Episode 34 - Practice

The next day Ryu walked around every corner of the Taoist Tribe area, this area was called Gao de. Valley surrounded by towering trees that were inside the forbidden forest. The forbidden forest itself had an area that was so unusual, this forest connected with each other with several mountains in the outer region of the kingdom. While wandering around, Ryu stared straight at a mountain across the lake that looked like a gate to another realm.

"Auntie, I don't see any boats here to go to the lake and across it."

Aunt Tao chuckled and looked at Ryu. "We don't need that, we can use the science of lightening the body to walk on water."

"really. I forgot, then is aunt willing to teach this body-relieving style?"

Ryu furrowed his brows. "I'm just surprised you came all of a sudden. Besides, we're a hundred years old, I wouldn't be fooled by that!"

Teacher Tao turned his head with his eyes fully rounded. "This face is grace, the only one who has it is me."

"Teacher, please help me first. I could freeze!"

The Taoist teacher snorted softly then grabbed Ryu's hand and led him to the mountain across the river. Ryu looked at the strange gate up close, there was a terrible sound from inside that even made his feathers stand up. The sound of screaming for help for freedom, even threats and anger.

Teacher Tao understood the sign Ryu gave, he stomped his feet once making the scaly gate that originally bloomed to be tightly closed again. "Devil, evil spirits are locked up there. Your father tried to raise the Demon King to strengthen his throne. He did not know what was in there, a dangerous creature that ate whatever he saw in front of him, even an emperor!"

Ryu was stunned then looked towards the gate, he could not let his father raise the Demon King who was capable of destroying the entire continent.

Fifteen days had passed, Ryu had already done the fifteenth meditation. His spiritual realm had already reached the upper second level of the four tiers. The girl is now studying alchemy with her teacher, Ryu decides to study poison first. He turned his head towards the flat-bottomed Taoist Master and was still focused on heating the bathtub.

"Teacher, last night I accidentally read your note that in order to become resistant to a poison we must be exposed to the poison ourselves."

"You did it on purpose because you knew I could help you?" Teacher Tao furrowed his brows.

"True, haven't I now become more resistant to the deadly insect venom I made?"

"True, you are so brave to achieve something you are willing to sacrifice yourself. It won't mean if I'm not next to you, you're careless and can die at any time. Don't do anything dangerous again without my knowledge. Do you understand my students?"

"I understand!" Ryu nodded a few times. Not long came a man with a run so hastily and called out the name of Master Tao from outside the bath.

Ryu looked at the Taoist Master who instantly got up and came out of the bath. He also went up and put on a cloth to cover his body, Ryu grabbed his clothes and immediately put them up properly then came out following the hurried Taoist Master.

"Your father began to attack the border, if it continues like this it can definitely be solved" concluded the Aunt.

"I will turn myself in, I will make a pact with him and beg not to destroy the Taoist Tribe" Ryu replied firmly.

"You sure?"

Ryu nodded with confidence.
