it?"
"Damn it," grinned Karlina. "I tried enough with Robby, because he's my future husband."
"I'm so happy to hear it."
Gerdy hopes the scenario they put together really goes smoothly.
Robby's family seems to have unanimously supported his son to get married after graduating from High School, so Karlina can be brought to California to continue college.
As a single son, Robby is so free to determine the course of his life. He lives simsalabim, then all desires are available before him.
What a lucky boy!
