Episode 35 - duel

Ryu came out from a protective array of Gao De Valley along with Teacher Tao behind him. Also seen was the Emperor in armor with Hu Yazhu beside him and also Consort Fan Hai. Ryu was speechless to see the Father directly leading the troops to penetrate the Tao Tribe valley.

"Give your respects to our Crown Princess, Wen Yijin!" King Wen Lei exclaimed at all his troops. Everyone who was there immediately paid their respects and rested on Ryu Ito.

"Regend! Father, I will come with you as long as you do not break the protection limit for the Tao Tribe!"

"It's not true, Yijin come here! Let's both control them."

Ryu Ito took a few steps back and turned his head towards Teacher Tao. "If you don't accept my offer. What can I do!" Ryu pulled out a blade of his sword, as it was swung by a glittering light from the sword bounced towards King Wen Lei who was now looking at his daughter.

"Are you going against your own father Yijin?" King Wen glanced sharply at Ryu, while Concubine Fan Hai grinned happily at this father-son relationship heating up.

"Princess Yijin, come with us!" said Hu Yazhu.

Ryu directly pointed his sword at Hu Yazhu. "I won't let one inch of your army hurt my mother's native tribe!"

Teacher Tao walks and stands parallel to Ryu, signaling he is ready to do all the things Ryu decides to do, even all the troops behind the array within the Tao Tribe were already preparing with their traditional weapons. Just waiting for the signal from Ryu Ito.

"Those who made your mother die, I'm sure her disappearance is the curse of this tribe of bastards!"

"Dad! If you say that, it means you think of me as a curse! Mom died after giving birth to me, does that mean I'm a shit like them?" Ryu brandished his sword at the Father making Hu Yazhu step up and protect their Emperor.

"Daughter, never swing your sword at King Wen Lei, or I will not hesitate to make calculations against you. Come back with us to the kingdom, the fake Crown Princess has already been driven away from the palace and the Emperor has already announced the inauguration of your title."

Ryu laughed a little. "really? You would do such a disgusting thing just because my father turned into the King of Tyrants?"

"Daughter Yijin! Keep your word to His Majesty the King!" Consort Fan Hai got off his horse carriage.

"You! I'll kill you first!"

"really?" Concubine Fan Hai smirked. "Let's just say, have a duel between the Crown Princess and also King Wen Lei. Whoever wins can ask for one request that must be granted!"

King Wen turned his head towards his concubine with a frown on his forehead. He had no idea what the snake woman was planning. "I can't possibly go against my own daughter, Hu Yazhu vice versa against the Crown Princess!"

"No! I will replace Princess Yijin against Commander Hu Yazhu."

Ryu turned to the advancing Taoist Master by tightly grasping his sword. The girl shook her head and blocked Teacher Tao. "Teacher, let me do it!"

Hu Yazhu who saw Ryu's deep gaze on Teacher Tao made the man feel a pang of resentment in his chest. So that he eagerly agreed to Master Tao's offer to fight him. "Of course, that's better! I can't hit a woman."

"Alright, a deal has been made. Whoever wins will be granted his wish" said King Wen Lei.

But Hu Yazhu was a Warlord who had been accustomed to fighting and warfare for many years. However the man's sword had already cost him many lives, Ryu did not want to make anyone injured among them. Although Master Tao does not have enough martial arts, but his alchemy is more dangerous than anything, especially for someone who can concoct deadly poison like him.

"No need to worry, I won't poison your future husband!"

"Teacher! I'm worried about you, however Hu Yazhu is a Warlord!"

"Hm, I know. That's why I let myself take your place against him."

Ryu Ito saluted. "Thank you Master, I hope we make it this time."

Teacher Tao nodded then changed his clothes to fighting clothes. With a string on her forehead the man looked so beautiful. He smiled subtly at Ryu who was still silent looking at him. "Is something wrong?"

"How can the teacher be so beautiful?"

"Are you laughing at me?"

"Of course not, let's meet them!"

The two of them walked out of the border to go to the fighting arena. Hu Yazhu was tying the rope in her hand then pulling the knot with her teeth. Two different men fight in one arena. Hu Yazhu walked over towards Ryu Ito and smiled sweetly at him.

"The emperor has allowed me to marry you, I will win this and bring you back to the palace. I don't care what happens next, as long as I can be with you I will."

Ryu was stunned and his cheeks flushed red, Hu Yazhu's obsessive words to him managed to make his heart beat fast. But, this is not the time to be lulled by that sweet greeting. If his father managed to resurrect the Demon King, they would definitely not be together. Teacher Tao pulled Ryu's arm slowly in order to turn to him. Instantly Master Tao floated a soft kiss to Ryu's lips without any cue at all.

Ryu was stunned and his eyes blinked several times to taste the sweet lips of his teacher. This is not true! That was what he had in mind at the moment, the relationship of teacher and student should not be more than that. Hu Yazhu who was still before them rounded his gaze and was instantly filled with anger as if he wanted to explode and burn everything he saw.

"You!" threaten Hu Yazhu's.

Teacher Tao let go of his kiss on Ryu, then smiled and gently caressed the woman's cheek. "You are the antidote to my poison, with this my body will withstand any attack. I know you're on my side."

Hearing the ludicrous words spoken by Master Tao made Ryu's hair stand up. He did not expect his teacher to turn out to be so sweet like that, Ryu was sure that he did so to damage Hu Yazhu's concentration so that the chance for him to win could be higher. Especially considering that he promised not to give any poison attacks to Hu Yazhu which would surely make his winning chances reduced.

Ryu nodded. Then the two participants immediately walked towards the fighting arena. Hu Yazhu and Teacher Tao were now standing opposite each other with swords in their hands. As loud as the attack was launched by Hu Yazhu, he attacked Master Tao without pause. Seeing the man grasping the sword wrongly, he was sure that Master Tao did not have the foundation of martial arts.

Teacher Tao continued to get attacks until he sat down to fall, Ryu who saw that instantly reflexes walked forward to make sure his condition was fine. "Teacher!"

Master Tao wiped the blood coming out of his mouth, then stood up and grasped his sword properly. Now that he had managed to dodge every single attack of Hu Yazhu, it turned out that the wily man had deliberately succumbed first to pay attention to the technique Hu Yazhu was playing.
