Like the Night Wind

"What the fuck?" Abi's anger instantly exploded as soon as his wife arrived home. "The two are shameless!"

He had just returned home from the estate, and found his wife not home. He knew from his son where his wife was going.

Irritatedly her husband took out a piece of paper from his pants pocket and slammed it onto the table. "Read the letter! That was Gerdy's last message before he left his wife! Last week his wife came to my office so we wouldn't misunderstand!"

No less annoyed Umi grabbed the paper. And suddenly his face changed. He wrote who it was. Read it word for word with an elusive eye light meaning.

"Where are we when our kids need a handle?" Abi's voice sounded bitter. His eyes fell. "Where are we when she panics bearing a burden too heavy for her? Where are we when he's confused looking for shelter from the heat of life? We're still standing here, Umi! With our wrathful angkara!"

Vishnu thought so when he did not meet Gerdy at all his work sites. The address Nadine gave was clear. No one knows where it went. He just disappeared like the night wind....

"We must not despair" said Vishnu while enjoying lunch at a luxurious cafe, accompanied by Karlina and Andini. "We'll have to see you."

They had since morning gone to the metropolis in search of Gerdy, and had only stopped after arriving at lunchtime.

"Your hope of living with my brother grew again" Vishnu told Karlina. "So I was free from that match. And I don't need to marry you both."
