Lovely Love

Lovely Love
Clammy

The news came just as Gerdy's parents arrived home. The cold morning air suddenly blazing hot. Tearing the dawn. What a shocking news!

Nadine has a baby! The baby's Gerdy's boy! The son of a great man! And just returned home for the Hajj! When did they get married?

Gerdy was struck by lightning in the morning. How did Bradley come to tell you? And he helped Nadine! What happened to his wife?

But it's too late to ask. He had to watch the excitement happen.

Surya tried to extinguish the blazing fire, "They were married ten months ago. I don't need to explain why they dared to marry secretly. What is clear is that the man who came was a candidate prepared for Nadine if my friend did not immediately take her as his wife."

"Don't wait for a friend you keep defending him," said a father in the crowd on the side of the road. "They married under the hand or what?"

"They're officially married." Surya shows a chat containing a marriage book that Nadine sent nine months ago. "You see the date of this wedding. Nadine accidentally sent a marriage book sheet so that her best friend believed that they were officially married. You see this photo of the bride. The month my friend sent. So I'm surprised by your whispers."

"So that baby wasn't born out of wedlock?" ask a young man.

"You're less clear on seeing this chat?" surya Bentak. "Just look like a maskoki fish."

Surya deliberately kept the evidence to dampen the uproar if something unwanted happened. He had not expected this secret to leak at a time when thousands of citizens gathered to welcome the arrival of the richest family from the Holy Land.

Surya was finally busy showing evidence to the citizens who were crowding and remarking obliquely. Residents who know the news of the birth of a baby are actually only a small part, the people around the welcoming tent only. They hear Bradley talking to Gerdy who is accompanying his parents, so the uproar is not widespread. But the impact remains devastating.

Abi tried hard in front of the crowd. He was still able to deliver his welcome on the podium with a piece of a smile, thanking the residents and apologizing for not being able to carry out the open house to receive congratulations because they needed a break. Umi fainted immediately. The news was too powerful to record his consciousness.

When the residents who welcomed their arrival began to leave, when the atmosphere of the house began to be quiet, the kink of Abi collapsed as well with clear grains that flowed in the corner of his eyes.

"So this is your present to welcome Abi's return?" his father sizzled with a stifled voice. "So this is your congratulations?"

Gerdy rested before him with all his regret without daring to look into those eyes. "I'm sorry, Abi.... I'm sorry...."

Gerdy looked down deeply. He could not see his father's eyes. That look was not the wrathful look of a father. Not the gaze spilled all the flames of hatred. That look was the gaze of a father who felt let down by his son. A gaze that was more stinging than a thousand scuffs of whip though!

"Why did this happen, Gerdy?" Abi's voice thus hurt piercing his eardrum. "Why did you destroy Abi's honor?"

"I'm sorry, Abi.... I'm sorry...."

Those were the only words that came out of Gerdy's mouth. The rest were drowning in regret that flowed through her tears. Abi's words seemed to slowly plunge into the endless aisle of doom.

"You are the only young man in this village who is able to penetrate famous public universities. The only young man to be a symbol of education. Why are you the only one who dares to do this? What was Abi's fault that you were so cruel to punish those who had just returned from this conversion? What's Abi's fault, Gerdy? What?!"

Abi's cry exploded. Lamenting the collapse of his self-esteem. Oh God! I have fulfilled Your holy calling! Fill every grain of my blood with drops of Your word! Why did you send a disaster that I could not face?

At community meetings, he often appealed to them to take good care of the child, preventing him from living a free life. He himself is negligent! Can't protect his son from the devil's persuasion! Where should he put his face?

This is also what Umi thought in her room. Ever since she woke up she's been crying incessantly. Unable to speak.

Finally what was feared happened too! His son seduced the girl's foul seduction! Marriage secretly happens there must be a reason! They had drilled the concentrated charcoal on his face without knowing how to wash it!

How did she face the study mothers? How to fend off the scorn of those who are the ingredients of his gossip? Even his son is more depraved! Baby just came out and reported! It wasn't from his own mouth!

Umi did not vent any anger when her son appeared at the door of the room. He just wants to cry. Letting the tears fall apart rinsed away her sadness.

Gerdy didn't even step in. He stood in the doorway. His eyes looked at his mother with a broken feeling.

There was no longer a strict mother figure whenever she denied her advice. There was no longer a violent face every time he came home late at night. The voice that sometimes sounded loud was drowning in his pill cry. His fierce gaze slumped down without being able to tell anything. It's all because of Gerdy! He had already taken all the happiness in his face!

Maybe it would be different if he reported early. Although it is difficult to apologize, they can find a way out. There are many ways to not lose face.

But Gerdy chose his own path! The path that left them with no choice but to give up the honor of being torn apart cruelly! And they don't need any accountability. Rice is already porridge.

They did not even spit out the slightest anger. Not stoning it with any swearing. They want Gerdy to accuse himself.

"If they may choose, they may be better off staying in the Holy Land than having to accept this harsh reality" lamented Vishnu who appeared behind him, grimly. "The hard truth they accept."

Abi and Umi must not fall for long in the valley of sorrow, the inner Gerdy is poignant. They must soon rediscover the lost life. And that is unlikely to happen if the source of his malapakan always decorate their days. It's time he got out of this house!

By midnight, Gerdy quietly entered his parents' room. They're already asleep. Either tired of coming home from the Holy Land, or want to take a break from the burden of suffering.

Be careful Gerdy rests at the feet of his parents. His head was looking deep.

"Forgive me, Abi Umi, forgive me." Gerdy cried without a sound. Tears rolling down the cheeks. Grievous. "Thank you Abi never left me sweat. Let's just say I was never born from Umi's womb. I'm saying goodbye...."

Gerdy kissed his parents' feet, then got up slowly. He saw the faces of his parents again. Their faces looked dark. Maybe you are dreaming about this disaster, but you are unable to wake up!
