Episode 29 - Previous life

Like lightning during the day, Hu Yazhu was pensive after hearing Ryu Ito's baseless confession. Meanwhile, the girl could only speak as she was and whatever reaction Hu Yazhu would later show would not be her cause for concern. Hu Yazhu lowered her head then aimed at Ryu with a frown on her forehead. "Do you want to say that you are the daughter of the Empress of another man?"

"I-" Ryu stopped saying he grunted softly and handed all of that thought to Hu Yazhu, he was a bit disappointed that his foolish friend was unable to recognize him at all. "Just up to you, walk around by yourself! If you are tired, then rest! I still have business."

Ryu left Hu Yazhu with deep regret, how could not his best friend whom he had known since childhood not even recognize him in the slightest. Given that it was already night, he so thought of Huo Sijue, the man would catch up with Ryu if until morning there was no other news from him. "Really! But before that you must activate it by meditating and abstaining from food, it must be done for forty days and forty nights. For now Auntie will show you why you should do it!" The Tao Tribe's aunt fell silent then approached and gently touched Ryu Ito's shoulder. "In this world there is a power that can achieve immortality. Ryu was speechless he wasn't even that deep in studying his spiritual science. "I don't want to achieve immortality. I just want to continue the trust my father gave me later."

Ryu sat following his aunt and cross-legged, he let out a long sigh and calmed his body so that his entire Qi energy could flow perfectly. He took a few breaths and threw them away slowly. The Aunt arranged the position of the hand in front of her chest then made a twisting direction like emitting a blue radiant energy which was nothing but a soul tranquilizing aura.

That aura will be used to see Ryu's previous life. After the Aunt's palm touched the javelin on her back Ryu's soul managed to wake up in a smoky place. He kept on going by relying on his strong feelings. Instantly a burst of hot clouds and also fire burned the entire sea of humans in front of him.

"Please! Help me!"

A cry for help rang out from Ryu's right, then he ran in search of the source of the voice. He saw a little boy who got lost inside the crowd of people running around dodging the hot flames. "Where's your mom?"

Ryu is just a soul looking back on his previous life so he cannot help anyone seen there. All that could be done was to prevent that from happening in his life this time. Ryu looked at the fire that formed the Demon King, the fire stood up and did not hesitate to step on the settlement until it burned down. There was no longer anything stopping them from doing destruction, even the humans who had contributed to raising the Demon King did not escape the death brought by the Demon King.

"No... NO!" Ryu blinked and his breathing roared quickly, he opened his eyes and his sweat splattered.

"That's how it would be if nothing hindered the Demon King anymore. You drink first!" Her aunt handed her a glass of water to calm Ryu Ito down.

Ryu walked over after Teacher Tao left from there. He bandaged Hu Yazhu's wounds slowly. "You once asked me about my broken meridian points. I'll tell you now!"

"Eight years ago, I had an accident and fell into a ravine on Mount Nir. Grandfather Asahi came to my aid, gave me a new identity as Ryu Ito, his grandson."

Hu Yazhu looked at Ryu deeply and listened to all the words that came out of the mouth of the woman before him.

"The painting you see on the altar belongs to my mother, I am her daughter." Ryu took a long breath.

"My name is Yijin. Hu Yazhu's! You're my little friend did you really forget this face? How outrageous, I was so disappointed when I heard you didn't believe me."

But thankfully it was you fools who asked me to come to the Palace to help father!" Ryu smiled subtly and still stood in front of Hu Yazhu.

The woman he had been looking for was now completely standing in front of him and not dead yet. "I'm so stupid for not recognizing you. All my hurtful remarks, my reckless actions I feel really guilty for you." Hu Yazhu looked up and looked at Ryu who was in front of him.

Ryu who had finished dressing Hu Yazhu's wound then gave a slow snort. "The hairpin you saw back then, didn't you know it was my favorite since childhood?"

"You're right!" replied Commander Hu.

"That's proof that I'm the one you've been looking for all this time Hu Yazhu!"

Hu Yazhu was so happy that he did not know how to. The man gently pulled the nape of Ryu's neck and kissed the girl's lips. Her flowing tears came over Ryu Ito's cheeks. Ryu was so shocked that he could not close his eyes as Hu Yazhu's lips touched hers.
