LEGEND OF THE CROWN PRINCESS

LEGEND OF THE CROWN PRINCESS
Episode 22 - The Taoist Tribe

The gust of wind was so fierce that Ryu had unknowingly set foot outside the borders of the Forbidden Forest and Wen Kingdom. He frowned trying to keep staring clearly at the view in front of him. His decision was now like willingly entering the tiger cage, if he wanted to he should have ignored what was in front of him earlier yet somehow his heart was convinced to cross that border.

He also does not remember since when this border was made, a long time ago when he was little this border does not exist. All of them lived peacefully and without any interference, although reportedly many monsters in this forest but never anyone attacked the citizens.

"Sweet lady's here, and I can't wait to play with you, baby."

A group of people seemed to have been waiting for him with a sword, Ryu raised the corner of his lips by chance once he had just finished restoring the meridians of the body it would be nice if he tested his strength on these scum. Ryu slowly got off his horse, he smiled and greeted the person who clearly intended otherwise. "Choose, one at a time or the same?"

"Well, you're naughty too. What if it's one-on-one and it starts with me."

"Certain, come!" Ryu raises his right foot on the rock and then shows how smooth and smooth the foot is. The man who wanted to start first gulped at how beautiful Ryu Ito's body was, he stepped without hesitation then approached while Ryu quickly removed the sword from its sheath and slashed the neck of the man in front of him until his blood poured out, not much different like a slaughtered chicken.

"next?" Ryu grinned, while the men immediately rounded their eyes and without hesitation directly attacked Ryu with a wiggle. Ryu Ito was now in the middle of the crowd of people who were ready to slash himself with swords. There was no trembling in Ryu's body, How could that fear be possessed again by someone who had passed death?

Those people who were originally playing around were now daunted by how sadistic the woman before them was. Ryu simply played his bloodied sword and stared at every face of the person covered in cloth around him. Even their faces were as deathly pale as a dead lizard. The more they fear the more they make Ryu happy, meaning that his strength has recovered and it is only a matter of learning a few more moves to become unrivalled.

The bandits cursed Ryu inwardly, they began to step up and attack simultaneously only one person who looked so shaky and frightened watching their fight from a distance. In such a short period of time, the four people who attacked Ryu Ito were uprooted with each of them having an incurable defective wound, the holy sword Ryu was holding was now covered in blood and would later write the history of his resurrection eradicating the weeds.

From a distance one remaining person had already pointed an arrow towards Ryu, but judging from the way he held the bow and arrow would definitely miss so that Ryu did not even move a single inch from where he stood. After the arrow was floated towards Ryu and like his guess, the arrow just stuck on the ground right in front of his feet, then the man just ran away.

Ryu cleaned his sword before he returned to the starting arena, he also carried a bow and arrow that he hung on his big horse. Then Ryu was still walking down the forbidden forest, as he heard the sound of a twig being stepped on Ryu instantly pulled out a sword just in case.

"Greetings!"

Seven women in typical tribal attire carried the previously escaped man and dropped him right in front of Ryu in a bound state. "Miss looking? Come with us, the Chieftain wants to see you!"

"Choor Tribe?"

"Tao?" Ryu muttered almost inaudibly by the person in front of him, whom he knew the Tao Tribe was his mother's original Tribe. From the story of the father, Ryu's mother came from the Tao Tribe, the greatest Tribe of his time but his father said he also did not hear from them again since his mother decided to marry Yijin's father. They never again discussed the Tao Tribe, let alone Ryu who had never met his mother in person at all, he could only see his mother's paintings since childhood and heard the story of the greatness of the Tao Tribe by word of mouth.

"Come with us, your presence has been foretold by Master Tao for many years."

Ryu nodded and followed those people from behind, the winding road just like the labyrinth they passed then now in front of him a light that he believed was a protector that stretched from East to West was clearly visible to the naked eye Ryu Ito. "Can you see it? Teacher Tao was right about the prophecy, this array was specially made to protect the rest of our Tribe living in it along with the monsters living side by side with us. You can see it after you get in, come on!"

Ryu was welcome to step in first, the appearance outside the array and inside it was so inversely proportional. Inside the array of beauty the eyes looked at each end, the lake water was so calm, the mountain that looked complete with flying birds, and the water was calm, gotong royong that everyone in it did made Ryu not willing to blink an eye for even a second. The tiger roar sounded beside Ryu and made him so shocked that he almost fell down.

"Goga! You're scaring our guests!"

Seen by a large beast that was four times the height of Ryu looking down respectfully before him as if he wanted to apologize. At first Ryu was so scared, but he brushed it off because his desire to pet the big cat in front of him was so strong. Ryu stood up and gently stroked the big tiger earlier.

"He likes you so much, the monsters know that his master has come!"

Ryu could only smile bitterly, he knew nothing about the Tao Tribe and could not yet be called Master. Then Ryu is escorted to the House of the Chieftain, after entering the house Ryu saw his mother's painting displayed with burning incense in front of him.

"My son!" a middle-aged woman approached Ryu and hugged him.

Ryu could only fall silent and not return the hug, however he still had to be careful because the worst possibility must exist considering the Forbidden Forest was already rumored to be a nest of demons.

"I'm your aunt and that's Teacher Tao!"

Ryu's eyes were fixed on the Taoist Master who he thought was thousands of years old. But what he saw was a long white-haired young man with blue eyes who was staring out of the lake area.

"Our Pheonix Birds have arrived," greeted Teacher Tao to Ryu Ito respectfully.
