Idyla was rescued. He was spared the grip of death that almost took him away. All suffering ends at the operating table.
But when the doctors were about to perform a second operation, Bradley refused. The operation is the most important operation for the future of Idyla. Of course Nadine was angry.
"Why?" fierce protests. "Can't you pay?"
"The only one I can't afford is you" Bradley smiled without taking his eyes off Idyla lying in the treatment room. "I want to take your son to Tokyo."
"You're sure Tokyo doctors are better?"
"I'm not saying Tokyo doctors are better. They're used to doing that."
'Custom? You want to take my son in this state as usual? You heard what Doctor Hengky said earlier, right? He can change my son's ears!"
"What I want is not just to be able to. I want to give your son the best because he deserves it."
Nadine herself had the same hope. She doesn't want her son to be a guinea pig. But go to Tokyo?
They should stay there for a while. And Bradley was free to do anything to himself. He's been in possession of her body since Idyla got into the hospital!
"I know what's on your mind" said Nadine coldly. "I know what you're gonna do."
"What?"
"Why should you go to Tokyo if you just want to ask for your rights? In the bushes it can!" said Nadine spicy.
Bradley was silent for a moment. There was a slight change on his face as if he had unexpectedly gotten such an answer.
"That means I have to give a speech to Hengky's doctor" he said. "She may have surgery, but under the supervision of an outside doctor."
"Doctor Hengky must be offended."
"Rather than a no-no assumption?"
And Bradley really proved his point. He brought in some experts from Tokyo. The hospital itself did not mind. What matters is being able to pay. Hhh, they want to say great, but the mindset is still limited to money!
The second operation was a success. Not experiencing any significant obstacles. One month the team of doctors monitored developments in Idyla's new ear. The little girl was allowed to go home when no suspicious developments were found in her ears.
Bradley took them somewhere.
"Where will my son and I be taken?" nadine asked as the luxury car he was riding in headed in the opposite direction to his house.
"I've set up an apartment" said Bradley calmly. "For the time you stayed there."
"Yourselves?"
"Of course not. I'm still embarrassed to sleep next to you without your husband status."
She still hasn't changed, Nadine thought unknowingly, good at keeping her will. Though it could have done as he pleased because Nadine already does not care about anything else. His life is dead! Idyla's life was paid handsomely with all her happiness!
"Let the house be a story of the past, for Mami and Prilly. A woman as beautiful as you doesn't deserve to suffer."
"You think I'm happy right now?"
"At least not lose your son."
"But I lost my husband!"
"You've lost nothing because there's nothing in your life" Bradley said casually, as if the conversation wasn't his great enemy. "He is a poet of love who cannot give his love. He deserves to be a loser."
"You're no better than him."
"But it can give much better to the best women."
Bradley still thinks of me as a special woman, the inner Nadine, a woman worthy of glory. He did not hesitate to present all the best, including this luxury apartment.
"Here are you slaughtering your girlfriends?" nadine satirized while laying her sleeping child in a room. "You give me the rest."
"Who entered this room was a widow with one child."
Nadine looked in wonder. "My cousin I never brought you here?"
"You've never been."
Nadine surprised. "Why didn't you show up at the time?"
"You expect me to come?"
"I felt really defeated then" Bradley said with a rippleless face. "I'm disappointed, angry, hateful. But all are incapable of killing the wishful thinking to live with you. Then I decided to live alone. Enjoy your love in solitude."
His love is still awake, Nadine praised in her heart. No fading in time. She was different, no longer a girl. Already have a child.
However, Nadine thought slowly, this is a new husband, which she could not deny anymore.
But when Bradley requested the requirements to take care of the marriage administration, Nadine also requested the terms from him.
"All I need is not a marriage license" coldly snorted Nadine. "My parents' house letter. I want to live in my town."
"You asked for a home letter, did you ask for a new home?"
"That house is one of the reasons I married you."
"The other reason must be love."
"Don't dream" said Nadine cynically. "My love has been taken away."
Bradley looked at Nadine softly without the slightest offence, saying, "From now on you must learn to love me, for I am the one who will fill the sheets of your life."
"You jerk. You took somebody's wife."
"Your ex-husband is dirtier. He won the competition in a dirty way. Of course you're chasing."
"I'm not chasing! I surrender my honor willingly!"
"Well, what's wrong with you handing yourself over to me willingly as well?" bradley's face is half-tempting. "My class's not under it, is it?"
Nadine looked away with ketus. I don't know what the man's heart is made of. He didn't seem to be irritated by his harsh words. Or because of his love?
"I still have one request" Nadine said in a voice that remained unfriendly.
"A thousand requests I don't care" Bradley said. "What do you want? From orange water to plane water I must provide."
"When do you introduce me to your parents?"
"Quickly."
"I want to take my son."
Bradley smiled broadly. "I thought I'd ask for a reception at the White House. Mami Papi already knows who her future daughter-in-law is."
Bradley's parents couldn't turn down his son's request for a wife. They know the custom. If the determination is already unanimous, the marriage path continues without the blessing of even parents.
After all, they were too dear to his son. He was the only son of four brothers. Both of her sisters are married, already have children. His sister still lives in school in America.
Anyone can be his wife. No matter which class and status she is a girl or a widow, the important thing is that Bradley is happy. There is no greater happiness than being able to realize all his dreams.
So, even though they would have a widow's daughter-in-law, they tried to welcome her as much as possible. A special outdoor chef was brought in to make a special dish. All the servants were busy fixing the house.
And as soon as the luxury sedan appeared in the courtyard, they were ready to stand welcomingly on the veranda.
Bradley smiled as he opened the door for Nadine.
"They can't wait to see my future wife" she said.
Nadine herself was stunned. How could a busy person like them take the time to welcome the arrival of a future son-in-law, a widow anyway!
Nadine initially thought Bradley should call her papa's office. She had to wait for her mom to come home for hours, or follow her to the beauty salon.
The Bradleys smiled happily to see a young woman get out of the car. Ah, the son is really good at choosing! Where did he find such a woman?
His appearance is so graceful. Her face is so charming. Her body is so sexy. When walking, the pitch is so unsightly. I could hardly believe that she was a widow if I did not see the little child walking in her direction.
"It's Nadine." Bradley introduced the woman standing next to him to them. "My wife's candidate."
"You must insist." His eldest brother who deliberately came from Solo could not help his admiration. "She's a great fit to be a sister-in-law."
When Nadine returned Bradley's arms, she didn't realize her eyes were teary. He remembered his dream a few years ago. How wonderful it is to introduce yourself to the future-in-law, praying with a million joys. But not here in his little town!
But this is where his recognized presence, which is accepted as a prospective son-in-law. Nadine not only has to learn to love Bradley, she has to accept new realities.
Almost three hours they were at Bradley's parents' house, and came home with a decision; the wedding took place in his hometown with a big party.
Nadine had no idea that their marriage sparked the ire of a respectable woman in the city, Umi!
