Episode 14 - Dinner Banquet

The Pavilion belonging to King Wen who is now his shelter in the Palace makes Ryu Ito feel a little safe even though he is home, although it does not feel like a real house at least Ryu Ito is not far from the father to monitor the situation.

For the past eight years, the pavilion was empty and no one was allowed to occupy it. Because initially the place will be used as the residence of Princess Wen Yijin after marriage, if Princess Wen Yijin had not fallen into the abyss and disappeared it was possible that these years she would have been married to the prince Long Chen who came from Daechan Kingdom when the biggest annual event was held. However, because it could not happen eventually King Wen Lei gave up the residence to fill Ryu Ito as the future wife of his confidant.

As usual, the best place for Ryu Ito was to sit by the open window while gazing at the brightly shining moon. She can't wait to foil the whole plan that her stepmother is going to do in the future. After arriving at the royal courtyard, Ryu Ito looked at Hu Yazhu who was standing in the middle of a group of people who were gathered together to beg for mercy. There were some people who were victims of the rebellion last night and the rest would be enslaved forever in the Wen Kingdom. Ryu Ito approached Hu Yazhu and examined every person who had the face of his servant in his previous life. Upon seeing the two twin girls Ryu Ito immediately pointed and turned towards Hu Yazhu.

"I want that one!"

Hu Yazhu only smiled faintly at Ryu Ito's request, then he asked the bodyguards to bring the two men before Ryu. "Guards, please bring the two girls here!"

The rest would be randomly chosen to serve some important people within the palace. Some men who have martial arts will be taken and trained into soldiers, then some become eunuchs. Ryu smiled widely when faced with two women who became his loyal servants in his previous life. The woman patted the two girls on the shoulders and led them straight to the pavilion with the Hu family servant.

One of the Aera Tribe rebels came before Hu Yazhu carrying a glittering ruby necklace. Clearly it was Hu's family necklace, Hu Yazhu stared at his family's necklace for a long time asking for clarity on the man who carried it but she herself did not know whose necklace it was. Hu Yazhu was convinced that Ryu Ito must have a plan that he did not know behind him.

So many were destroyed by the Aera rebellion, if this had anything to do with Ryu Ito of course Hu Yazhu would not have stayed silent. After bringing her two new servants to the pavilion, Ryu began to prepare to attend a dinner party with Hu's extended family. While looking in the mirror, he realized that the necklace that Hu Yazhu had lent him was no longer there. The woman opened her jewelry storage box and checked under the pillow and mattress. But as he remembered he did not let go of the necklace for a second.

The man clad in blue official clothes sauntered into his room, an aura so cold that he followed the man's footsteps as he approached Ryu Ito. Ryu's nailing gaze made him seem unable to move anywhere let alone blur. Ryu swallowed his own saliva, he sighed then sat staring at the mirror in front of him.

Hu Yazhu was now already right behind Ryu, the man bowed and inhaled the scent of heavenly dew that was very famous in their Continent. Hu Yazhu inhaled the nape of Ryu's neck which made the woman even more sculpted and unable to move, but it was not all because of magic but only because of Ryu's mind, the man dipped his lips behind Ryu's neck. "Gee!" made Ryu shudder a little.

Hu Yazhu draped a red rocky object that was clearly visible was a relic of the Hu family jewelry. Ryu was stunned, he was increasingly speechless let alone the aura of Hu Yazhu that was so intimidating to him. "You dropped it on the lawn, I purposely brought it for you."

Ryu Ito heaved a sigh of relief, he was worried if the thing fell in the Aera Tribe area. If that was the case, he was afraid that Hu Yazhu would suspect himself of being related to the rebellion yesterday night.

One by one the memories of his previous life crossed Ryu Ito's mind, because he had changed the beginning of the story from his previous life he only believed that some of it would happen soon. One day a rebellion of the Aera Tribe had occurred and some became slaves, and some became slaves, the former residence of the Aera Tribe was instead used as a nest of bandits secretly by Consort Fan Hai to smooth his way into becoming the future Queen of the Wen kingdom.

"You're ready? Let's go together!" Hu Yazhu extended her hand to Ryu Ito who was still daydreaming about the events in his previous life. "If you suspect me just because of this necklace, you're wrong!" Ryu walked past Hu Yazhu and immediately headed for the royal banquet hall.

Ryu felt grateful that he had survived two devastating deaths. His destiny in this life must be changed as best he can. The banquet had already begun, Ryu greeted Hu's second family who had been waiting for him to come, there was Hu Yazhu's uncle, aunt and cousin. Ryu remembered that Hu Yazhu's parents had long since he was a child, he should not have thought too much about their opinions about the marriage that would be done without the permission of Hu's second family. But, Hu Yazhu had great respect for his uncle, as the elder of the Hu family of course the respect that Hu Yazhu had required him to tell the news of this sudden marriage.

"Sister Hu, why didn't you tell mom and dad about your marriage?"

"Uncle, Aunt thank you for coming to dinner. Earlier I wanted to apologize for not being able to report this directly because of the country's duties that I had to run lately." Hu Yazhu saluted his uncle.

"It's okay, uncle understands. But before that, uncle wants to know about your future wife. Why doesn't anyone come to represent her?"

"Look Elder Hu, my family is unable to attend because of a minor disaster." Ryu stood up and saluted the elder of the Hu family and his wife.

"What endowment?" Concubine Fan Hai suddenly came with Princess Jia to the banquet hall.

"Greetings Your Majesty," Hu Yazhu's uncle and aunt stood saluting the Concubine and her daughter.

"The king has arrived!" The cry of the Palace maids to everyone present in the banquet made everyone instantly stand up and salute.

"Why do you look weaker than before?" inner Ryu.
