Lovely Love

Lovely Love
Seconds Determine

Nadine sits casually on the veranda enjoying the full moonlight that stops at the ornamental pond. The night was quiet, but it was only eight o'clock. Evening Sunday anyway.

Residential residents are mostly employees of the company. Rest only on red dates. Sometimes Saturday Sunday overtime. There are some civil servants.

Sunday evenings they usually take the family out to the mall or have dinner outside. Make the best use of vacation time. A small number of people get together with their families while watching television.

Food vendors never pass by. Vegetable traders too. Either not sell or how. Though security in front allows, different from the cluster housing next door.

Close access strictly provokes friction with indigenous people and invites covert criminality. There are people pretending to be allowed to visit while robbing, even houses become a hotbed of dealers and radicals, and that happens in the next cluster. Nadine chose to live in this cluster because the environment is safe and familiar.

Nadine went inside the house because there was no view that could be enjoyed outside. Inside is more fun. He can eliminate saturation by watching television, listening to music, or surfing the virtual world, waiting for drowsiness to come.

Next door neighbor is a tax worker. They've been out of town this weekend since noon. At home there was only a maid, and had just left with Mimin on the bike. So now the house is empty.

The wife of a tax employee often gives souvenirs when returning home on vacation. They're pretty familiar.

Next door neighbor again the company manager. Neighbors are most familiar with them. Gerdy is often loaned a big motorbike. Unfortunately his wife wants to live with her mother who lives alone. He had to give up, stay with the in-laws.

The house is now inhabited by the family of Mr. Marto, a pedicab who used to hang out in front. The manager asked him to occupy without rent, which is important the house is cared for. All the furniture was transported at Mr. Marto's request for fear of damage.

Ms. Marto looks inferior to the lives of neighbors. Nadine tries to familiarly remove the distance between them. The manager's intention was well to help the rickshaw family from the burden of renting rent in the old place. But living in a residential environment is a mental burden in itself.

Mr. Marto has three children, two are in elementary school, the youngest is a baby. Nadine often divides them food every time they come home shopping from the mall. He was willing to tell Bu Marto not to hesitate to ask for help if there is a need. She had heard her son cry and apparently had not eaten from morning waiting for her husband to come home.

"Mom Marto why shut up?" regret Nadine. "I told you there was nothing to say. The time of the child to such a famine?"

"I'm waiting for my husband to buy rice" said Bu Marto, not delicious. "Just get home soon."

"I have a lot of rice, you can wear it first, you don't have to wait until they cry like this."

"I've been troubling Nadine a lot. I'm ashamed."

"Everything if you do not have a supply of rice and side dishes, do not hesitate to ask the same Mimin. I can't go back and forth asking for mom's needs."

Nadine had a difficult life and the neighbors did not care. He tried to be understood because his father's behavior made them lose sympathy. But the pain persists when the stomach is hungry while they are overfed and given to pets. He did not want it to happen to Mr. Marto's family.

Nadine sat on the couch watching a television show. He lives alone at home. Prilly stayed at school for a sacred devotional ahead of independence day. His sister's high school did not eliminate the old habit of remembering the services of heroes through the sacred event.

Mommy just got home from the hospital yesterday, and now she's resting in her room. Mami seems difficult to erase her husband from memory, making him often daydream.

Moments like this Nadine often remembered her husband. Gerdy Sunday nights usually take time to be at home no matter how busy. Take a family walk.

Tonight Gerdy can't be with them. Early in the day his parents returned from the Holy Land. He should be ready to pick them up for embarkation.

Gerdy hesitated to leave his wife. Nadine's content has stepped on the moon. What if I suddenly want to give birth? Who brought him to the hospital?

"I can ask Mr. Marto for help" said Nadine trying to dispel her husband's concerns. "Send in a rickshaw."

Gerdy. "To the maternity house on a rickshaw? You can hunt on the street!"

"Rather than taking an online taxi? Long wait at night."

"Then I didn't come home. I have to be a standby husband."

"You're the firstborn, beb," persuaded Nadine subtly. "You're responsible for Abi's welcome to Umi."

"Arya needs you."

"You didn't?"

"I can handle it myself."

"Arya moreover, many people help."

"You don't want to see an old man in his great clothes?"

Of course I want to, Gerdy thought wrong. How would his parents feel if he was not among the people who welcomed their arrival? What will his big family respond?

But Gerdy isn't until the heart leaves Nadine alone. He couldn't let his wife ride the rickshaw while her stomach was already in pain. What if I fall on the road?

"There's me here" said Mami to dispel her daughter-in-law's doubts. "I mustn't have stayed silent if your wife was about to give birth."

"Mommy needs a break."

"I've had enough rest in the hospital."

Prilly cuts, "I'll help find a cab when Brother Nadine feels it."

Usually women panic easily if there is a sudden incident, complained Gerdy confused. Not solving the problem, even adding to the situation.

"Aren't there any sacred devotions at school?" look Gerdy.

"I can order from school."

"No need" Nadine said. "You don't have to bother thinking about your brother. Your show's interrupted later."

"Well, if you want that brother."

"The maternity home is pretty far away," Gerdy said. "It's impossible to drive in a rickshaw. Your car's in the workshop again service. Should I book a cab from now on?"

Nadine shakes. "No need. Waste money. If brojol tonight, if tomorrow afternoon is what the doctor thinks?"

"How many times do you book a taxi? Not a million. Your safety is more important."

"Or brother just entered the maternity home this afternoon," proposed Prilly. "So don't think of Gerdy."

"Incoming home from now on costs how much? What am I doing there anyway? How is it different from waiting at home?"

"Nadine ngirit really?"

"White is a problem in this house" Gerdy smiled wryly. "Your brother just wants to use the money from my sweat."

Nadine whimpers spoiled. "Kok my husband said that? I just want to make the best use of the money possible. I knew my husband could afford to pay me any length of stay in the hospital. But my baby is healthy and is predicted to be born normal. So why am I staying at the hospital?"

Prospective doctors fail this way, thought Gerdy bitterly. What medical experts say is swallowed raw, even though the name of the diagnosis can be missed, even though the chance is only one percent.

What if Nadine gives birth tonight? Who's gonna help him?
