THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE KINGDOM OF WEN
Tak tuk tuk tuk. A man in armor came with a sword at his waist holding a horse towards the King's resting room.
It had been eight years, King Wen Lei had lost the royal Crown Princess. Wen Yijin's. The beautiful little girl disappeared when rebels attacked the kingdom eight years ago. After losing track of Yijin's daughter, King Wen Lei relentlessly searched for her until she found a skull skeleton dressed in Princess Yijin's clothes at the bottom of the Nir mountain ravine 6 years ago. Afterwards King Wen Lei suddenly fell ill.
During King Wen's illness the kingdom was governed under the rule of Consort Fan Hai and his second daughter Wen Jia. Since then the suffering of the people has begun.
"Mom really can't wait any longer!" concluded Consort Fan Hai who was in his room in the Palace of the Consorts.
"Mom, me too. How long will you wait for the dead Yijin to return? Didn't you see that the body was only a skeleton?" Wen Jia crossed her hands on her chest.
"Wen Jia, Mother will definitely get that Crown Princess title for you soon, all you have to do is prepare yourself until that happens."
"Alright mother," Jia grinned in satisfaction at her mother's words.
In a special room, a man clad in a red robe with a golden accent and a decorated crown on his head was sitting pensively. While waiting for a report from the Warlord about the existence of Princess Mahkota. "How's it?" the question was without pause when the Commander entered the room.
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty, we haven't found anything yet."
The look of disappointed face was instantly engraved on the face of King Wen Lei. "Search again! Search every day until he's found!"
"All right, Your Majesty. There's one more thing I want to say." The commander approached the King.
"What's that?"
"In Gama Village, I heard there was a famous psychic who could foresee the future of Bahk-" the warlord's words were cut off.
"Yazhu Hu! You talk carelessly about the psychic. Didn't you know that the practice of shamans is strictly prohibited in the kingdom? Whatever the reason!" The king rounded his eyes to Yazhu.
"Sorry Your Majesty, please punish Your Majesty's Servant." Yazhu bowed and bowed.
"Forget over! Now you go and look for another clue about your best friend, Princess Yijin!" exclaim King Wen Lei.
"The servant will do his best, Your Majesty!" Hu Yazhu left King Wen Lei's room. He actually did not know where else to look for Princess Yijin. It was eight years ago, the possibility of him finding it was impossible. Especially if his face has changed. Hu Yazhu even had time to believe that the skeleton found at the bottom of the ravine belonged to Wen Yijin.
On the other hand, Ryu was sitting outside the tavern chair staring at the moonlight that was highlighting directly on the shady trees beside the kedau. A cold wind passed through his cheeks gently. He knew now was the time to avenge him. Ryu did not accept dying horribly in his previous life, he promised in his life this time he would avenge the abominations of anyone who hurt him tenfold.
He remembered the last event of his life, he was determined to be revived and now he returned to the three years before the death occurred, This time Ryu promised he would not stay silent and stupid as before. Even if she had to rise up to be a ghost, she would not stop beating her stepmother and sister. He really did not accept and would protect the people who were victims at that time with all his might now.
"Excuse me!" A man dressed in noble clothes breezed into the tavern that was almost closed.
Ryu knew who was coming and what was going to happen. Tonight, was the first night Hu Yazhu had come to offer him the job of caring for King Wen Lei. "Stop there!" Ryu pointed at the man then walked up to him, he stared a bit long at the face of his childhood friend.
Then, Grandpa Asahi appeared from the shop door. "Ryu! Let this guest in. Grandpa will prepare the order." Asahi's grandfather let Hu Yazhu in.
"Thank you" said the man to Asahi's grandfather.
Not long after, Hu Yazhu came out with Asahi's grandfather and went straight to Ryu. With the glare of her sharp eyes Ryu looked at her grandfather's face. "He, was the Royal Commander who was looking for a great female psychic who he said could see the future."
Ryu knew everything, he knew what was going to happen. But he remained shocked because all of this happened exactly the same as before. He thought for a moment, if he changed a decision would eventually change. Eyes rounded. "Ah, don't tell me that the Commander is here to look for me? What do you mean the woman's psychic is me?" Ryu furrowed his brows staring intently at the warlord of the Wen kingdom.
"It's him, Commander!" Hearing her grandfather's words, Ryu grew increasingly agitated.
"Grandfather is right, I am indeed that great psychic!" Ryu grinned, it's time he returned to the palace and avenged his revenge on those rotten criminals. After agreeing to Hu Yazhu, Ryu and Asahi's grandfather closed the tavern and re-entered it inside.
"Ryu," said Asahi's grandfather. "Grandfather won't force you, if you're not sure yet, you better not go there." Grandpa Asahi stared flatly at Ryu.
"I'm pretty sure I have to go there cake!" ryu replied determinedly.
Grandpa Asahi nodded Then the old man walked straight towards a wooden cabinet that had been worn out by time took out a small box and handed it to Ryu. "Look at this is yours!"
Ryu opened it and he saw a royal emblem of Wen Lei, a golden hairpin in the shape of a pheonix. "Grandfather found it when you were seriously injured back then. If it's true that this thing belongs to the kingdom, it means you can find answers about yourself there."
Ryu snorted softly, he knew very well that she was Princess Yijin. He already remembered everything, about the accident that made him lose his memory and found Asahi's grandfather. Even about his return to the Palace that brought him to death. He hesitated a little not because he did not want to return, but rather he was just afraid to hurt the people he loved.
If he hadn't come back then, it would have been possible that Asahi's Grandpa, Huo Sijue and his Father King Wen Lei would have survived. He was only afraid of harming innocent people again because of his ambition to return to the Palace. But, he also could not just keep silent and assume nothing had happened.
"Ryu, opportunities don't always come twice. If you want to go back, then do it with careful planning!" Asahi's grandfather's advice seemed to be aimed at him to round up his decision.
Ryu snorted softly, he looked calm and thought of a good idea. "Grandfather, if the commander comes looking for me. Tell me that I have a condition to come to the Palace."
"Condition?" Grandpa Asahi furrowed his brows.
Ryu nodded with a smile. "Right, I want to come to the kingdom not as a female shaman. Except as the future Warlord's wife!"
Grandpa Asahi. "Ryu, are you sick?"
"Grandfather! I'm serious!" Ryu pursed his lips in annoyance.
Grandpa Asahi shook his head slowly. "You think he'll accept your terms? Instead of accepting it, he could have cut off your head!"
"Grandfather, just tell me what I want. I'll take care of the rest!" Ryu smirked, this time he had a good plan to enter Wen Palace.
