Episode 52 - The forbidden forest

The wind-dripping roar of the forbidden forest was a bit of a hindrance to Yijin's journey, as his footsteps drove back to the middle of the forest the sound of a trampled twig sounded faintly approaching.

Yijin looked back, but there was nothing there. He resumed his journey with the little dragon wrapped around the horse in his hair. Yijin felt like a fool, who walked aimlessly he also did not know what clues he had to get in order to immediately find the location of the golden tulip. He decided to sit at the root of the large tree and took out a bottle of drink from his waist. Choked it half over.

"Hey little dragon! You can't be asked to accompany me if you don't know something ’kan? Tell me what you know about golden tulips?" ask Yijin to the dragon wrapped around it.

"Miss, master only asked me to take care of you, I know nothing at all. After all, if I tell you it means you're cheating." the little dragon's answer irritated Yijin so much that she forced the dragon out of her hair.

"Oh, you really treated me badly! Why don't you use your pheonix powers to find out?"

"All right, please take care of me. Calling pheonix takes a rather long time, so I have to meditate for a while." Yijin crossed his legs, then fused his palms together and closed his eyes. He called out to the pheonix that was on his body and not long after a pheonix tattoo appeared on the top of Yijin's chest and emitted a reddish glow.

"Please find the location of the golden tulip accurately!" pinta Yijin to the pheonix who has now come out of his body. The Pheonix flew in front of him while flapping its wide wings and then went in the direction that Yijin was aiming for.

Yijin immediately followed the path directed by the pheonix bird. However, halfway through the journey a thunderous roar stopped their steps. A giant tiger looks hungry approaching Yijin and also the dragon and the pheonix. Yijin gasped, this was his first time seeing a monster in the middle of the border of his territory before he only heard a myth that his mother often told but this time he actually saw it in person.

The tiger snorted then walked closer to Yijin, the woman immediately pulled out her sword which now looked glittering. Preparing to advance and fight against the tiger monster before him, the instant the little dragon turned into a full-size one. Yijin rode Bei's dragon boldly and then pointed his sword to show the direction of attacking the tiger.

"Miss, this is dangerous. You sure?" ask the dragon.

"Take me up on the tiger's back, I'm sure he knows the exact location of the golden tulip!" exclaim Yijin.

"You're crazy! Not a single person had ever subdued a monster in this region. In fact, no one can ever come back from here!"

Yijin furrowed his brows. "Why hasn't anyone told me this before?"

"No one dared to go against the emperor's words!" answer the dragon.

"Curtain! Quickly get me there!" titah Yijin's.

But unfortunately, Yijin managed to slam far away and his back hit the tree hard. The tiger growled and approached Yijin with fury, the dragon belonging to Bei immediately wrapped around the tiger and held him strong but things got even more chaotic when he was bitten and his tail was almost torn apart.

Yijin turned his gaze to the sky. His Pheonix flew at a rapid rate and entered his body, after the phoenix entered Yijin's eyes turned reddish like a blazing fire. He poured his energy into the sword he was holding. One time he threw the sword at the head of the tiger.

The tiger immediately lay on the ground, while Yijin was still completely possessed by the power of the pheonix. He drew closer and pulled out the sword stuck in the tiger's head, gave it an energy then made the tiger wake up again. Yijin had activated the medicinal spirit present within his body, making the monster submit and now rest in front of the woman. "Show me where the golden tulips are!"

Instantly the tiger lowered his legs, letting Yijin ride his back safely. They were finally able to speed away with the help of the tiger, time was already running late. In the military camp, Bei looked so worried yet he still had not received any distress signals from his dragon. Meanwhile, Hu Yazhu was busy discussing with Long Chen and asking him to retreat.

"I have to go" Bei said. He immediately left the military camp and entered the forbidden forest. Although he knew, the possibility of his return was very small because the forbidden forest protection spell prevented anyone and anything with god-like powers and demons from getting out of the place.

Yijin finally reached the top of the hill, where there was a tree on the edge of the gorge and looks sparkling gold flowers. But on top of the tree was also a large snake wrapped tightly around it. As if blocking anyone to take the best alchemy ingredients. "I'll take it myself!" Yijin descended and approached slowly towards the sleeping snake.

He must be able to use his wits to get the golden tulip, however the snake must not wake up from his sleep. Yijin tore the cloth on his clothes then wrapped it around his hand for a grip and let the rest hang. The woman quickly directed the piece of cloth to pick up the golden tulip at the end of the ravine. With slowly Yijin can get it easily, it is strange but it becomes good news for Yijin to pull a golden tulip ceapt and a split second of the flower is in his hands.

Before the snake awoke, Yijin crept away. On the way, Xin Er who was none other than the previous false crown princess turned out to be the empress of Long Chen and who challenged Yijin in search of golden tulips. Yijin furrowed his brows and did not expect that his best friend's wife was a con artist who used to work with his stepmother.

"Thank you for bringing me that golden tulip. Does the emperor know why no one has survived after entering this forest?" ask Xin ’Er. "That's all because of that golden tulip, that tulip can only function some time ahead until the sun completely sinks. "Well, a matching couple. This is not fair, the emperor still brings the bodyguards into the forest unlike our initial agreement!" Xin ’Er turned towards Bei.

Yijin came looking at the man, he furrowed his brows and felt annoyed. Why did the man always appear in front of him, meddling in his affairs as if he could not fight him alone. "I thought you were just sending your dragon and not you following me!"

"I'm sorry servant, Kiasar. I was forced to feel worried!" answer Bei.

Yijin turned his face away from Bei and refocused on Xin ’Er. "I'll finish you off with my own hands! You should be honored!" say Yijin.
