LEGEND OF THE CROWN PRINCESS

LEGEND OF THE CROWN PRINCESS
Episode 23 - Bualan

A cup of jasmine tea complete with her kettle is available at the meeting hall between Ryu Ito and Guru Tao. Teacher Tao's calm demeanor like the lake beside him made Ryu feel awkward and misbehaved. Ryu grabbed the cup containing warm jasmine tea then slowly wiped it, if this is not an illusion it means the existence of his mother's original tribe is still there and only isolated all along. I don't know what makes them hide themselves from the outside world, but what Ryu knows is definitely for the good of the Tribe and also the people in it.

"What's it like to be reborn?"

Hearing the question made Ryu almost spit out all the tea that was in his mouth cavity, he choked then patted his chest many times. Teacher Tao smiled subtly then returned to pouring tea for Ryu to drink, the girl then downed the tea in her glass until it ran out before answering Teacher Tao's question.

"Did Asahi take good care of you?"

"Dao teachers know about me?" Ryu raised his eyebrows, still researching the look on Teacher Tao's face which again looked solemn and cold.

"Of course, you are a descendant of our Pheonix. Your birth has been highly anticipated for a long time."

Ryu still could not digest what Teacher Tao meant, in his previous life he had never even met his mother's original tribe, let alone been warmly welcomed like this. Whether the rebirth relates to the Taoist Tribe or not Ryu is still uncertain.

"Princess shouldn't live such a difficult life like this, take back what is yours, the Taoist Tribe will definitely support behind you! The prophecy of our Tribe says that there will be a descendant of Pheonix who can prosper and re-advance the Taoist Tribe. We believe that it is you!"

Ryu clasped his empty cup then stared straight at the thing, he did not know what to answer but regarding the rebirth he was indeed very surprised because Master Tao knew that. "For now, I still can't reveal my identity. I have to start slowly and precisely, I don't want to fail again."

"I see, we are here to help you restore your spiritual realm and also teach you the various Steps that your mother should have taught you first. Unfortunately, your mother died after giving birth to you. He was the most formidable person among the other Taoist Tribe warriors, after meeting your father he let go of all those from the Tao Tribe and chose to stay in the Palace.

If you are confused about your rebirth, not everything you got in your previous life will you get in this life. And vice versa, so there is no need to think too much about something that is destined."

Ryu understood, he could not use logic for a destiny. The important thing is that he has been given the opportunity to change the course of his life story once again, he must focus on his original goal. Even after conversing with Teacher Tao, Ryu began to understand his great purpose.

On the other hand, the crowd was already waiting for the announcement of the winner for this year's archery competition, all the participants had returned only Ryu alone who still had not seen his nose. Even Hu Yazhu and the other male participants were present in the archery arena. Before long, Cousin Xi whose leg was injured approached King Wen and Consort Fan Hai to give a false report regarding Ryu.

"Greetings Your Majesty, I would like to report something that might not be forgiven just like that."

"Please!" king Wen said.

"I got an order from Consort Fan Hai to guard Princess Jia, but at the border of the forbidden forest I saw a foreign man, a, not long after that I saw someone appear and it was Miss Ryu Ito.

Afterwards, I asked her where she was going, but Miss Ryu got angry and stuck her arrows at my feet then threatened me not to tell King Wen and Commander Hu Yazhu. It seems that man is her lover! It was possible that all this time he had only been spying on the Wen kingdom considering that he was not from this region Your Majesty."

"Xi, don't let this unsubstantiated report punish you, do you have any evidence? You clearly know the punishment for someone slandering others in our Kingdom is with twenty-five lashes!" King Wen stood up then looked at Xi who was resting in front of him.

"Dad! How could Xi's cousin dare lie, I see for myself his injuries are so deep. She went into the forest just to protect me, but why did Miss Ryu have so much heart for her?" Wen Jia played her role, her face was sad but in her heart she was so happy that she managed to eliminate Ryu Ito. "Sister Xi, wake up! I believe you!"

"Believing in the words of a slanderer is the same as agreeing to the boast being spoken of and the punishment is the same! Twenty-five lashes!" The voice was so loud as it walked over with its innate quarry before King Wen Lei and Consort Fan Hai.

Everyone rounded their eyes, Ryu Ito managed to come with his hunted boar. He walked confidently and vigorously, his gaze so sharp that he lowered his quarry and rested and saluted the Emperor. "Pardon Your Majesty's servant, allow me to explain the true events!"

"Sister did sister slander Miss Ryu? It's outrageous, I can't believe it! I'm sorry Dad, because my love for Big Brother Xi makes me blind to judge what's right and what's not. Please don't punish Jia's father!" Wen Jia joined the fray beside Ryu and Xi, after seeing Ryu survived she immediately threw Xi away and made him fall for her failed plan. While Xi could only widen and stare intently at Wen Jia.

"Okay, Miss Ryu please explain!" said King Wen.

"As I searched for the quarry, I saw Miss Xi getting injured at the border of the forbidden forest. I'm pretty suspicious why he was there alone, but he said that Consort Fan Hai sent him and I saw his leg hurt but instead of asking me to treat him he asked me to go after the guy who was being mean to him.

I had no other choice but to chase after the man, unfortunately the path-pointing crystal stone seemed to be broken so I got lost inside the forbidden forest. Your Majesty can send people to see it, it's like it was deliberately tampered with."

After hearing Ryu's explanation quite clearly, King Wen finally understood but the booing Xi was unable to accept so he had to severely punish the woman. "Bring Xi and whip him twenty-five times!"

"Daughter, Princess Jia, this is your plan! Please release me from this punishment!"

"Sister Xi must have deliberately wanted to drag me into this matter ’kan? Clearly you are obsessed with Hu Yazhu to the point of collecting many of his paintings in your room! You must not be happy to see Miss Ryu will be his wife!" Wen Jia was standing right in front of her older cousin.

"What kind of empty egg is Princess Jia!" Cousin Xi rounded his eyes full of anger but the guards had already brought and dragged him to be punished.

"Greetings Father, I've been to Brother Xi's room and was very embarrassed to see his actions collecting the painting of Commander Hu Yazhu secretly. I brought some proof." Wen Jia asked her servant to enter and gave some paintings of Hu Yazhu.

King Wen who saw him felt so guilty towards Ryu and Hu Yazhu as well. She felt that this treatment was not acceptable to the two of them, especially by Ryu who helped her recuperate little by little. "I Emperor Wen Lei specifically apologized for this despicable act to Commander Hu and Miss Ryu. From today on, whatever you want will be granted by the Kingdom."

Hu Yazhu took a step closer towards Ryu and joined in greeting the Emperor. "Thank you for Your Majesty's kindness, I just want to ask for more strict guardianship for my Wife Candidate."

Hearing Hu Yahzu's request, Ryu Ito immediately turned his head and aimed at his face that was so perfect. The man even begged for safety for himself, it made Ryu a little happy.

"Certainly provide a guard around Miss Ryu's Pavilion!" King Wen smiled subtly then turned towards Ryu Ito. "Then, Miss Ryu what do you want?"

"I don't want anything else Your Majesty."

"Alright, with this Commander Hu please send one golden chest to Miss Ryu's family as my apology!"

"Thank You, Your Majesty, you have been kind to your servants and family."
